Let me preface by saying I understand what customer service entails including all of its challenges. I m generally positive and very optimistic by nature, and fairly patient bc I understand that s#!t happens.. This is literally the first time I ve ever had to leave a negative remark about any business.. But if you value your time and hard-earned money, and you want to protect your finances then I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. AND HERE S WHY:I originally went to this store the evening of Thurs, Dec 28 to get a quote for four new tires, and an alignment. I took my car in the following day on Fri, Dec 29 to have it serviced. After being there 4 5 hrs, left their store with NO ISSUES whatsoever. That was until the following morn (Sat Dec 30), coincidentally my TPS light were all lit up on the dashboard.. I call that Sat afternoon and spoke to Alan explaining the situation over the phone around 3 4pm in the afternoon, and he recommended to bring it back next day (Sun, Dec 31) indicating they were too busy to take in any other vehicles. I had to wait until Mon, Jan 1st due to personal reasons.. brought my vehicle back to have the TPS lights checked out. A young lady who helped me finally explained the issue after waiting another 4 5 hrs. Unfortunately they had to place an order for said TPS devices since they didn t have it in stock. She told me that they d call me back once those arrived in store. I get home that same evening only to find that one of their techs who worked on my car damaged one of my wheels and broke the hubcap to it. And didn t bother telling anyone. AT ALL. The following day (Tues, Jan 2nd), waited all day long but didn t hear anything from this store. So I proceeded to follow back up with them by phone that evening and spoke to Alan again. He told me the TPS devices didn t arrive yet, and that he d follow back up with that order.. He assures me that they ll call me once the order arrives. It is TODAY (Wed, Jan 3) and still no word from the store so I decided to give them a call bc at this point I just don t have any confidence that they will follow up with me. I once again speak with Alan.. He initially tells me that the ordered hasn t arrived, and I responded by asking if they ll call me or if I need to call back in to confirm that order. Mind you they have failed to reach out to me by phone, and it s been entirely up to me to be more proactive about this whole ordeal.. That s when Alan changes his response to go do a more diligent check for that order. Places me on brief hold, and comes back to confirm that the order is in-store. IN THAT MOMENT, Alan tells me that they re too busy.. But then pauses, and corrects himself and says you know what, go ahead and bring your car in and we ll have it done within the hour or so I get to the store, and they literally weren t even busy at a glance as they had only maybe two vehicles in their bay areas being worked on. But the service ends up taking an additional 2 3 hours, and bc I ve had to be more proactive at this point I noticed my car was staged into a parking space back in front.. At this point, I am purely frustrated with this whole experience! Once I finish checking out for the TPS device installation, I told Alan that one of his techs had broken one of my wheel hubcaps and what is the best way to get this handled.. I remained calm but was so upset (screaming inside my head), bc nobody bothered telling me about the broken hubcap issue along with the combination of issues I ve personally encountered at this store.. What I have learned by this whole experience??! THIS STORE seriously lacks leadership, customer service, integrity. This store overall was very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with! If you value your time and money then save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.. But if you choose to still go to this store for any kind of service then proceed with extreme caution and be aware that they will upsell you on their other products and services. DO NOT EXPECT 5-star service.. You ve been warned. ~An

I called and had same day appt. Arrived and dropped off my vehicle. Staff were friendly and prompt to get me in my way. Accurate pricing and finished within 5 hours. Service was front end shocks and struts relaxed.

This is by far the worst Firestone that is out there. I am not one to leave negative reviews but just want to warn the next victim that decides to stop there like I did. I should have trusted the reviews. I was told it would take 1.5 - 2 hrs to start looking at my car. 5 hours later I am told that they can t do the alignment anymore. Be warned this is definitely not a good place to take your car.

I m not in the habit of giving negative reviews but I m sharing my experience here to forewarn others as I wish I would ve read the recent reviews prior to scheduling service here.March 7, 2024, I needed an alignment done and gladly purchased the lifetime alignment as it seemed like a good deal and my car has been pulling to the right ever since I got a new tire here a few months ago.Before completing the service, they called to try to upsell several other services. This was alarming because they recommended replacing a coupler I replaced last year as well as replacing the spark plugs which I had replaced even more recently.After picking the vehicle up, I noticed it severely pulling the opposite direction. I also noticed the steering wheel making movements and noises it did not before. I called them the next morning and they assured me the manager and the tech would call back to investigate. After no call all day, I stopped by around 5:30. The manager knew the issue as soon as we walked up and gave excuse after excuse (blaming staff, amount of work, and my vehicle) before saying, We make mistakes all the time with the amount of cars coming through here. He reluctantly gave a refund and now I ve wasted a day, have to schedule the same service elsewhere, and am left to wonder what else they may have broken in my vehicle.

Had an appointment at 1pm to get my car inspected. At 2:30 they still had not taken my car back and told me that I was up next. Then, a service guy walked outside and grabbed another car at 3pm. I waited 2 hours and didn t even get my car inspected. I ended up getting my keys back and going somewhere else. Not a good experience at all.

January 9,2024. I really wish I can give 0 stars. I came to get a battery replaced. Dropped off at 10am came at 5pm to know it s still not done. lol how long does it take to get a battery replace. Shoot replace the technicians

The Customer service here is absolutely horrible. They don t acknowledge customers at all. Walked in and two of the older employees didn t even bat an eye, note said anything. I have come here many times and every visit just proves my statement. I came again to get my tire pressure fixed, and they said to pull around back. After pulling around they looked at me and closed the garage door. Service here is a complete EMBARRASSMENT and looking at the previous reviews, Firestone needs to take some action on this as this is unacceptable.

I had a problem in my car (ALIGNMENT SERVICE) I paid $110.99 to repair the of my car. After receiving the car, I found that they had not fixed the problem. So I went back to them, and their technician told me that it was a defect found in all Optima cars. Is this reasonable !!!!!! If it was reasonable, why didn't they tell me before I handed over the car and the maintenance amount ??????

My car was making noises. They said the rear brakes were damaged. They said after fixing the rear brake, the noise would go away. They said they fixed it but the noise got worse. Plus, they overcharged me $1300 for service. Other car shops only charge less than $500 for brake service. I felt taken advantage of being a woman. Alan, the manager, was not honest with me.

Impressed. All around, just really great customer service. Friendly guy at the counter, followed by a relatively fast synthetic oil change even though it was a little busy. Been using Firestone for my vehicles for years, but first time at this location. Will make this my primary shop going forward.

Terrible experience. Quoted 2 hours or under for 2 tires. Waited 2 hours, car hasn't even been pulled in. They could care less about the customer. When I asked them updates they just ignored me. I'll never be back.

I went in this morning for a flat tire I got on Wed morning. My husband Peter made the appt for me and got them to order the tire. When I came in this morning, Alan told me that I was getting two replaced, correct? I told him no, I only had one flat tire, and he responded that my husband told him two tires. I stood firm and said nope, just one.Two hours later, once the flat was fixed, Alan calls me over and told me that the guy found two nails in the back tire that couldn t be repaired and needed to be replaced. And it wasn t under warranty. And then he added that Peter told him two tires needed to be replaced. I asked Peter and he confirmed that he only asked for one tire to be ordered.I paid for the original flat tire to be replaced and left. Alan was dishonest about what my husband said about the number of tires repeatedly. It puts me in a very uncomfortable position of wondering if there was more dishonesty. My husband s been coming for a few years to get both our cars serviced, but we will not be returning.Photos attached. The photo with the white squares show the two nails they found. My original flat tire had a strange metal shard in it (in the other photo) which flattened my tire immediately.

You do not want to use this location. Took my Jeep in Wed at 10:30 for an oil change and was told no problem. Went to pick it up at 6:40 and it had not been worked on. Short on mechanics and overpromise work. Overbid tires for me last year. Got them cheaper at a Jeep dealer.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I scheduled an appointment for 6pm on Thursday, January 18th. I sat in the lobby for about 1 and 1/2 hours before being told that I has to return the next day for my service. For the inconvenience I was given a discount.

Recently had my tires balanced here .. made it two miles down the road before weights slung off.. come to find out they'll do that when you try and put stickers on top of brake dust because they didnt clean the wheels .. I then inspect my other wheels and they left a front wheel with 14 quarter once weights on it ! No wonder they sling off!While standing in line I hear the manager tell the customer in front of me they'll pull her spark plugs to look for rust which is an indication that water is in her gas ... umm I was a mechanic for years and never heard of such..and wouldnt a much more reliable way be to pull the line at the filter and see if water separates from gas ? Mechanic 101 here guys that sounded straight fraud to meOn a positive note they refunded my money back and offered to re balance them.. I shouldnt have to come back after 2 miles ...and after hearing their mechanic advice why would I come back period ?Oh and the explanation for 14 weights on a front tire was that they only have quarter ounce weights .. not sure why the shop isnt supplied like they should be but I guarantee theyve just been stacking quarter ounce weights like mad on your tires tooEDITEDthe regional manager contacted me soon after this review and had me taken care of at a different Firestone that was well above this one. It was also discovered the reason for so many weights was that I had a bad tire the other Firestone missed !A+++ for the regional manager but way bad for technicians at this place.

Went in to have 4 tires replaced and my windshield wipers. Took over three hours and two days later one of my new windshield wipers flew off. Wretched experience.

I have always had great service here. Kacie is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional & honest. I had stopped at a different location to have air put in my tires. After the guy checked my tires he told me my brakes needed to be replaced. I told him I needed to talk to my husband about it first. My husband said they were fine but to have them looked at when I went in to have a front end alignment next weekend. I mentioned it to Kacie and she said she would look at them for me. She came back in a little later and told me they were fine. I really appreciated her honesty. If you are needing someone to take your car to that you can trust, go see Kacie. Made an appointment for 2 in the afternoon for an AC system check, arrived around 1:50. The tech said "If it's a 'XYZ' system, we can check it. Otherwise we won't be able to check it." We confirmed that it was 'XYZ' and I left my car at the shop to get checked. 3.5 hours later they called to say "we can't check this system - you'll need to have it checked at a dealer." Why did it take 3.5 hours when I had made an appointment? Maybe I'm expecting too much from an auto mechanic. Due to the delay, I was not able to get my car back for 2 days.When I went to pick up the car, they had left all of the doors unlocked. When I asked them if this was standard practice, they said "Nothing happens to the cars - we watch them." That is not a satisfactory response! All it takes is a click of a button, but they didn't care enough to do that.The only reason for the extra star is that they didn't charge me the checkout fee. They are polite, but they need to revise their standard operating procedures.

The young guy at the front desk is extremely unprofessional & rude. I went there to get some air. He told me to wait & he will get to it when he can. I waited almost 20 mins outside and another guy working there noticed & asked to help me out of courtesy. At that point we both noticed a small nail in the tire. I was referred to the manager(older gentleman) at the front desk who told me it will take few mins and they should be able to repair it. After waiting for 20 mins I asked the young guy at the front desk if he can give me some ETA/estimated time as my car is still parked outside & i was told it will be few mins for the repair. He rudely responded that he doesn't know how long will it take & can't give me any ETA. After 5 mins I asked for my keys back as I was getting late to go somewhere, he went to get details from my car and returned the keys. All good. But when I asked him again if I can at-least get some air for the tire with nail to take the car home, his response with a rude/full of attitude tone was "I will get to it when i have time". Are you kidding me ? you standing there in front of computer, there is no other customer and you just had time to go take odometer reading etc. etc. from my car before giving me keys back, but you can't help with air. Basically I spent almost 1 hour there and didn't even get air for the tire. This front desk guy is not a fit for this customer facing position. I took my car to Richardson location where they are professional & know how to treat customer.Service: Tires
