These guys are great they worked on my 2014 Dodge dually 3500 got the work done way faster than I thought they could very impressive. I highly recommend them I will not let anybody else work on my truck they went above and beyond.

Was having a issues with my 2010 Cummins, brought it here. These guys are very honest and professional with you, keep you updated all the time as well very patient with there customers. So far my truck is running better than ever thanks to these guys.

I was having issues with my 04 F250 6.0Brought it to Backyard dieselz for them to diagnose. After about 2 days, the realized it was an electrical issue, not a mechanical issue.They worked with me on a plan and budget to find the issue. They had the truck back up and running after a day or two.Couldn't have been happier with the experience.

I travel around the US and work my trucks! I bought a Nissan Titan XD desiel and hated it. I had it worked on at dealers and shops all over the southeast, only to find the Absolute best desiel shop in the country in my own back yard in Garland TX !!These guys and the truth and the best out there! If you got a desiel, you need them on speed dial !! Professional, Honest, and the absolute BEST at what they do.

Carlos and his team worked on my 99 F350 and did a fantastic job. This is the best shop I have been to and Carlos really knows his stuff. I have taken my truck to a couple of other shops in the NW Dallas area (that had good reviews) and they all suffered by comparison to Backyard Dieselz. If you have any doubts on where to take your diesel for any type of service, do not hesitate to reach out to Carlos and his team. They will have you completely satisfied from start to finish.

F250 super duty wouldn t start so had ittowed to ford dealer ship who came back with 15000 dollar estimate to replace fuel system. Told them no thanks and took to back yard diesel where I talked to Carlos and he told me he would diagnose and he called me two days later with 250 dollar estimate. He was honest and very pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend that if your diesel has a problem to take it to backyard diesel.

The owner of this shop is an amazing person. Went above and beyond to help me. Fixed my f250 king ranch runs better now than when brand new. I would highly recommend this shop. Honest does what they say.

Carlos and his team are amazing! They do great work and are very helpful answering questions about your truck. Carlos was able to diagnose my problem over the phone. Recently purchased a '07 F350 with 75k miles and wanted to have a local shop perform an inspection. Carlos was able to schedule me in a timely manner and offer a short list of a few things found. More importantly he shared his thoughts on what I didnt need. He gave me some tips on fluids and part recommendations for me to take care of some general maintenance that I was able to perform myself. Would be willing to use their services again if needed. Thanks

Easily the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic. I arrived desperate and expecting the worst with a busted engine, which made me a great candidate for being taken advantage of. Not only did Carlos give me tips on how to better approach mechanics in the future he also immediately put me at ease by letting me know the problem wasn t going to be as bad as I assumed. He charged me very fairly for the repair and corrected a few extra issues for free while he waited for the diagnosis. He is as honest as they come and efficient, I am a forever customer.

I had taken my 2013 Ford F-250 to a couple of other shops before I had it finally taken to Carlos. The other shops couldn t pin point the problem and wanted to replace lots of things in hopes of figuring out the solution. That meant lots of money out of my pocket. A buddy of mine recommended Carlos to me and assured me that he knew what he was doing. 3 days later he calls me and says my truck is ready. Music to my ears. It s been running perfect ever since.

This will be my new go to place for service on my diesel. Carlos saved me over 5k. I will never take my truck to the dealership again. He will tell you straight up what your truck needs. He's extremely knowledgeable about all things diesel. You cannot place your trust in a better place.

I would like to start of by saying that Carlos and his guys are top notch, honest and are very attentive to detail. I have to say this is the best Diesel mechanic I've ever ran across and he will be the only one going forward that will work on my truck. It's hard to find a honest and trustworthy diesel mechanic now days. I will be recommending Backyard Diesel to all of my friends and anyone that I run across. Carlos your the man!

Best Diesel shop at DFW. They were able to find and fix a very peculiar issue with my 6.0 powerstroke. Carlos and his team aee very knowledgeble, helpful and honest. They are my go to diesel shop now.

Came in for a code for my injectors that no other diesel mechanic could figure out. Brought my truck to Backyard Dieselz, even tho they were back up, figured the problem out and got me back on the road within less than two weeks. Loved the work they ve done. Even brought it back to do my regular maintenance check up. High would recommend.

If your looking for real diesel mechanic professionals, Carlos and he's team are the best in the industry, and there family owned and operated, Carlos is honest and fair pricing, I moved Away about a hour and half, and still come back to have him work on my dodge ram 3500, I run a hotshot business and trust him big time!!! to make sure my truck is sound and ready for work.

Carlos did a fantastic job on my engine rebuild. Other people have said this but I was in the perfect place for Carlos to take advantage of me but he was so professional and took such great care of me. Customer for life!

These guys were great. My alternator was going bad. I'm working here from another state and don't have any tools with me. These guys jumped right in and had me in and out in no time. They dropped what they were doing to help me out. Customer service like this is hard to find. They also didn't take advantage of the situation and over charge me!!! Super good guys!

I have tried many other shops with no luck on finding a trustworthy diesel mechanic. When I came to Backyard Diesel I had spent a lot of money trying to fix problem and no one could figure it out. Not only did he figure it out and fixed he rushed my truck back. So I could get back to work.

Charged me 900$ to fix my truck. The problem came back up the same day I picked up the truck owner would not return my calls or texts.
