I just came to compliment the young lady who worked in front. I waited for about 25 minutes, first in line and then for the mechanic to look at my vehicle. During this time, this lady handled incoming calls, two lines of face-to-face customers, and quick-chats with the mechanics LIKE A PRO. Not once did she respond rudely to any customer (in person or by phone ) and neither did she become snippy with her team. As a person who values friendly customer service and honesty, I just wanted to commend her. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name right now, but gee willy did she model excellent customer service that positively represents the Firestone brand!

This definitely deserves no stars. I went to have my car inspected for the inspection sticker and when they connected the emissions computer it made the car die. One guy thought it had no gas and the other guy thought it was the battery finally a third one disconnected the computer and then the car started right up. Now, as a result of this my air conditioner is no longer working. I just had it fixed last year paid a couple of thousand dollars and now there's no cold air. Very incompetent workers.

As always we got excellent service! We had a tire emergency today and not only did the store manager, Jon, fit us in when they were already super busy, but he also went above and beyond by letting us know they were attempting to remove the damaged valve stem without scratching or damaging the rim of our Lincoln Aviator. This was especially nice since nothing on that vehicle is ever inexpensive to fix. We appreciate the integrity of Jon and the Firestone team in Galveston!

I called to get an appointment same day and for my vehicle to be looked due to a nail in the tire and an inspection sticker, they worked me in immediately and did a great work! This team was very professional, fast, and accurate. They did a phenomenal job!

Very affordable oil change, however you don t receive the same level of service you would at other shops. For example, they don t show you the level on the dipstick. Regardless, I don t think I could find a cheaper oil change.

I wish I knew the name of the man that helped me. I came in on January 2nd at 630pm because my low tire pressure light was on. He asked me to pull up to the garage and put air in my tires. I was out of there in 5 minutes. Great and fast service.

If I could do zero stars I would. CLAY at Firestone is an incredibly sassy man and treats customers like GARBAGE. Unprofessional, had been waiting there for almost an hour and he suddenly said he couldn t find me on the system. Horrible service do not choose this store.

I went and got my oil changed here a little over a year ago when I had to get new tire. When it was time to get my oil changed again I discovered that they had tightened the bolt that holds the oil in the pan too tight and cross threaded the bolt. I had to get the oil pan replaced and spend over $500 for what could have been a basic oil change if they did not mess up my car or fix the problem that they caused. Be careful getting if you get your oil changed here as you may have the same problem as I did.

I booked an appointment online. Showed up for the appointment. Then was told Oh yeah, I forgot to get around to you to let you know we can t book your appointment bc the guy that does that isn t here. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful for my time and gas wasted.

Waited for 2 hrs for a scheduled appointment for my car to get a oil change and tire rotation. Then the tech didn't even put a oil filter sticker for wife to know it was changed the old one is still up on windshield.

It's 'aight. They get the job done good, but you have to be over them 3-4 times. At least that was my experience with alignments. But to be fair, I had that exact same experience with an other mechanic shop here in Galveston. I had to let go of my steering wheel in a back alley, and on a main road for that other place to believe me.The Firestone guys behave professionally, and at least WANTED to get things right even if they didn't the first time. That's more than I can say of some shops. At this point in time, I believe Firestone to be honest and transparent with pricing, and would definitely bring my vehicle back to them!Google asked me to review businesses I've been too, and the incident I'm talking about happened to some work vans a year to a year and a half ago. I also thought I would need them last week when a piece of metal got stuck in my tire at that $h�++y recycling center here in town, but the guy ripped the metal out of my tire when I directly told him not too, but I saw that he had actually taken a safe bet, and that I didn't need a new tire, but I was mad as heck that, he did that, but fortunately I did not need to come into Firestone.You guys did give me great service on the phone, FAIR AND CLEAR PRICING, and were willing to try to fit me in. Even though I ended up not needing service, having that good experience ups the review from a 3 up to 4 stars. I also just realized that I wrote four paragraphs, so if guys want to read this review elsewhere, you can find it on good reads and Audible.For a Galveston business, I would rate this franchise as 20/5 stars.

Bob & Phil took care of me. I drive an older Jeep Wrangler & known nothing about its up keep. They gave me a list of everything that needed done & then told me what HAD to be done for my safety. My total was incredibly high at first but Phil took the time to find discounts that applied and it dropped it down nearly $400. I highly recommend this place. Especially for us women that just don t really know much about this stuff. Wrangler drives better today than the day I bought it! Thank you guys!!!

Asked about alignment when symptoms became more than normal for an alignment. Got the "bring it in tomorrow morning" brush off. OMW to another mechanic IMMEDIATELY...broke down. Blew the clutch. Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy...And I'm no novice.

If three hours for an oil change and battery replacement along with terribly rude customer service do not sound okay to you then stay away from this place. The young lady who waited on me - I believe her name was Lauren - was rude to the point of almost being obnoxious. This, along with the long wait made for a very unpleasant experience, one that I will not be repeating. I suppose I had come to expect a certain level of customer service from a well known and respected company such as Firestone and that made this experience all the more disappointing.

Driving to the Port of Galveston, with 2.5 hours left to debark, our car's brakes and rotors held on long enuf to get us here. They miraculously had ALL parts in stock and had us back on the road in an hour. Fast, friendly, and efficient. God's handiwork was all over this trip. PTL

Just want to make people aware of some great service at the Firestone on 61st. We got a bad nail in the car near Randalls and the pressure dropped fast. We just about made it to the Firestone and the person (male) behind the counter was very helpful and let my wife and pups come inside from the cold while he looked for a tire. Unfortunately, they did not have the tire in stock but put on the flat for free ( I did tip the technician) and suggested we call the BMW dealership in Clear Lake as they would have the tire in stock. He was very knowledgeable and gave some great advice about replacing just one vs all four and regular vs ride flat. Great customer service and helped out in a stressful situation.

Great service at this Firestone and all three of the stores I've experienced over 10 years. They do honest work and let you know if they can't fix a deeper problem. I have nothing bad to say. Try them!

Where to start? I placed my car in the shop and put in comments the bearing was probably bad. They called pretty fast and said both front tie rods needed replaced with alignment. I approved and picked up to find my steering wheel wasn t centered (it was before). I took it back and they fixed it, but I asked are you sure you checked the bearings because it sounded bad . They gave the car back and when I got on 45, it shook so bad I kept it under 50. Look, I m no mechanic but I grew up working on them. When I took it to my mechanic in League City, a place I didn t want to drive to because I knew dangers of a bearing, they jacked it up and their findings? Passenger bearing and both control arms are so bad at the boot, they can almost move an inch. This could ve costed me my car and possibly mine or someone s life on the road. It s pitiful that ASE mechanics couldn t hear what me, an amateur did. I filed a complaint and I will NEVER recommend going here for suspension issues. I m extremely upset I wasted more than half a thousand on resolving nothing!

Came in with a tire vibration and a pull to the right they did an alignment never touched the tire it still pulls and vibrates 123.00 dollars later lied right to my face about checking the tire when I watched the entire process don t go here.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Great job. Had 8: 30 a.m. appointment to fix steering issues. Call rolled into the service bay at 8: 31. Problem quickly accessed and fixed by mechanics. In and out in about an hour and no more sterring issues. Thanks . Great job.
