SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE!After 10 days of ownership, I have found the Service Department to be inept and unhelpful.I received a phone call advising that the second key fob for my new car had arrived. I drive from Houston to Galveston to pick it up and have it programmed.I read several articles on various GM related sites that advised this process normally takes 15 to 20 minutes. After one hour of waiting, I approached a service writer and requested that he check on the status of my key fob programming. Without getting off of his lazy but, he said Should be any time now. I had asked him to CHECK ON THE STATUS. I did NOT ask for him to give me his personal estimate.I waited 20 more minutes, only to be told that the computer is having problems with syncing the key fob. I had them bring my car back to me. I left and called the number for the SERVICE MANAGER only to receive his voice mail. I left a message of urgency, and have STILL NOT RECEIVED a reply.UPDATE 10/27/23, 4:20PM:After repeated calls to Service Manager Tony and leaving voice mail messages, I have not received the courtesy of a return phone call. It is painfully obvious to me that they DO NOT TAKE SERVICE SERIOUSLY.I will be moving my service center to another Cadillac Dealer.

I had a great experience dealing with Jeff Johnson at classic Cadillac. He was very professional and sent me all the requested pricing information before I visited the dealership. He was very clear on the breakdown of the price and my request for no additional add on. He and Terry in the finance department stayed late due to my late drive from Houston to pick up the Cadillac Lyriq.

My mother in law was at a dealership in Friendswood and they tried to high ball her. We called Classic Auto Group from that awful place and lucked up and spoke with Royce at Classic Auto Group. Told him the shenanigans that was going and he told us to come see him. Everything he told us on the phone is exactly what took place at Classic Auto Group. Customer service was excellent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Royce is an upstanding dude and stands on his word. If you re looking for a new vehicle . This is the way!

No one helps, and if you chase someone down, they doubt know anything. It's the only real dealership on the island, and it shows in their lack of efforts.
