When I bought my coffee at this store at 8:30 this morning, I told David the cashier that the pour-down creamers were both out. He was staffing the place by himself and I could not tell if he took this feedback seriously.I know from my own experience of running a store like this full-time for a year that it's pretty hard to pay attention to details like that when you are also running the cash register.When I went back to refill my coffee 40 minutes later, I thought to myself There is no way those creamers have been filled up yet. But they had!I said to Desiree, who at this point was running the cash register, how impressed I was about this. She was impressed also. I don t know how he got away from the cash register to do that. Attaboy David! Good multitasking, attention to detail, and high standards. I sensed that Desiree was a very easy-going fun person and I made bold to tease and banter with her like you would with a guy. She rolled with all that marvelously. I told her that being able to banter with customers is also an important customer service skill if you re going to work in a joint like this.She agreed and appreciated the compliment.I have liked Circle K stores since I encounterd my first one in Louisville Kentucky in June 2021. I had never seen them before in North Carolina - but they seem to be everywhere I go since then (except Chicago, where I am told there are some but I never saw one).I love almost everything about Circle K stores. I seek them out even when, like in this situation in downtown touristy Galveston, there are maybe four gas station/convenience stores within half a block of each other.

There's not much to share. I needed a few items that I was able to locate quickly. I purchased them at a price I thought reasonable and exited the establishment. Their bussiness model works.

My absolute favorite management team on the island! This store is great! Best had prices, especially with the easy pay discount.

They don t have any window cleaning fluid at the pumps. The container is dry.

Change your hours!!! You are NOT 24 hours. Showed up at 11:53pm and the doors were locked. On a Friday night.. ridiculous

Quick check out once you're at the register. Very cluttered and not much room to walk. Lots of people. Not to clean. Bathroom was out of order as well.

dude who works in the back (i assume he s the manager) is pretty rude. there was no one on the floor and i needed help figuring out how to use the self checkout to buy something behind the counter. he kept saying i should just figure it out but eventually agreed to help me.as he was checking me out, he started ranting about how people are scared of technology and should just learn instead of being lazy . I stood up for myself but wasn t disrespecting him, so I don t believe his animosity was warranted. there were also other people in the store, making the whole thing very embarrassing.i just feel bad for this man s coworkers lol

We CHOOSE this circle K as our go to place more than once a day. We have for many many years. In part it s close to home, but we have 4 other gas stations to choose from. We enjoy and appreciate the staff.Lately things have gone down hill. That location is ALWAYS busy. There is absolutely no reason, other than greed, to have one clerk on at a time. They can barely breath let alone restock things or tend to the restroom, for that matter go to the restroom.I ve seen y all loose so many potential sales behind this. Past 2 days they have been out of cigarettes and apparently management hasn t bothered to restock or order properly. Ive personally brought them $55 in quarters and dimes because whoever is in charge doesn t seem to understand a holiday weekend in Galveston requires serious planning.I have been in the service industry over 20 years. Ive managed businesses and owned my own. It s VERY obvious the issue is from the top down. You have good people working but they are over worked and overwhelmed. Whoever is in charge doesn t care. If I, as a customer can see that, why can t people in charge see that?The Russians have a saying, the fish goes bad at the head. Think about it.Y all really need to step it up. You d be able to keep people longer if you ran the store better.It s also a safety issue leaving on employee on during a volume time. Is money more important than their lives?

The island is famous for terrifying bathrooms. This one is the same. There were 5 people working when I went in.. there s no reason for this.

Not open 24 hours as advertised. Don t waste your time for late nights. They might not be open2 months later. Still - lies about being open. Go across street

We really needed to stop, or we would have chosen another location. There was debris all around, and the place appeared to be dirty on the exterior. We walked in and while the place looked dirty, I think it was just old, and having seen a lot of traffic, it may not have been as dirty as it looked. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were stocked with necessities, but could have used a little attention. Overall, not too bad.

Again tonight, 10/19 at 1:40am, the lights are on, no signs on the door and it s all locked up- can someone please figure this out?!?1am- store fully lit up and suppose to be open, but doors are locked and no one is there. If you re going to close you should turn off the lights HUGE waste of time

Good n quick stop. Clean restrooms, always got what i need in stock, a huge variety of food n snacks, cheap fountain drinks, and the coffee?? Well, you'll just have to try for yourself folks!!

Terrible!! One of the cashier's chased me down thinking I had stole a coffee and doughnuts. When in reality, I paid for it as soon as I walked in, and then dressed my coffee to not be in the way during morning rush hours when ppl are trying to get in and out and begin their Day, or head to work.Cashier was guy with black hair

This review is based on 2 visits to this store on 6/18/2017 at 8 PM and 6/19/2017 at 10 PM. This is a typical neighborhood convenience store. Nothing special. There are 3 other conveniences stores on neighboring corners across the street. The employee on 6/19/2017 was unable to ring up my items from the right side of the cash register. He made me pick up all of my items and walk around the corner of the counter top to the left side of the register. The employee was actually too lazy to pick up the items and scan from the opposite side of the register. Wow. Just wow.

Stopped in at 628 Broadway in Galveston yesterday to fuel up and get some snacks. The employee was standing outside smoking a cigarette. When asked how he was doing, he said he was fine until we came up because we interrupted his smoke break. He was not very professional at all

Was my favorite store in the area, until my card information got stolen twice in 2 weeks. After renewing my card, the first transaction I made was here and 4 days later I got 2 "corner store" charges for $100 on the other side of Houston. After locking my card 2 more transactions happened an hour later attempting to do it again, but failed because I reacted so quickly. Beware of these gas pumps everyone... I lost a total of $400 and my bank is very slowly trying to fix it.

Not a 24hr store. Went at 12:40pm not opened. Please update store hours. Went to Chevron across the street they were open. No bathroom available when opened.

Good service great people fast and efficient love the gas prices here however the pumps jump so maybe someone needs to address that because after I left I had to add gas treatment to my vehicle

This is a shady place, especially at night. We stopped to go to the bathroom on our way to the port and there was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk right in front of the building. It's dark, poorly lit, and dirty. Never again.

This place was a Valero before Circle K acquired Corner Store. I grew up in Oklahoma, so I am familiar with Circle K's. I am not sure how long Circle K has been in Texas or how much of the market they hold here, but they have always been a solid convenient store. This one falls right in line with that.

Omg people can be so ignorant. I am fifty yrs old and I sent my 22 yr old daughter who had ID by the way to get me sum cigs but because my daughters girlfriend was with her just standing there and she didn't have ID on her the lady wouldn't sell them to her. So I go in a minute later to get the cigs myself she wouldn't sell them to me either. I mean really lady get a clue. Maybe your employees need a refresher course on the TBAC test. Idiots!

The staff at this Valero make you feel you are family. The store is very clean. You can get large fountain soda for $0.79

Over priced but the attendants are always enjoyable. Great place for convenient snacks, drinks, has and little ins and outs typical of conveinent stores.

Fine during the day , but at night sometimes they lock the store up when there supposed to be open and don't let anyone in . Not okay .

Late night\early morning store is locked but attendant shops for you, brings items to register and sends them to you via a drawer. Friendly and helpful.

I will never go back to valero again I went in there last Tuesday and ciggarettes were 6 something than I went in there on Friday and ciggarettes were 7 dollars and something and the older lady that was working in the morning was very room had an attitude and look at me like I was crazy I have never been so disrespected like she did me she was very very rude

Until recently the staff have all been amazing...recently they have hired some that do not own up to that...one girl is constantly on her cell phone...making you wait while she finishes her text...so unprofessional...would have given 5 stars if she wasn't there...
