Just had a BDS/Fox 3 inch lift installed on my 21 Tundra at Lone Star 4x4. Great team to work with and quality work! They gave me multiple options to choose from and their recommendation was what I went with. Very happy I did. The price and timeline to complete everything was spot on. I highly recommend them.

Had ladder rack installed on Ford Transit Van. Took it to 3 places for quotes before Lonestar. Best quote I got was 1,500 dollars. They installed it for 277 dollars! Service was great, communication was great, and quality of work was great!

Great work. They installed my roof rack and wheel spacers on my jeep. They also asked for approval before cutting into the frame. I highly recommend this shop!

Update: had 3 in front 1in rear done in May. photos are correct my truck is 2020 year modle that is mud not rust...I travel for work and will not be going out of my way to have you fix what you should have done right the first time.Had them put on a 3 inch lift on my 2020 Ram 3500 a few months back. Did the service quick but I notice the front spacers are not bolted to the struts or housing. They just sit there. Off roading I notice they move around. I wish they used proper lift kits that BOLT ON....would highly suggest them NOT to sell this type of lift. Going to find another shop and have them completely remove and replace this lift system...

I have a lifted 2500 GMC , i took it to a shop in Lewisville. After months of not getting what i paid for and dealing with an improper install of suspension parts, i took my Truck to James at Lone Star 4x4 in Gainesville TX. He has done such a great job and put me back on the road with a few awesome upgrades. Check out the ADD bumper and New Lights! He was able to get a set of 40" tires in under a week. Full Set of Fox shocks in a day. Found major issues left untouched by another shop. Just a great experience. He whole team are great people: Mona is awesome in the office. If you need a mechanic for custom work or just basic repair, let James and his team provide you a great experience and quality work.Make sure the Lone Star Shop is the one in Gainesville TX, not Lewisville.

Terrible experience. Asked for a body mount chop on my Tundra. When I showed up they had cut up my front bumper as well. They also did not weld anything over the body mount chop even for 300$ which most shops do for that price. Pretty much asking for rust. If I would have know they were gonna do a hackjob with an angle grinder I would have done that myself. Terrible shop. Hope others had better experiences. I m guessing mine was so bad because I m young and they wanted to take advantage of me.

They did a great job installing my air bag system. I'm very pleased. Update! I brought my new truck in to get a leveling kit when I got it back the front was taller than the rear so it has the Carolina squat thing going on. Didn't get a call back the first three times I called them finally on the 4th time I called they told me to bring the truck in but it seems like they're trying to blame it on the tires. I will update this review once the situationis handled.

This is an excellent all around shop. From me first inquiring about services through the website, the owner was extremely quick at replying and set me up for an appointment that worked for my schedule. He was honest about his shop being busy and we worked out the best possible time.The Shop Manager was great to deal with over the phone and he was honest about what he was doing. I was having issues with my truck not driving straight and it was not all related to the alignment. Instead of just taking apart everything, he started with the least labor involved product and kept working until the issue was determined. He was able to figure out the issue and kept me informed the whole time with the repairs.For any type of services, Lone Star 4x4 is the place to go. The front staff are extremely nice and it flows throughout the entire shop.

The folks at the shop were exceptional in every way. First, they were incredibly responsive and made time for me to get an installation done a few days before my children were born. In fact, given the circumstances, they made it work the next day. The quality of work is second to none as well. Second, they performed extremely clean installs for light bars and other wiring. Finally, their fabrication skills are exceptional, and best of all, their prices are reasonable.To my knowledge, their technicians have been the only folks that have been able to mount a light bar in the hood scoop of a 5th generation 4Runner, and my truck is literally one of a kind thanks to their work. Anyone looking for installation or fabrication work should consider the team at Lone Star. They even stayed late each time I scheduled work to make sure it was done to my liking. I challenge anyone to find another shop where the technicians care as much about the quality of the finished product. Thank you to the entire a Lone Star team for the work you have done to date and I look forward to finishing my 4Runner build with you next weekend.

Very pleased with these guys ! They fixed the death wobble on my Ford F-350 and made my truck look even better than before. I Highly recommend them if you want a quality job done on your vehicle. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

We took our new F150 here to have a lift, wheels and tires done. Excellent, excellent job. Jon the owner will patiently meet with you, go over recommendations clearly and let you decide what you want. From the low end to the highest end he will offer and go over the pros and cons of all of them. We couldn't be happier with how our truck turned out. Great family and veteran owned business. I was not paid or given any discount to give my review, just a very happy customer.

Really nice Professional people doing high quality work. I only met Taylor and Jon. I was having a 2" leveling kit installed on my F-150 Super crew. My wife had to run to get our Granddaughter, so I was left w/o a ride home. Jon came to the rescue and gave me a lift to my house.When my truck was ready, I was called, and picked up my vehicle. I love the new stance with the front raised two inches. All in all, I was really pleased with the friendly atmosphere, the low price, and the high quality of the workmanship. They simply cannot be beat!

Had some shoring up to do on my Jeep lift components, along with an alignment. These guys went above and beyond to ensure everything was buttoned up and operating normally. So glad I took it the experts at Lonestar 4x4. Jeep rides better than ever!

Nothing but quick and professional service from this outfit. Lots of product knowledge and over the top service made the transition from stock to bad ass a dream. Love the way my 2500 looks and performs now. I have found my go to garage for all my personal and work vehicles. Thanks for the effort and quality work guys!

These place is the best. Turned my scratched dented truck bed into new again, bed liner looks crazy good! Very nice and professional staff, Taylor welcomed me not even 2 secs when I walked in the door. Tech Luis took just a few mins of his time to come out and and explain a few things. I was having trouble getting a seal on an outer axle so I took it to these guys. They had me fixed up in about 15 minutes. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also had some really cool rigs they were building and working on. Will definitely be going back.

I was extremely impressed by the customer service from the Lone Star staff. The only thing that exceeded the service was the results. If you're looking for jeep or truck mods in the DFW area, this is your place. Pricing is competitive and your vehicle will come out looking meaner and performing better.My F-150 was revamped and I could not be happier!

This business is not bad but not to customer friendly in terms of staffing. I walked in to order a bed cover for my 2016 Nissan Titan XD platinum reserve. 2500.00 for the cover not installed. Ok I wanted the cover so it was ordered only to find out the ordered cover will not fit a Titan XD. The owner had written my number down wrong and said he left several messages. I had to make several trips to the shop to figure out what was going on with the cover. On the order form was my number. I still needed a cover for my truck so a Undercover was ordered to the time of 3 weeks to come in. The cover will be painted to match my truck. The owner took a picture of the vin plate to ensure the correct paint was ordered. All good so far. I get a call the cover is in but was asked again if I can take a picture of the vin plate again and pictures of the truck to make sure they will match. Not a big problem but a little odd. Double checking Is good I guess. Ok so I'm here today to have the cover installed. Being told it will only be an hour here it is going on 3 and not done yet. As I'm sitting here the owner is the only one here to assist customers. A gentleman and his wife walk in to order a leveling kit for their truck. Another customer comes in the owner tells him I'll be with you in 15 minutes or I can help you now. The gentleman said he would wait. 45 minutes go by and still with the same customer the gentleman leaves. Two other customer walk in get no service because the owner is still with the other customers going on an hour now. I understand people are making a decision to alter their vehicle and may not know a lot on the subject. I'm all for good customer service but in the mean time you are losing business by not having the staff. Bad customer service to say the least it is Saturday staff properly my opinion only. I am owed a refund on my credit card I am told by the owner he does not know how to credit my card and his wife will take care of it on Monday. There's a thousand dollars owed to me but I have to wait until Monday. The owner is not a bad guy he apologized to me for the inconvenience I have gone through. I would expect a little more from a business owner. Again the shop is close to my residence I need a cover for my truck so I went with this business. Overall 4 stars. I can say the cover was beautifully painted to match the truck color. I cannot speak of the quality of work otherwise having only ordered a bed cover. A little frustrating but nothing I can't overcome. Some may find this review a little harsh but it is an honest review of my experience. I would recommend Lone Star to friends and family.

Had truck leveled. Paid extra for allignment that didn't happen, had to pay again the next day to another shop to have it aligned. They stripped a lug nut, they didn't think it was important to replace or tell me about it. Just stuck it in my console. When I called them on it five minutes after leaving, was pretty much told, it was good five minutes ago? Other shop told me their was no way I. Hell they aligned it! Owned and operated by veterans? I hope not

Outstanding experience with Lone Star 4X4. Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous through my install. Thank you to Chris and the entire staff as LS4X4 for my Zone 3" installation on my 2006 Silverado 2500HD. Truck rides great, handles better than ever and looks amazing! If you are looking for Heavy Duty lift kit installations bring your rig to these guys.

I spent $650 for an install of oem gears and an LSD. (Pricey, but not a big deal to me if the job is done right) Chris, who is no longer with them told me Lone Star 4x4 warennted ANY LABOR on the parts even if they failed because the parts are made by mopar. lsd is an auburn which is a good reputable brand also.. nothing I purchased was Cheap and Chris knew it, which is why he said no charge labor for ANYTHING that goes wrong. Chis told me if WE TOUCH IT IT'S COVERED which is the reason I decided to give them the work.[parts will obviously not be covered because I purchased them my self and will have to deal with the vendors i purchased them from to redeem warrantees.] Lone star 4x4 did not offer any type of aftermarket LSD for the ZF axel I have on my Ram 1500 at the time i had this work done Nor did they supply OEM gears from mopar.My lsd spider gears went out 2 months later and since Chris wasn't there they didn't honor the warranty and charged me another $500 in labor to change out the lsd with another unit I supplied and Jon was trash talking my decision to use an auburnLSD he said they were cheap and terribly made. Then Jon said he will only charge me 500 for the installation like he pitied me.(Auburn gear has a great reputation and make great USA built lockers and LSDs. 685 dollars for my auburn isn't cheap jon!)I was out of town and my girlfriend went to pick up the vehicle. When I arrived home and examined my truck it looked like something exploded in the shop and doused the passenger side of my in oil. I also noticed they put 20 miles on my truck and fuel economy was at 17.8mpg when i dropped it off when I received my truck it was at 14.6mpg avg. the bed had oil all over it along with muddy foot prints. they probably drove my truck like it was a NASCAR/Baja truck. Even one of the techs at the shop was bragging how my truck launches like a mule from a stand still which pissed me off beyond belief.Now after all this bull**** my rear end is Whining EXTREMELY loud at highway speeds. these people are jokes and they treat customer vehicles like trash. I'm going to a different shop to fix the mess they made. I will definitely warn anyone I know wanting work on their vehicles NOT to come to this place.thanks a bunch Jon!*UPDATE*after having another shop look at my truck they said the loud whining was because the Pinon was not set right on the gear and they recommend but not mandatory that i should replace the gear because of the uneven wear. They also found a lot of metal shavings in the axel. Metal shavings were from lone star 4x4 not properly clearing out metal Durbs when I had the LSD replaced by them when spider gears went out. I may need my whole rear axel rebuilt now because of Lone Star 4x4.All in all I'm out almost 2k with parts and labor because of Lone Star 4x4s poor installation. That 2k doesn't include getting new parts and paying somone to do it right along with maybe having to have my rear axel reconditioned.. I HOPE this review makes people THINK TWICE about getting mechanical work done by this shop. This experience has been a total nightmare.. a very expensive one...

Just dropped off my 2nd truck in 2 weeks with these guys today! They are awesome, thorough, and extremely honest. I am very picky about who works on my business and personal trucks and these guys are the best in Denton! I will be a customer for life!
