Every experience with Stonebriar Auto Service & Repair has always been amazing, after picking up a vehicle that immediately needed a new motor and not being able to get in touch with the repairman for several weeks I took my car to Stonebriar because of a funny noise they took a look at it and instantly n knew what the problem was and pulled car around to fix it and if that wasn t enough stellar service they didn t even charge needless to say it took away all my fear and stress I had been feeling for weeks not getting in touch with the other repair place. My husband always bring our others cars here and the service is A+++ and everyone so nice and always professional I just love this place won t go anywhere else to service our cars.

I simply called for a quote and timeframe services would take and I was told to come in and I d be taken care of in 30min! I headed over and was greeted in the parking lot as I pulled in. I was immediately taken care of and with the kindest most respectful professionalism as well. The waiting room is very nice and clean and also has a play area for children. Nice perk! Highly recommend.

I arrived right before they closed on a Saturday and they didn t hesitate to take care of me. Long overdue for an oil change and heading out on a road trip I was so relieved. Was pricey compared to some other places yet customer service and professionalism top notch and justified price.

Dropped my vehicle off at this location on 2/13 due to my car powering off when it s idling and to have my tank looked into because I was unable to pump gas full speed without the pump stopping every 4 seconds which take me longer to fill up my tank to full. Upon arrival I informed them I had warranty and provided the details to the front desk gentleman and I would get a call in the morning with the diagnosis. The next day I never received a call back from Mark. I called later that evening and he stated that they resolved the issue with the car shutting off, it appeared to have been loose cables on the battery. They still didn t have an update on the tank. I stopped by that evening and he Informed me that they were going to replace my whole gas tank and it should be ready 2/15 and he informed me he forgot I was a warranty customer and would have to call them the next morning because they closed at 5. 2/15 I received a call and said he had spoke to the warrant company and it should be ready later that day . On 2/15 I stopped by around 5pm and my vehicle still had not been worked on because the part was delayed from Ram Plano. I told them since the power off issue was resolved, I ll bring my truck back when the new tank gets in. It s 2/16 and I drove my truck a hour and half down the highway this morning to an appointment and when I got back in to drive, it powered off at the light. Immediately called Mark. He stated that the issue was fix with the lowering off but did not test it by driving it a few miles to see if it was actually fixed because it don t have any gas in the vehicle and they were waiting to the tank replacement came in . To ensure the vehicle was safe and it would not power off while driving without even confirming or testing the issue is unacceptable. The company prioritizes speedy vehicle repair over ensuring the underlying issue is thoroughly addressed, potentially leading to recurring problems. This business sits behind a gas station. I m very dissatisfied and disappointed. I was told Mark manager was in a meeting and he would call me. I hope this company reaches out and rectifies this issue immediately.

Very decent and professional to work with. I liked how they serve their customers, Mark helped me quickly check in for a/c check on one of my 20 yrs old car. I would recommend this business for your car repairs and state inspections.Giving 4 stars since I had to go there twice to get cabin filter replaced which they were unable to replace at the first time, also they were looking at incorrect place on my model of the car where it should be changed, it was a pain. Otherwise they're good at listening to customer's concerns. Thank you!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Air conditioning

Late last summer I took my car in to get the brakes repaired. They replaced the master cylinder and booster and charged well over a thousand. Then this spring I had to have the transmission repaired. When the transmission shop test drove the car they found that the brakes were dragging severely and that the brake lights weren t even working so, they asked if they could take a look at them. They found that the booster wasn t installed correctly and had been forced in at such an improper angle that it was now broken as well as the master cylinder which was barely over 6 months old. They had to replace both parts because they were severely damaged from the poor installation. When I called Stonebriar to see if I could get my money back they said that I should have brought it back to them (I didn t because I didn t want to risk any damage to my transmission and of course I wanted my brake lights working) so they refused to work with me in any way and then said that they would have the owner call me but of course he never did. STAY AWAY from this place!Edit: The message in the reply said to email them my complaints about all the problems I experienced and its been over a week and I never received a reply, this place is an ABSOULTE SCAM, don't bother coming.

Update:Jan 24The owner of Stonebriar reached out to me to apologize for what happened. He sounded very sincere in his apology and said that was not the Stonebriar way. I made it clear that it was not the $60 I had to pay but what is right and fair and the possible next person where $60 is the difference between eating or not.He confirmed that I was fully justified in feeling the way I did and that he had a discussion with the staff outlining that is not the way they are to do business. As such I will be raising my review to 4 stars for now. I do truly hope this was a one-off incident and in time this review will rise again to 5 stars.--==Jan '24==--I m really bummed to write this review. I enjoy finding places I can do business with that I trust and this was one of those places. I have been doing business with Stonebriar Auto Service for around 3 years now. The first service they did was a rear brake job and I was very pleased with the whole process and everyone involved. Since that time, they have earned my trust and have done all my service. That leads to today.I came in to the shop knowing I needed to get my front brakes done. While I was there, I requested I get my oil done and I had noticed I have some corrosion build up on my battery. I asked while it was in could they clean the corrosion off my battery. They do the work and I pay the bill and go home. When I get home I see they charged me $60 (General Labor of 0.4 @ $150) to clean the battery terminals. Please keep in mind I had just spent over $800 in real service items. I could see it being $10 for the trouble but $60 to clean corrosion off my battery terminals during a hood up $500+ repair?I went back up to the shop and the manager told me that s what we are told to charge by the higher ups and we use tools and chemicals.. I really don t know much about modern cars.. but I am VERY aware of the effort and tools involved in cleaning standard lead acid battery terminals.I really thought I had found a gem in Stonebriar Auto. A place that I could take my car and trust the people were going to do what needed to be done at a fair price. Not have to shop around, not have to ask for a line item estimate before the work. I was wrong and that sucks and I feel stupid for trusting them now.I will probably still use them for some repairs as they have not given me reason to not trust their repair work. But now they are just another stereotypical auto repair place that I m going to feel like a mark when I walk in the door and they are going to see how much money they can scam out of me.

Today, I came to the service center in the evening to ask few questions about my car. I didn t realize in the dark and entered from the wrong way. It was my mistake, but a guy from the service center rather asking me to back up started screaming at me even when I stopped my car. I was in a shock. It took me a while to realize. The guy was soo.. rude, he kept on screaming at the peak of his voice. It was so embarrassing. I will never come to this place again.

This place is amazing! I came here for an inspection (after being told by another place that my car couldn t pass because of a light) and they discovered there wasn t an issue with the lights and were able to do the inspection quickly! I was unable to get my registration done before my inspection expired so I came back for them to re-complete it and they were just as amazing! The customer service is friendly, quick, and honest.

Strongly recommend Stonebriar Auto Service to any Tesla owner (or any vehicle owner in general). We ve known these guys since before they opened a few years ago and they have never disappointed. They have GREAT prices and their service is top notch. Inspections for my Model 3 take about 10-15 minutes. We ve also had them service other non-electric vehicles and we ve been extremely happy. Tell them Ryan and Edgar sent you!

Plugged the ECU on my toyota avalon into the wrong ground after doing $1500 worth of work and it caused the car to throw oxygen sensor codes. Took it back twice for them to make it right, they made it worse. Wanted $800 to replace oxygen sensors claiming they were bad. We said no and did the work ourselves, only to discover a broken wire and a wrench left in the car along with replacing the sensors not fixing the issue. Ultimately the cause of the issue is the ground for the ECU plugged into the wrong place by the shop and we're 600$ plus into fixing a problem that they created. We'd be $800 plus if we had authorized them to do more work and it would not have solved it. Will not return and will not recommend.

Excellent customer service and waiting area. I went for a walk-in State Inspection. In and out quickly and they brought the car out to the front entrance - nice touch! I'll come to these guys for an oil change too. If you have any car mods you need installing, these guys could do it as well. They have a loyalty program for repeat customers.

CJ wouldn t accept the coupon they have posted online on their website. He said their owner will only take coupons printed on paper, but then the website doesn t mention that! CJ said they have no control over their website. Seems lame. CJ said the paper coupon prevents people from reusing the same coupon again, but then someone could just print multiples copies of the same coupon and use it. Not sure how not accepting a coupon via phone (when most companies are trying to go paperless) prevents that. Furthermore, CJ was attempting to scare me into paying $1,000+ for a new coolant thermostat. He said my car would fail a state test and also he wouldn t feel comfortable with letting me drive it. I told him I wanted to get a second opinion and I don t think he liked hearing that. Charged me $119 for an oil change while the price posted on their wall is $80. Anyway, all in all, not a pleasant experience dealing with CJ and his pressure tactics.

I changed oil in both of our cars. The lobby is nice, and the employees are friendly. He price is competitive value.I got a little problem with my second car. After they change the oil, I came across an oil leak. I stopped by the shop, and they looked at the issue. I m waiting on the result, at the lobby, at this moment.

Stonebriar Auto Service & Repair,Adriane & Jon Owners far exceeded my expectations from the moment I met with them to discuss repairs on my truck. Honest and friendly staffs. My car wouldn t start and they gladly helped me without charging a dime. I asked about getting a replacement battery and the staff was honest and reminded me that I should check with the dealership to see if it was still under warranty. I would definitely bring my car back here for future services!

My jeep didn't pass inspection due to the emergency brake not having its hold. I took it to 2 auto shops before finding Stonebriar, per recommendation from a friend. This shop was night and day from the other two places. The first place had given me an appointment time for two days later, 9am. When I showed up on appt day, I was told their master mechanic wasn't going to be in until 11am.I proceeded to take it to another auto shop closer to where I live for the sake of convenience. They gave me a laundry list of problems, only one being the emergency brake, which they recommended replacing for $1200! I wasn't gonna do that, so I got a third opinion from Stonebriar. It was so refreshing to have an honest opinion and people that weren't trying to nickel and dime me. They fixed me up same day, no appt needed and my jeep passed!! Highly recommend this auto shop!

Updated 2024: This place has gone down hill with new ownership and new management. Went in Tuesday 4/2 in the morning. I was the only one there and it took them 1.5 hours to do my oil change. At one point I saw 4 guys leaning against my truck while one person put oil in it.Then they tried to tell me I needed to have the power steering and brake fluid changed. I just lifted the truck and put new brake lines on myself, I know for a fact the brake fluid was brand new. I also overheard them trying to convince someone on the phone to replace a water pump when they only needed a thermostat. @ $1700.I would rather go to the dealer. Ford dealer would include a tire rotation for what these guys charged for an oil change, and the dealer will follow the maintenance schedule instead of lying to your face about work you need.2020 Had an inspection done on my Corvette. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was in and out quickly. The lobby is very nice. Not at all what you would expect from a mechanic shop. It rivals a high end car dealership but without the hours of waiting.
