Had my brakes flushed on my 2011 BMW X3 at Pep Boys. Manager took care of me. Technician performed the flush and done in 45 minutes. Brakes work better. Very happy with service.

I'm pretty disappointed in how I was treated this evening. I realize after leaving dinner at 6:30 that I had a screw in my tire. At that point the only option was pep boys. I called them and told them I was on my way but the gentleman who answered the phone quickly told me he was with a customer and he put me on hold. I took the chance and headed out for the 3.5 Mile drive.When I arrived I was not greeted at all but yet stood there in their lobby still on hold for another 15 or 20 minutes.At that point I got the gentleman's attention that was checking a customer out asking him if there's any way possible I could get my tire fixed because I was having to drive all the way back up towards Denton home with my kid.He told me that they had already shut everything down and that he would not be able to help me.I even asked him if he would be willing to help me change my spare as I was there pretty much helpless.He told me he was not able to do so... (Now mind you they haven't closed yet...it's about 7 mins till they do) That's when a very kind customer sitting in the lobby told me that he would help me. If it wasn't for the customer I would have definitely been stranded 40 miles away from home.The guy at the register told me I could leave my car there and they could fix it in the morning but like I said I told him I was 40 miles away from home and had to get back. Even knowing my situation he wasn't willing to go above and beyond.So since it was a big sign on their door that said to give them a five-star rating on Google I felt it was only necessary to properly review this location. I will not be visiting any pep boys anytime soon.Disappointed to say the least. I wonder if the guy working would ever let that happen do his girlfriend, his sister, wife or his mom...Instead I drove home on several freeways going 50 mph with my hazards on scared out of my mind.... With all these lights on my dash

Brought for an appointment which arrived on time for a simple tire rotation and balance the tires. Asked time to do the service, responded 45min to an hour. Total time approximately 2 hours. Each time asked how long, info provided was wheel to be torqued and 1 more to go . Others which arrived with appointments had to leave due to not having folks to work or folks that would be leaving soon. Last time that I ll bring my vehicle here.

Can I give zero stars... ordered tires from tire rack , tires arrived at their distro across town in one day, had appointment,for following day... 2 days later they haven't managed to change the tires so I came to sit here and wait for it, I've been sitting here for 3 hrs now and they have one tire complete so far... definitely will not return, would not recommend

So understaffed they can't even answer a phone call after being on hold for over 10 minutes. When I did get someone to ask about the complete coolant flush package, they acted like they knew what it was, when they clearly didn't, which is worse then just being honest about that. Between this store and the one on spring creek, sketchy as hell to be honest. they're understaffed, lie to you multiple times, completely sketchy.

1) Initially booked appointment in Online and same is confirmed and once went to shop, they informed me online booking are not getting reflected in their store system and asked me to come again on another time with new appointment booking from the in-store; they told its a known issue, that online appointment are not reflecting in store system, Its completely waste of time for me to take my car and wait over there.2) Requested for Engine diagnosis with Frisco pep boys store ; In online it shows $89.99 for service ; but in-store they charged me $99.99 and not ready to honor the price given in website.

I had an appointment for four new tires. Now I have been to Discount Tire and other places and I only went to Pep Boys for the Black Friday sale on tires. I was expecting to be in and out in an hour however two hours and twenty five minutes later my vehicle finally had four new tires. I didn t get the alignment just four tires and balancing. Over two hours is a bit ridiculous when discount tire can replace four tires in less than 30 minutes. Someone came in for a battery replacement and they told him 2.5 hours

I came in yesterday, 2/6, and they told me that it would take about 3 hours to get an oil change so I made an appointment for today, 2/7, at 11:30am this morning.They didn t bring my truck in the bay to start until 12:32pm. Why tell people to make an appointment??? I was expecting this oil change to take 30 minutes max. It took almost two hours till they finished. There is NO urgency at this place and NO communication with their customers. I will take my business elsewhere next time, for something as easy as an oil change. Really bad experience. I wouldn t recommend this place.

Went in to get 4 new tires and was told they were out of stock. They said they could order them from the other store and would be in the next day. Just called a week later and still waiting. Terrible service, I could have just went to discount tire if I wanted to wait forever and a day... or at this point a week. Bad business on pep boys part.

What can I say I had an exceptional service experience with PepBoys I am super glad I got my lifetime Alignment on my Model Y with them over Firestone. I will be coming to this PepBoys to get lifetime Alignment on my other Tesla model 3 as well. It was like night and day experience from dealing with Firestone to PepBoys. Firestone always says they have one tech that can do alignments on Teslas and sometimes that person is off or whatever. So they can t do it and Prosper store wouldn t offer lifetime Alignment on my Tesla. So, when I called PepBoys they told me that wouldn t be a problem I came in around 3 car was done in about an hour (I had dropped it off expecting 3/4 hours) everything was great! Highly recommend! Btw my alignment on the car is Fantastic. Happy client.

I was the only one there originally. I thought it would take 30 minutes max. It took over a hour just for them to realize they couldn t fix the leak in the tire and give me my car back. It s like everyone has no urgency. I need to get back to work.

Very time consuming... you would still wait even after having appointment. They made me to wait 30 mins to get my car. After inspection, the advisor took almost an hour to provide me the quotation. The quotation prices are 40% higher than competitors. Atlast choosen couple of filters to be replaced for faster service and they made to wait for 45 mins and still the filters didn't arrive. Had to cancel everything, pay for inspection and has to come out of the place with a huge disappointment. It took almost 3.5 hours for nothing. The suspension inspection is free in most of the competitor stores where as it is chargeable in PepBoys. Overall the first experience with them itself is very bad and I wouldn't be returning. Very Horrible.

On 12/4/2023, we went to Pep Boys located at 9215 Warren Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034 and bought lifetime for $169.94 for wheel alignment for our MDX 2022. They did the wheel alignment but the guy did not tighten the toe rod bolt and nuts and not initially inform my wife. Immediately after few minutes of leaving, my wife observed all alarms go off and she returned to pep boys. They said that the toe rod nuts and bolts are not tightening and that they need to be replaced. When we have the car for wheel alignment, there was no issue with toe rod or bolts. We thought of wheel alignment as we got the new tires couple of weeks ago. They told we need to go to dealer to get them replaced and that they will be covered. They literally sent us on the road knowing full extent of danger of driving with no proper toe road and bolts in place. They failed to inform us that it is not safe to drive on the road. They only informed we need to go to dealer. After 3 weeks, we observed that the car is swinging left and right and we had to go to Acura dealership on 12/27/2023 and they checked and said that the toe road but and bolts were very loose and it s not safe to drive the vehicle. They needed to be replaced and they also said whoever did the wheel alignment caused the toe rod nuts and bolts damage. They had to order the replacement parts and they said it will be ready on 1/2/2024. They charged $482.05. We are very shocked with this whole experience and their disregard for safety of their customers.

The staffs were extremely helpful and had a great experience here. Helped me figure out what all was wrong with my car and did a great alignment. Would recommend this place to anyone who is having issues with their car.

Returned during warranty period, previous paperwork stated 12 month/12000 miles warranty for labor etc. Had vehicle in two weeks earlier with same problem, the replaced the rear brake pads and rotor, but not the front. The initial problem was a shake in the steering wheel when brakes are applied. Front brakes/rotors were replaced 5/2023, rear brakes/rotors 10/2023. Was charged for labor.

The answer to your question is YES! There ARE honest and capable mechanics, and I m pretty sure they all work for Pep Boys. Each location is better than the last. And the last is ALWAYS excellent. I am so grateful to Manager Rob S. for always taking care of me honestly and with integrity.In addition to being fair, the techs absolutely know what they re doing. Feel that cool air? Well YOU can t, but I do. After 7 years without air conditioning, Pep Boys Frisco inspected and repaired my a/c for less than the cost of the dealer inspection alone. Other shops told me it could be thousands of dollars. But on a hot Texas day, hitting 103 degrees, I waited only 35 minutes for relief and happiness. Best of all, I ve been to this shop 3 times and they are always prompt/timely with their services.

Very happy with the level of care at this Pep Boys store. They helped out with a small battery issue that I was having even though I did not have an appointment and had me back on the road in a short amount of time. 5 Stars!

I would not recommend this location if you the type to care about your car and how it drives/ want QUALITY service. Each time I have come in it has been trouble in one way or another. The first time, I came in to purchase and alignment. I purchased the lifetime alignment but that s not where the issue was. When I returned, they had no records of my purchase - OF COURSE I PAID CASH when I normally don t. They rectified this saying they fired the last manager who was stealing but I wanted the alignment corrected as it was not done right. I also had them to the wheel balance and paid for that. Once I got the car back the alignment was worse and it still had a slight shake. If you want someone to care about your car and get a quality repair, this is not the place for you.
