I recently went to Kwik Kar for a quick oil change before an unexpected trip to Houston. I was able to get in and out very quickly and the experience was very pleasant. The location I visited had recently upgraded the point of sale system and it was apparent that the technicians in the garage were still learning how to operate it. Although there was a slight delay getting cashed out after my vehicle was ready, the entire team was very apologetic for the wait. I understand the learning curve with new processes, and the acknowledgement from the entire team was very much appreciated. All it takes is a little communication to ease a customer and this location did that flawlessly!

Bert helped me from ruining my new year with quick fixes for the hanging splash guard.Kwik Kar at Preston Road team is going phenomenal and very customer centric.I am an entrepreneur, so I understand the value just like they do. I would recommend this place to everyone to fix their car or oil change.

I was the last car of the day, and I was still treated like they were just beginning their day. They were full of smiles and great customer service. I was greeted and treated with professionalism. They were very informative, and knowledgeable staff. There is nothing like having a neighborhood KwikKar that hit all the points of great customer service!

Christian and compnay did a phenomenal job on our vehicle! In and out within the specified time period and the waiting area was clean and comfortable! Top notch service all the way around! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! :)

I had some work done on spark plugs & wires January 16, 2024. The mechanics were able to get me in & out in about an hour. On top of that, they were lacking heat and it was super cold, yet they were able to get the job done fast & professionally, under severe conditions. I would trust them with my family's car needs and highly recommend them to others. Many thanks to Wilbert!

I ve been here a few times and each time the service has been amazing. Manager took the time to show me what I was looking at dealing with my battery to educate me in the future on what to look for. I m thankful for his honesty. Customer for life here!

Refused to do a motorcycle inspection because it had been lightly sprinkling outside right before I arrived. Manager was awful. Employee at the desk said he's just making it up because he doesn't know how to ride motorcycles. Went down the road to a different shop and was inspected and on my way in under 10 minutes. Don't go here.

They wouldn t give me the oil change that I wanted. I was not prepared to pay $99 for a synthetic oil change. and I didn t even have to have it today. The other guy even told me that getting a conventional oil change just this one time today since I didn t have, the money it would ve hurt anything. I googled this and it is not mandatory that I get a synthetic oil change and it wouldn t hurt me to get a regular conventional or oil change today since I wasn t prepared to pay 100 and something dollars so I guess the owner or the worker not sure, said that he would not do the conventional oil change on my car 2018 Nissan Murano so I guess he thought I was going to say OK go ahead and just do it I really did not have the money to pay for that synthetic oil change so there was no changing my mind. The first guy said that he could just write down that this is what I wanted so they could take the responsibility off of them, but the other guy refused to do the service that I wanted so I m a little pissed. And I guess he had every right to refuse it, but I won t be going back there anymore. Found it cheaper anyway for the synthetic oil change.

The service was quick, detailed, and polite! Yes, all oil change businesses try to upsell, because that's their business. I had a synthetic oil change because it required me to change the fluid less frequently hence less inconvenience and better performance. I have nothing but praise for their service. Just learn to say no when telling you something that might be true but you don't want to pay for. They honored the Senior's pricing as well which was a bonus! Highly recommend it because of the quickness of service. It would have been a nice extra if they vacuumed out the front seat floorboard.

I just had the best vehicle inspection experience of my life. I would typically never review getting a state inspection but they had me in and out within 15 mins and I never got out of my vehicle. Very impressed by the service and professionalism and make this not a hassle.

The manager's conduct is utterly unprofessional. There's a noticeable scent of liquor on the workers' breaths. When I brought in my bright red BMW for repairs, it returned with scratches all over from contact with walls and tools. Prior to this, I had just hand washed and dried my car with no scratches. When I requested to see the footage from the cameras, the manager claimed they were not functioning, raising suspicion. He told me earlier that cameras showed scratches. He blatantly lied to my face. Moreover, he had the audacity to suggest leaving my car there for further repairs, expecting me to foot the bill for Ubers due to their mistake. This is absolutely outrageous.

This location services all of my personal vehicles as well as my work trucks. I always receive great service. Friendly technicians and management. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I had just noticed an oil leak underneath my Audi before I came in and I had that sinking feeling in my stomach that told me I was about to have to spend several thousand dollars on *something*. At the very least, I was probably going to get raked over the coals by an opportunistic technician. But instead, the team here got underneath it and quickly noticed that the leak was coming from a faulty drain plug / crush washer. They performed the oil change and replaced the drain plug assembly for an extra $15. I don t know what kind of endorphins get released when you feel a huge amount of relief, but I was high on those after leaving. Thanks guys! I ll definitely be back!

Had to replace my battery cables. They got it replaced quite quickly but wonder why the positive cable wasn't red. Both new cables were black. I can figure out which is which in case I am jumping the car but what if someone else happens to jump the vehicle.

I went here for an oil change the other day, and I was watching them do my oil change as I spotted the manager taking out my air filter (that I just replaced a week prior) and rubbing it on top of the engine to make it dirty, he then came in and said sir when was the last time you replaced your air filter, it s very dirty . I then confronted him but he denied everything. Im never coming back here again, if I could give 0 stars, I would!

Good experience. I would say that on the previous oil change with my Ford Explorer that the technician incorrectly reported the mileage to CarFax when logging the information from my receipt. I missed the mistake when leaving after the oil change. I wasn t worried about this until I went to trade my vehicle with a dealership and they stated that the trade-in value was going to be lower because of the mileage inconsistency. I went back to Kwik Kar to get this corrected and unfortunately they couldn t correct the mistake. Korosh the manager did sign off on the receipt which I sent to CarFax to dispute the error. It was a pain to say the least. Surprised that such a mistake can t be corrected with Kwik Kar since they made the mistake.

On a previous review 7 months ago, I see a board with prices on it. This board was not in the lobby today. No posted prices anywhere, will charge whatever they want on oil changes. Advertise oil changes on the sign out front for $29.99, then employee says they are out of the conventional oil so they have to use synthetic blend and charge $52.99. OR the full synthetic blend would be about $84.99. Honestly, how do I know they are truly putting synthetic blend in my car if they advertise for something they don't have(conventional oil)? After this, I call other Kwik Kar Lubes and was informed they have conventional oil for a regular price of $49.99. With nothing posted inside the customer area, I guess Kwik Kar #8133 on Preston Rd can make up prices and install the cheaper oil without the customer being able to verify anything.Service: Oil change

I came in for an oil change and state inspection and was back on the road in less than 45 minutes. The entire staff was polite and courteous upon arrival thru my departure. I will definitely be back.

I'm on the fence about this location. I went in for an oil change, and they never asked what I would like. I was charged the most expenses service, and then they say they do a courtesy check on the vehicle systems. They checked everything as full and good. I know for a fact that was B.S. my fluid levels were all low, air filters dirty, my check engine light was on, my rear brakes needed to be changed, but hey, all looked good and no problems. So, I'm not even sure I got the top oil I was charged for. Can't say I will ever go back to this place again, and I don't recommend this location to anyone. Sorry guys, you lost my trust.

Was pretty standoffish but my truck broke down in the parking lot and I was truly blown away with the customer service and how honest and fast it was repaired. Wilbert was super helpful and transparent, even though I live 45 minutes away I ll come here for every service from now on. 10/10

I came here to get my oil changed because my car keeps telling me to. The helpful techs showed me that I didn't really need to change it despite what my car said. I had plenty of clean oil left. They even stated that they wouldn't change it if it was their car. Thanks guys for your honesty and helpfulness.

Went there to get my car checked. The guy took my car for a ride . Came back and gave me the right advice that car needed wheel balancing which they did not provide at that location. Will definitely go again for other issues

This team was excellent super friendly and professional! I highly recommend them especially because of the way they respected my request to have whoever was working on my car wear a mask and gloves since I am immunocompromised and not a candidate for the vaccine. I had just gone to a different location owned by and managed by someone else earlier in the morning and got such a negative vibe and such attitude that I got in my car and left. These guys were the total opposite and I so appreciate their willingness to accommodate my needs with a smile on their face. Special shout-out to Aaron who did my state inspection and to Carl who was super knowledgeable and helpful. He was eager to educate me and suggest things I should probably look at. I was not going to deal with oil today but because he was genuine and because he was so friendly I said go ahead and check my oil. I found out I had basically no oil in my car! He did the same for my cabin air filter which BTW was filthy and the reason why I did not feel good in my car for the past few months!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change
