I offered Joey the job because I felt for him and his sob story. Paid him 2300 up front to fix a few dings, a door dent and he offered to paint the car even the plastics. I was in no hurry because I have several cars and didn't need the car as a driver. After several months... about 7 months, I received my car with subpar body work and the paint was spotted like a leopard shark. Joey offered to fix it but I didn't want him to touch it again. After him being persistent on fixing his work I gave in. After 2 weeks at his shop I received a call from the sherrifs office saying to vet my car before it's impounded as Joey was eveicted from his shop. I get my car home and notice my front end had some kind of collision and was hanging loose. I took my car to Joey's new place to fix my bumper so I could drive my car again. After several weeks of him doing nothing I'd had enough and went to get my car and cut my losses. When I arrived he and my car were nowhere to be found. I waited 20 minutes and he pulled up driving my car for his personal use. His big German Shepard was inside my car and hadpissed all over my seat and tore up interior. Big dog paw scratches all over my car. Fur everywhere and looked like it has sat in a junkyard for months with windows down. It's now cost me $5000 to fix Joey's work on top of what I paid him and have to live with a big stain in my seat. This guy had the nerve to try and make me feel this is my fault. Stay far far away from this horrible person. If I could give 5 negative stars I would.

Buyer beware!! The owner, Joey was very professional, until he thought the insurance check was in the mail... His original estimate for the repairs was $2056.77. It was more than $600 higher than an estimate we had gotten from the Toyota dealer, of $1420.08. The insurance adjuster agreed to extra compensation for a trailer hitch, and muffler. The next day, my husband contacted Joey, to say we had found a different bumper online that we wanted to purchase on our own, for him to install, Joey 'blew a gasket.' At that point, my husband went back to Joey's shop to try to resolve the issue. Joey stated that we owed him $3000 for the work he had done - removing a bumper & tailgate, or he would not release our car. We had to call the police!! We offered to pay him the fair amount of labor, per his original estimate, which was 1.7 hours or $76.50. He then insisted on $1389.71, which, 'legally,' we HAD to pay, then take him to court to recover!! I took out my credit card to pay him, but when I asked for the invoice detailing the $1389.71 of "work" he 'supposedly' had done, he finally gave us the keys and released the car to us!! WOW... What an ordeal!! All over the mark-up he would have gotten from a bumper. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

I hired Joey Peterson to fix some paint issues and also some dmage to the bumper area of my car which would be partially covered by my insurance. He quoted me $2200 for the paint work and i would pay an additional $1000 for deductible for my insurance company. He went way past the time my insurance allotted for the rental and kept giving me the wrong date to pick up my car. Always saying it would be ready tomorrow and like that, he took an additional 3 weeks over the time he initially promised. When i came to get my car, it was missing 2 parts and there were paint drips, tape that had been painted over, exhaust pipe hanging to the ground and the car was completely filthy inside. I told him it was not acceptable and he asked for more time. I came back to get the car 1 week later and there were still so many paint drips and the inside of the car was filthy with dirt and sweat. He overcharged me on $1000 on top of the original estimate. The work is truly horrible and low quality. Paint drips and bubbling everywhere. He wouldn't let me take my car unless i paid the $1000. So i paid him and left.

Joey (Joseph Peters) contracted my business to do glass replacement on one of his customers vehicle. Done the job and paid us with an NSF check . Contacted Joey for payment and started to give me the run around. Now he won t even return phone calls. Not a stand up guy stay far away from him he will scam you.

Joey did a great job pulling the big dent out of my plastic bumper. He even touched up all my little chips I had all around my car. I was pleased with his work and would recommend him.

Update, Joey is still at it, ripping people off !!!This place is terrible. It's on you when you get treated the same way as every other legitimate review for Chipz & Dentz Away !!And it wasn't years ago, it was last year.Joey can't keep track of everyone he's ripped off.

If I could give negative stars I would. This guy stole my money, damaged my car, lost plexsisting parts of my car, lied repeatedly and returned my vehicle undriveable with thousands of additional dollars in damage. HE IS DOING THIS TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE. DO NOT EVER GO HERE.

Terrible, terrible job. I could have done it better by myself. Very poor quality work. A job that was promised to be about 1 day turned into about 3.5 days. I feel totally "ripped off" and wish I could get a refund. Avoid this place at all costs
