I got my oil change done here and this is what happened to my car when I got home.I realized when my husband left in the car, I go outside and see this on our driveway. The filter and the oil. I call my husband right away and he was already telling me the car was marking him to pull the car over. He had to leave the car on the side of the road until next day when we went to VP to make the claim.They also did not clean the oil on our driveway after they said they would. My car could ve exploded or the engine could ve stopped working. Do not recommend going here. This isn t the first time they have done this.

Just needed an inspection. In and out in 20 minutes. Considering how busy they always are with inspections, I consider this an excellent experience. Employees were polite and professional.

I haven't done this for a car in a very long time and they were very patient with me, put window wipers on for me, and I got the insurance and got it certified all smoothly before getting my window sticker. Thank u..!!

Came in for a state inspection and ended up getting an oil change! They had the oil I needed, and I didn t have to wait!! Great group of guys!!

Waited almost two hours for an inspection with only three people in line, no option for drop off, no one would give me an eta on how long it would take. Once I was finally into the bay, the guys took care of administrative work for several minutes before getting to me, then showed me attitude when I asked if they could do that later and get my inspection done so I could go about my day.

TL;DRFast, professional service without appointment; a little hit-and-miss on the details.______General Impressions:Went in for a standard oil change. Was taken immediately, despite having no appointment. Was able to leave before the work was started and was given a call immediately upon completion of the work.Requested an oil change with conventional oil and an air filter replacement. Unfortunately, no written record of the request was taken and the details were a bit lost in translation as synthetic oil was used and there was no air filter replacement.At checkout, a full receipt was provided which detailed an 18 point inspection - though the results do not necessarily match the state of the vehicle; so uncertain if this was in fact performed.Upon collection of the vehicle, the cost of the work was higher than expected and the technician took the time to review the bill with me. When it was discovered that synthetic oil was used (explaining the higher price point) and I explained that this was not what was requested (another technician took my initial request), he was will to give a partial discount (though the issue wasn't the price; it was concern about the deleterious effects of synth oil on an older, high-mileage engine).______What to LOOK for:- Quick service- Professional conduct______What to look OUT for:- Order detailsServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Worst experience ever! Needed an inspection. Saw line and asked if I could leave vehicle. Was told no, owner doesn't allow. ( later found out this guy is owner.) Waited about 20 mins and not 1 car got done. Waited another 15 mins, still not 1 car done. Put 2 people ahead that were spending more at their shop. STILL waiting. Tried to ask how long and owner started screaming and coming towards me like he was about to get physical. Told me he wouldn't do my inspection and screamed at me to leave. Called another shop and the guy said he had heard this before and that they also try to sell you stuff you don't need.I DON'T NEED THIS S***! NEVER GOING BACK OR REFERING THEM!!! NEVER!!

I visited Express Lube on a Friday morning in need of an inspection on my car and had a great experience with them. There were two cars in front of me when I arrived, but even so, I wasn't there for longer than 45 minutes to an hour, from pulling up to driving away. Both of the employees that I interacted with were helpful and friendly. I paid the standard inspection fee, which is less than $10. Overall, I am very pleased with my straightforward and pleasant experience at Express Lube. I'll be going there next time I need a vehicle inspected.

Best place in Fredericksburg for inspections. The entire crew is very kind, friendly, and professional. I have taken my vehicle for years and appreciate one employee in particular, Kevin. Kevin always takes the time to make sure my vehicle is in top notch condition. The wait is never too long, as he is direct and will suggest a time to come by to get in and out. Exceptional!

I went in for an inspection on my truck. They did it no problems. Gave me a $10 off my next visit They asked if I needed an oil change. Asked how much they told me and gave me the $10 credit. A quick job. Thanks

I went there for an inspection. The service was great. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Just an inspection nothing more.Seems like VP Express has changed for the better. I will definitely give them more business.

I use this location to get my vehicles inspected. My last visit there was a bit of a wait but not too long.The inspector, Kevin, was the most polite, nice, professional and informative inspector I have ever had.He shared some car information that was valuable and kept me from walking off and leaving my RaybanSunglasses. If they would have had a tip jar I would have left a tip!Thank you Express Lube and Kevin for such a nice experience for a dreaded annual required duty. . 5 stars

These men graciously stayed open late on a Saturday for us to arrive to replace a broken belt. We were so very grateful and recommend anyone to go here.It also blew our mind that the shop was so clean. Never in our lives have we seen a cleaner auto shop. Attention to detail and the customer.

Fast but they don t ask what kind of oil you want (I need a high mileage oil) and they lied about vacuuming the front interior as was indicated on the receipt. They also didn t let me know if anything was rubbing on my tires like I had asked them to check. Oil change cost $48.

Do not go there. I don t know if this business has changed hands, but I went in for a vehicle inspection and they came in to say I needed a new air filter. The filter was gross, but I didn t have it my budget to pay $40 for one. I was told they could drop the price by $10 for me. I still said no don t change it. I then went down the road to my auto store to get pricing on the filter. The filter they showed me didn t even remote resemble the nasty thing that was shown to me. I will never go back.

I arrived today at 11:40 am. I had called beforehand and asked if they still did inspections. They said yes and that it would be a 40 minute wait. When I arrived, one of the employees came up to my window and when I told him what I needed he said "No more inspections!" I said that I had called earlier and was told they were still doing inspections but there would be a wait. He replied, "No more inspections! I'm telling everyone to leave now!" and stomped away from my car. The five other vehicles around me and I were all told to leave. I know for a fact one of the vehicles had been there waiting for at least 30 minutes and was told to leave. I have been taking my vehicles here for years and never had a problem up until this point. Ever since the new owners have taken over, the place has gone to s***. Whoever this employee was, he was rude and unprofessional. I will never take any of my vehicles here again nor will I recommend this place anymore. Disgusting.

I do not normally mind waiting for service if I see others being taken care of in a timely manner. It took 1 hour & 45 minutes for a state inspection & oil change for $103.00. During that time there was no sense of urgency from the employees. They stood around talking & smoking at times. At one point there were no vehicles in either bay being serviced. Very poor service. Will not go there again or recommend them.

Very friendly and professional. Had driven over some debris from an overturned semi and wanted to see if anything was wrong underneath as we had a 4 hour drive home on Sunday. They checked it real quick and didn't even charge. Tried to pay and they told me it was no problem and happy to help. Great guys, highly recommend.

Waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes while mechanics and techs all ignored me and were all looking at something out back. No one was even in the stalls for inspections or oil changes. There are cameras and doors chiming and me poking my head into the garage periodically. They had to have seen me and not even a hello.

This place is a joke. Took the car in for a state safety check, waited in line for 45 minutes, then one of the employees got in my car, drove it around and put it at the back of the queue, left the engine running and walked away. When I tried to get some information on what was going on, they just ignored me. Will never go back here again. This was outright rude and unprofessional. Find somewhere else to get your service!!!

Reasonable service. Was greeted at my truck by a technician and asked what service I required.Asked for an oil change (5 quarts of 5w20 synthetic) and a state vehicle inspection. Was told the inspection computer was down beforehand and still requested oil change.20 minutes later, they tell me it's done. I head inside to pay and a polite woman behind the counter rings me up. And here comes the issue.92 dollars for an oil change.92 dollars.I was indignant, but I didn't mention anything. One of the techs said they were trying to get the inspection computer back online, and then they did so. The inspection was 5 dollars.My family members have also had their vehicles serviced here and paid similar prices for oil changes on a 2006 Honda Ridgeline. My mother was rudely ignored by chatting young employees and had to wait several minutes in clear view of said employees to even be asked for a service request.Tl;dr. Service was prompt and there was no up sell or anything of that ilk. Oil change was inordinately expensive compared to anywhere else I have been. Would recommend for services except lube - ironic, considering the name of the building.

My family took refuge n Fredericksburg for hurricane Harvey. They did both our vehicles in 15 minutes and only charged us for labor. Real great group of guys working there. We are so appreciative.
