These folks know tires. I had a low tire and came in only to have the tires checked. They discovered a puncture in one of my tires. They stayed open a little after normal closing to fix it because they didn't want me to be stranded. Such nice people. Very grateful.

Gus helped us with utility tire purchase. Very helpful and did everything he said he would. First timer there, liked the customer service and work installing 4 tires.

I've lived in Fredericksburg for over 30 years...it's my home.. I came in to Stroeher and Olfers to have my tire repaired. I remembered when I first moved here how the small town comfort of friendliness assured me of honesty and reliability. I was taken back in time during this visit. Nothing has changed, every transaction I saw was down home, spot on friendly, knowledgeable, straight foward. It's comforting to know that some things don't change. I missed my chatting with Betty, but we'll catch up soon.

I desperately needed my tires replaced, other places were closed or too booked up to help me so I brought my car in here. I asked how much it would cost, just to make sure I had enough to pay for the service, and I did according to what they told me; however, when I came to pick up my car the price was nearly doubled from what they told me.I didn't have the money to pay the doubled price right away so I asked if they could do some sort of payment plan. They just shrugged at me and basically said "if you can't pay it in full, we're going to keep your car until you can". I needed to get home and back to work so I went to go take out a loan so I could pay for the tires.This would all be fine if they didn't give me THE WORST TIRES IN THE WORLD! The tires they gave me were essentially so worn out that I would need another replacement after a week (I paid for "new" tires by the way, I remember wanting used tires and then reluctantly agreeing to new ones after the sales guy kept hassling me about it) and they almost immediately started making this horrible "whirring" noise whenever I drove. It's been 5 months and I'm still paying off the loan I got to pay for the first tire replacement.I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you enjoy extremely overpriced, low quality work. Be prepared for them to give you used parts when you pay for new ones, and hold your car hostage if the service turns out to be double the price they told you it was going to be.Service: Auto tire replacement

Always a pleasure doing business with these folks. Kawasaki Mule service by Danny pretty much once a year. He s thorough, professional, friendly and wasted no time getting to work on my rig. Highly recommended

I had an emergency with a flat tire about an hour before these guys closed. They were super busy and a bit behind schedule, but still managed to fit me in to fix my flat. They even stayed a little after closing time to do it. I am incredibly grateful to these mechanics for helping me out and getting me back on the road again.

My daughter and I traveled over 3 hours for a girls trip, we felt a vibration in the steering wheel and already stopped at one tire store. They lowered the psi in the tires but not much more than that. My husband found this company online and when I stopped by, they asked where I felt the vibration and looked over everything on the tires for me. We were only mere miles away from a major blowout on a drive tire which would have really been dangerous and damaging for our vehicle. They made it a point to take care of us and make us feel safe on our return trip home. We are so thankful for them. 5 stars in my book!!!!!!Service: Tires

I should preface this review by noting it's not normal service and I doubt Stroeher and Olfers would necessarily want this publicised!!BUT..... while recently travelling through Texas I experienced a tyre pressure warning on the interstate. I limped (50 mph) to a gas station to get air. But the problem persisted. The lovely lady at the visitor information office directed me to Stroeher's.And while they were incredibly busy, they managed to repair my tyre. I had requested they simply change the spare (which I could not do myself) but they discovered a donut spare and instead fixed the tyre.Given I was a tourist in a rental car with no other transport options and no working mobile phone (international call rates etc), this really was a lifesaving moment.The staff were so lovely and I can't speak highly enough of them.To the team at Stroeher's - thank you for saving me that day! Great local business that was able to install large tires for my family on a 42 motorhome. Prices were fair and accurately presented. Date codes are important on this size and application and they completely understood and helped with my concerns. I appreciate the tolerance of Raul and Rogelio letting me hang around so that I could understand the process and help move the motorhome as necessary. I would highly recommend them and would tell anyone that great companies like Stroeher and Olfer s are busy for a reason.Service: Tires

Had a right rear tire issue 45 mins before closing I pulled up and the next thing I knew that had my tire off patched and put back on within 15 minutes and then explained what was wrong and how they repaired it. Great people and services!Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

Purchased a set of tires, was given a cost when I made the appointment. Tires must have come in cheaper, was charged less than quoted. One wheel stud was broken, stud was not available. I located a stud, brought the vehicle back in to have it replaced. Shop replaced at no charge. I went here trying to get some info on a water pump issue issue I had for a dirt bike. As an auto store I did not except to get much help or feedback. Contrary to my expectations they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I brought the parts for the water pump just to show them what I was working with, they took them back to the shop and assembled the whole thing in around 5 minutes total. From the front counter to the mechanics in the back they all had great attitudes and were extremely polite. I cannot say enough positive things about this shop as they saved me hours of personal research and mistakes. If I was a resident in Fred this would be my go-to auto shop. 6/5 stars.

I can t say enough about this company! We had a blowout in Fredricksburg, they were the only company able to come and help us! Originally they weren t going to be able to get to us for about 2.5 hrs but one of their guys finished his work and was able to get to us within 45 minutes! Super friendly service. The "check guages" light came on in our Dodge Ram while we were in town on vacation and they ran the diagnostics for us right away. Happily everything checked out and we were off to enjoy the rest of our stay.

Had new tires installed on class c motorhome in Baton Rouge Goodyear. Lots of problems and lack of experience. Had a instant flat today pulling into Fredericksburg so i eased into this Goodyear. Great staff, knowledgeable, and reasonable. They found that the Baton Rouge store had installed the wrong valve stems. Even though it was 5pm the crew corrected the issue and got me on my way.Thanks guys

I always get my tires here. Make sure to go early in the morning because they get really busy and there will usually be a wait. The service is really great though and I do believe they have the best prices.

Was a truly painful visit. Can't get anyone to help you. Had a tire to be fixed off of my golf cart. Had a hole in it. Put me in a line. But every trailer that came after got ahead of me. Truly slow place. I wouldn't even make this a last resort in the future

This is the only shop my husband will take his 20 year old ATV for service. Their work is top notch and their prices are very reasonable. Very friendly folks.
