This place is amazing!!!If u need transmission work done, come to this place for sure!Not only did they do excellent work, but it was ready in the time they quoted me and even worked with me on my payment.Super nice and just all around good people!If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

My transmission in my 2004 dodge ram 2500 diesel was having issues, I took it to eagle transmission and they said the damage was caused by an electrical problem, and that they would repair the transmission, but not the electrical problems. So I had it towed to Top Notch, chuy told me what it would cost to repair, and that there was not an electrical problem. and I gave them the go ahead to fix it, and upgrade it, and I love it, it shifts great, tows great. Haven't had any issues at all I've put 1500 miles on it and its great. Would highly recommend Top Notch

Chuy was great, very friendly!I was kept in the loop the whole time my car was in the shop. There were no surprises when I came to pick up my car. I got my car back last week and it's been running great ever since. Great job guys!

Stopped in to see the shop and talk with them about my transmission issues. They were very friendly and took the time to talk with me. Faith at the front desk greeted me right away and after I explained my situation, Chuy, the owner came over and talked with me about it. Very friendly and down to earth people. Refreshing.

I like to Thank Mr Chuy Owner of Top Notch Transmissions for having such a good heart. Took my nissan diagnosed the problem unfortunately my vehicle has other issues besides transmission. Since Mr Chuy knew I had taken my vehicle to several places charge me and the problem continue he made an exception with me of not charging me for checking my truck. Good person like him are hard to find . May God bless you always Mr Chuy!!

I had our van towed there recently with a transmission problem. They checked quickly and found I had just misaligned a ring when replacing my CV axles. Got it fixed and charged me barely anything. Use them always. Best repair shop I have ever interacted and experienced.I had hard shifting and grinding going on in my 2017 Explorer. Chuy Estrada told me it would be a week before they could look at it, I explained my son has medical appointments and asked him to call me when they had a slot open up and I could bring it in. He took the time to fit me in on a Saturday, and diagnosed my problem to fit in my schedule.He found the problem, and fixed it within an hour and a half and my son can still make his medical appointments the next week.I cannot say enough about this place. And the service I got was literally top notch. The Explorer is running a million times better and he as even able to give me advice on next steps. Highly highly recommend do not sleep on this place.

Excellent work. Chuey was a great surprise. I found his business by accident being one of a few that are open on Saturday. My 2003 Durango has never run better. Not even when I bought it new 20 years ago. I originally wanted to just replace the transmission. Chuey decided to rebuild it. I am so much happier with his decision. Adding the shift kit, I have more power than I could have ever imagined.

My van's transmission quit, and we use it for work so it was pretty urgent we get it fixed ASAP. I call Top Notch and spoke to Chuy. I explained to him that I needed a possible rebuild, and I needed one fairly quick. He told me it was no problem, he could get me in and out within the week. The project was completed within the time line and j was back on the road all fixed up. All in all, one of the best experiences I've had at repair shop, and the customer service is amazing.

I contacted Top Notch Transmissions from a referred and glad I did. It wasn t the cost that caused me to choose them but Chuy s customer service. He clearly enjoys what he does and it shows. His communication was excellent and honest being careful not to over promise and under deliver. He provided an estimate on cost but was cautious about estimating time due to things out of his control such as parts availability and shipping. He did promise to do everything to get my truck back quickly as I was scheduled to leave town in a few days. I dropped it off Sunday night for a Monday start and it was back in my driveway that week on Friday. Chuy and his team did everything they said they d do and you can t ask more than that.I d highly recommend Top Notch Transmissions.Service: Transmission

My vehicle broke down a couple blocks away from this shop. The owner personally drove his truck to my location and towed my car the rest of the way with a tow strap. They completed the work and a manufacturing defect caused it to break down shortly after. They got the manufacturer to replace the part and had to redo all the work they had previously done at no cost to me. I could not recommend this place more.Service: Transmission

Finding a mechanic is tough. . .it's tough to trust people, especially the large national companies. . .but Chuy and Top Notch Transmissions are people you can trust. They made me feel comfortable, they're competitively priced, and their work is truly TOP NOTCH. My 2015 GMC Sierra's rebuilt transmission is better than new, I could not be happier with the work, service, and turn-around time, my overall experience was absolutely a 5-Star experience. My 2013 Ram 1500 suddenly, and I mean very suddenly, went into "limp mode", which means stuck in 4th gear, which also usually means a shift solenoid died. I called Top Notch Transmissions and Chuy said to bring it over right away. Chuy is very knowledgeable and a great guy to talk with - He's a straight shooter and will tell you everything up front.After diagnosing the problems, Chuy ended up suggesting that in addition to a new solenoid pack, it would be a good idea to rebuild the valve body, and I agreed. I had bought the truck used, and had no idea what shape the transmission was in. Wow, am I glad I said yes to both!Chuy and his team replaced the solenoid pack and rebuilt the valve body, re-trained the shifting, and here's the kicker - They finished it ahead of the promised date! I did not realize how bad the transmission was getting, until I drove it after the repairs. The truck is now shifting like new, it's smooth, more powerful, and also getting slightly better gas mileage. Added bonus - Chuy and team were very respectful of my property and returned the truck clean inside and out.I highly recommend Top Notch Transmissions - They are great to do business with!Service: Transmission

I brought my focus in a little over six or so months ago. Chuy was the only guy in the metroplex who not only wasn t a dealership, but had also been able to say that he was confident in his ability to fix my transmission issue.As I have the first generation in Ford s dual transmission journey, I was skeptical about issue being fixed.He had my vehicle for only a handful of days. He kept me updated as each day passed. Before I knew it, my car was ready.A flawless flush and transaction.Which also didn t break my bank, huge bonus.I haven t had a single issue since.Thoroughly impressed with the service I was given and definitely recommend to the next guy or girl. Spoke with Chuy up here. He was able to do a full flush / service on my CVT transmission under a time crunch! Excellent customer service! Would recommend to anyone looking for transmission work especially on CVTs since he is one of the only people in the DFW who has the knowledge and capability to work on them! 10 out of 10 and a job well done!Service: Transmission

Well picking a transmission company to rebuild a transmission can be risky. But after a recommendation from a friend who owns a repair shop, he told me that Top Notch was his prefered shop. Their price was very competitive and i decided to go with them on a replacing a ford escape transmission. The communication level was right on and the promised ETA was 1 day early which i was super happy to get a jump on completing the vehicle. The transmission arrived looking amazing, It was super clean, painted and delivered! The vehicle transmission worked perfectly and it has been over 60 days! Highly recommend!
