I am beyond grateful for Robert and his team. I was recommended his shop through a family friend and I was treated like family. I had a lot of work to be done on my '11 Jeep Wrangler and he was very transparent about the cost of each part and/or service. Also, his turnaround time was impeccable. I can't recommend him enough and I am looking forward to bringing my car back to his shop.

I ve been here twice and both times they have given exceptional service. The first time was to fix my air conditioning, they did amazing and didn t charge too much. The second time was to fix my engine oil cooler, and once again they did amazing. They get your car done very quickly, and they are nice. I d recommend this place to anyone ANYONE!

I bought this truck with body damage. And I shopped around and seemed like I was getting really high prices. Robert gave me a price to fix several issues and everything came out looking great.

I took my 16' Buick Encore in over a week ago to diagnose a/c issues I have been having and saying he was simply helpful is an understatement! He was completely transparent with his pricing and very informative regarding what materials and work needed to be done to repair the problem. He also maintained great communication regarding any updates to the repair. I am so thankful to have a cold car again and I absolutely recommend Robert and his team! I will be trusting him with any more car issues in the future!

they must pay people to leave good reviews or delete the bad ones .. Robert had an attitude from the moment I went to go drop my car off . I was totally fine with having to wait a few days to see what was wrong with it .. the end of the week rolls around so I call.. He answers the phone "hello" rudely and then proceeds to tell me hes too back up and still has yet to look at my car... please change your attitude

Took my 05' Avalon to them to diagnose my broke A/C. I appreciated how they called me with the cost & details of the repair needed and to get my approval...which I gladly gave. They had the parts ordered, installed, and my car ready before they closed that same day. The A/C is still running cold a few weeks later! Pricing was fair and they didn't try to sell me more than I needed. Will be recommending them to all my friends & family!Service: Air conditioning

I looked around for a place to repair my seat & am sooo very glad I found R & A auto repair. I was expecting to be without my truck for a few days but I dropped it off on Monday morning & got the call that it was ready the next day. Very pleased with the work done & the price. Had 2 engines replaced and couldn t get a good one from another shop. They gave up and Robert agreed to help. He received the 3rd motor from the parts store and it was not up to his standards. He worked with the parts company to get a better motor and put it in. I had been without a vehicle for 3 months. He was very sympathetic and worked quickly to get me back in the road. He is a super nice guy. He is honest and I trust him with all of my future work. I really appreciate all of the hard work and time he put into warranting my engine!

I have been going to R & A auto for years now. I was introduced to Rob when my parents were stuck in Grand Prairie with an alternator that went out. It was after working hours and he went out there to replace it and get them on the road. Since then Rob and his crew has been our go to for any issues with our vehicle.The guy has a great heart and it shows. He has always got us in and out as soon as possible with the lowest price possible. Recently I had a gas leak in my car, I remember my previous mechanic quoted me $300 just to drop the gas tank and try to find the issue. Rob and his team fixed it for just over that price, also they diagnosed and fixed an electrical nightmare caused from a stereo company installing a system in my vehicle.They have fixed pumps, leaks, motor mounts, sensors and more for me and my family. I always know they will do it correctly, quickly and at a price that makes me confident they are not trying to screw over the little guy.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Had a fuel pump issue on a tundra and Robert was very communicative and transparent about the breakdown of cost. He understood how important I needed the vehicle back and was able to get it done the same day. He was way cheaper and faster than other people. Very professional and transparent. Great experience!!! A friend referred me to Robert. When I talked to him and let him know what was going on, he understood how important I needed the vehicle back and was able to get me in and start the process. He was way cheaper and faster than other people. Even with my insurance making him wait, he still worked with me while being very professional and transparent. Great experience!!! Excellent service.My family and I were traveling through Ft Worth in vacation when our van just quit. He paid my tow bill so the tow truck would drop the van while my family and I were still walking to the shop.All four of the guys in the shop jumped right on it. They determined it was the fuel pump and had us back on the road in less than 3 hours. Robert charged far less than what most any other shop I would have taken it to.A few days later he sent me a text checking on how we were making it. If you need your vehicle repaired he is definitely the shop to go to.

R & A is now my go-to spot for everything. I had some significant body damage on my vehicle from a hit & run and Robert & his team worked with my insurance to fix everything, working with my insurance to save me a ton of money. Robert is smart and knows how to work with your insurance to save you money. R&A also has great ethics and communication. Robert replaced my vehicles spark plugs, cabin air filter, new drive belt with labor, new air filter, transmission flush, coolant flush, brake flush, fuel injection service, and fuel & oil additives. He did a wonderful job and is "VERY" reasonable. Robert definitely knows what he is doing and is professional about it. You can tell he cares about your vehicle and your pocket book. Finally found my mechanic!!! My car needed a new transmission and after getting the run around from several other mechanics with piss poor communications, I decided to go with R&A auto. Not only did Robert communicate with me the whole time, he came and towed my car and had the transmission ordered and the car fixed in 2 days exactly. He also called me and let me know if there were any other issues with the car and asked my thoughts before proceeding with anything else. Found Robert online, read his great reviews, then called him up. He not only had my issue fixed in a WAY shorter time than I thought it would take, but he also charged fair prices for outstanding work. I definitely have a new home mechanic!

I took my 1990 Mazda Miata to this place. Moved to Ft. Worth a year ago and haven't trusted any one in years to fix my car. Amazing job, reliable and trustworthy. Robert will be honest and let you know upfront what needs to be done and he will fix it and not rip you off like other mechanics do and have in my experience. If he knows how to fix an import and a classic, like mine....he can fix anything. I highly recommend this place.

I take all of my vehicles to Robert. He is affordable, and has helped me up out a lot. He has done head gasket work, alternator, oil pan gasket, 02 sensors, and multiple other things for me. He comes highly recommended. I refer anyone that I know needing a mechanic, to R&A.

Had issues with a used car that I had just bought from Vandergriff Acura, the techs at the dealership said that it was the throw out bearing, then they said that it was the slave cylinder, then they said it was a pivot ball bearing and clutch fork and wanted to charge me close to 4K. I decided I wasn t going to do that and reached out to a friend who recommended R & A, so I figured I would reach out. Immediately his pricing was better, was able to get to it quickly, identified the issue, sent me pictures and texts letting me know if there were going to be more charges and was able to complete this issue in one day when most shops quoted me 3-4.10/10 Would recommend and I will never go anywhere else to have my WRX worked on again.

Went in to get my AC fixed and not only did they fix it like new but they order the parts for cheaper than what I could order them for from any shop I went to. Filled up the free-on and had a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. The work was done the next day after leaving my car there the day before.

Headed from East Texas to Waco, but alternator gave out in Grand Prairie. Called Robert just as he was closing shop. He came out to us, brought three alternators and a battery. Changed out in less than 30 minutes and didn't gouge us on parts or labor !!!! Who does that?? This guy is honest, professional, and plain awesome. I will only send my family to him from now on. Thank you Robert!!
