I had a great experience with NuBrakes this weekend. I looked online and found them quickly. I used their site on my phone for a quick estimate on new brake pads and rotors. The site was easy and almost immediately, got a text asking for more details and to set up an appointment the same day or next. They were polite and I felt like I was a priority the whole time. The next day, Jeremy came out to my house, gave me the same quote and with no fuss, got to work quickly on my car. Only took about an hour, and my car was finished and ready to go. Best experience ever. Highly recommend for quick service and repair at a reasonable cost. Thanks guys.

Jack came out to replace my brake pads and do an oil change, and they couldn t have made it simpler and more convenient. Jack was thorough in going over absolutely everything, and was patient as I asked questions, then he even swapped out a new pair of windshield wipers I had pitches elsewhere. Their pricing is in line with shops, if not cheaper! Even the oil change was the same cost as going anywhere else. They do a variety of different things, so check out their website, you won t be disappointed. These are my guys moving forward!

Great experience. Communication before and during was EXCELLENT! Very nice and knowledgeable employees. Quote was quick and prices reasonable. Super convenient to have this done in the parking lot while I worked. Will definately use again. Great service, great work, great warranty! Jake my tech was so thorough and took time to explain details to me. Loved everything about this!

Recently had the easiest and friendliest experience with Jake and NuBrakes. Needed to have my rear rotor and pads replaced. Scheduling was a breeze. He met me at my office, inspected my vehicle, and gave me thorough explanations and recommendations.He only recommended me what was necessary and did not try to upsell me on anything which I really appreciated. Paid exactly what I was quoted. Amazing business, but even better customer service.

I honestly just can't say enough about NuBrakes. This is my second time calling them for new front brake pads as the last time I had an oil change I was told I needed them badly. First, I love the convenience of them coming to me and not having drop my car off somewhere or wait for hours. My technician Michael (who is just wonderful) told me that my pads were fine and that new ones were not needed at this time. I called NuBrakes again because I wasn't sure if oil change place was just trying to make extra money off me by telling me I needed new pads. Sure enough they were. When NuBrakes could have just done the same, Michael was honest and explained how I will know when I truly do need new brake pads. I can't tell you how rare that is and how much it's appreciated. They will always be my go to for new brakes. I highly recommend!

Holy Smokes!!!! ..And every other positive affirmation you can think of!!!!!At this point in time with Tyler our technician having just left -after putting new brakes and rotors in our 2005 Dodge Durango, we are genuinely impressed .We had loaned the vehicle to a family member, who had it for a few years and didn t put much mileage on it, but had to have the brakes replaced every few months as she was a brake Stomper !!!!!So, although the brakes rotors and calipers had been replaced in December 2023, it was as if the car had no brakes and my husband advised that it shouldn t be driven until we replaced them .I begin my search online-at the dealership where we actually purchased it who wouldn t even be able to get us in until April 23 let alone probably would ve cost at least three times as much if not more .Then I came upon Nu Brakes . I had never heard of them, but read some reviews (here on yelp, of course) and was really impressed by what I read so I decided to contact them via text that evening not expecting a response.Well, I ll tell you not only did I get a response, but we corresponded back-and-forth until I actually had an appointment set two days later and an estimate and we had texted back-and-forth, on and off, for approximately two hours. It was close to 940 PM or so when we were done- in terms of an appointment and a window of time.I was so impressed. I had to go share this information with my husband and we both were very much looking forward to see what kind of level of Customer Service we would have in the actual servicing of the vehicle AT OUR HOME IN OUR DRIVEWAY!!!!!(You can choose to get a smaller window of time for an extra $15) .but since we didn t have plans this weekend we chose the afternoon window from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM . we were advised by a couple of different texts that the person who was going to perform the work would text us when they were on their way and would call or text when they arrived. Again, that s just not the usual modus operandi we have found in some companies in Central Texas.-I was skeptical, I admit it.Well, talk about proving me wrong .. we got at least two reminders of the appointment, informing us of how to cancel should the need arise. We were also notified by Tyler when he was on his way. He arrived around 2:30 PM and finished about 3:30 PM.The quote we received was accurate and there are even options where you can finance the work should you need to .This was one of the best Customer Service experiences I ve ever had in my life !!!! We are so impressed and will recommend them highly to anyone needing any brake repairs! The work comes with a two-year/24,000 mile warranty and should they need arise we will definitely use them again. In fact will never go anywhere else for car brakes!

It s hard to find a mechanic you can trust. You always wonder if they are being honest when you don t know anything about cars!!! I couldn t recommend this company enough!!! Our tech Eddie was 100% honest with us saving us a lot of time and money and only did what HAD to be done!!!! If you want convenience paired with integrity and great workmanship- call them. You will not be sorry!!!

The process was the best ever! I anticipated a steep bill and OMG was completely Amazed at the cost being well less than half of what I was quoted!!!! Turned out I simply needed front pads!!!! My experience with Steve was great! He checked all of my brake pads and let me know that the back ones needed replacing and the front ones were close to needing replacement. He offered me to replace just the back two or all four, with no pressure or upselling. What a great easy experience and I was able to work from home while he worked. So glad I found NuBrakes.

Today s experience with NuBrakes was wonderful! Jake was right on time, he was pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me, showed me the damaged parts and gave me helpful tips to make my brakes last longer. I will definitely call them again if I need more work done.

The team at Nubrakes were fantastic! They worked with my schedule and the technician Jake was very professional and courteous. Anytime you get car work done there is always the concern that people will try and get you to get something you don t need. Jake was honest about where my breaks are at and I really appreciated it. Getting a quote and setting up an appointment was very easy through texting. Everyone that assisted me were very helpful and quick to respond. My Technician Michael arrived within the set time frame. He was friendly and very informative. He replaced the front rotors and brake pads within 45 minutes. Thank you Michael! Jake was awesome! He was honest and showed me exactly what he was seeing. He determined the brakes ultimately did not need replacing nor did a flush need to be performed. The squeaking I was experiencing was just from moisture. I was charged the service fee and that was all. The service fee however can be applied to any future service. I will use nubrakes again based on this experience! Thanks again!

The tech was excellent. He arrived in a timely manner. The service was a little pricier than expected. Another part was needed. The tech left to purchase it. But came back with the wrong size. So I was stuck inside over night. Overall I'm satisfied. And now I can drive safely

It was great, technician came to my office location. That alone was awesome, I didn t have to go sit at a shop and wait for the work to begin and end. The price was what they quoted. He did the work, text me a link and I m done paid on my phone. No hassle Perfect!!

I am very pleased with this company. They are great with communication from helpingto identify the problem, being upfront about pricing, and extremely efficient in follow-up on the appointment time. They give you a window and then let you know when they are on their way. The fact that they come to wherever you are can save alot of hassle.Their friendliness and professionalism are above and beyond. I highly recommend this company.

Great service. I've been working from home for over 3 years now and have plenty of time too use a service like this without having to give up a Saturday to get repairs. I shopped around and found the cost comparable to the dealership so that wasn't a factor. The convenience is very well worth it. While I worked, the brakes were being done with no sacrifice of my free time. I paid, the technician left and that was the end of it. Great! Will do it again!

Great experience. Carl the tech very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Completed the job in a timely fashion. The tech called prior to arrival and texted when he arrived. The first time I had any work done (specifically replacing the front brake pads and rotors) on my car, it was an exceptional experience. Very overpriced, the technician was just amazing. The second encounter was for a warranty replacement of the parts due to a manufacturer defect and the technician that time was dismissive and rude. He also didn t bother to do the test drive they re supposed to do. My third, and final, experience was abysmal. Aside from the huge price hike (even with their returning customer discount or whatever they call it) for the same exact work that takes less than an hour to complete, the technician didn t bother to do the required test drive before or after the repairs were completed. He had me move the car upon his arrival and then again afterwards, so a total of MAYBE 10-15 feet in all. **FYI- Prior to his arrival, the only issue I had with my car was the brake pads needing to be replaced.** He finishes with the brake pads and rotors in about 45-50 minutes.. Fast forward 12ish hours later and suddenly my car won t start. The next morning I finally got someone on the phone and told them about my car suddenly not working. After many emails & phone calls throughout the entire rest of the day, they decide to send someone out with extra parts the following day to see if they could figure out what was wrong & fix it. (They were insistent that the battery was dead and so the extra parts only consisted of a new battery..) The next morning I had to explain yet again what was going on to the person they sent out. He spent an hour trying to see if the OBD was throwing any diagnostic codes (nope, not one) after testing the battery (it was also perfectly fine), but he couldn t figure it out & said I needed to get it towed to a garage where more in depth diagnostic checks could be performed. Once he left, I never heard back from them despite being reassured multiple times that they would be in touch and a resolution would be reached. But they refused to take responsibility for their employee or even acknowledge that they could be at fault in any way. And since their warranty doesn t include this situation and they refused to refund me, I basically paid them nearly $500 to turn my car into a huge paperweight. And that s not even including the costs associated with having it towed, figuring out what the problem is, the repairs themselves (parts, labor, etc).. And having zero access to a working vehicle while all of this is going on makes everything that much more complicated. Being on a very limited income (social security), I have no wiggle room in my budget. Thanks to this company, I am out thousands of dollars now. Avoid at all costs.

Highly recommend. Jake the on site mechanic was honest and candid. It was determined that while I could replace, it was really too early as I had only used 1/2 the brake pad life. I decided to wait.

So the dealership told me 2 months ago that my rear breaks were at a 4 and I never had any grinding or making any noise. I am going on a trip to Colorado so I wanted to make sure I got them done just in case. I decided not to go to the dealership because I just had a gut feeling they were not being truthful. Well NuBrakes came out notified me that my breaks were at a 5 1/2! I did not need to get them changed at all! I paid a service fee but it is a credit for a future service. I am so happy I found them and when my car does need service I will be returning!!

We happen to see a NuBrakes van while we were out one day and looked them up. We reached out to get a quote and within minutes we had someone texting us answering our questions and giving us a quote. We set up the appointment all through text and the best part they come out where ever you are to change out your brakes! Pablo was our technician he text when he was on his way and let us know as soon as he arrived. He was super nice and professional it did not take him long to do a brake inspection as well as change out our back brakes we definitely will be setting up an appointment to do the fronts soon.
