My son went in for a basic oil change today. This was his first time getting the oil change on his car, so I thought I would call him to make sure he asked for the price of the oil change. He hadn t asked. So I told him to ask them before they started on his car, which they had pulled into the bay. He spoke with Kevin, who told him he was a mechanic and didn t know the price of the oil change. I told him son to ask him to find out. He leaves to talk to the guy that was about to do the oil change. He comes back and tells my son the oil change is going to be $110! I told my son to tell him he doesn t want the oil change and to ask him if they had already drained the oil. He was told they had not because they were waiting for him. How were they waiting for him and he d already told him he wanted a basic oil change?!?!They were trying to get over on my son! What oil change, basic or any other costs $110? I m glad I thought to call my son when I did. We will never go here again.

Took my car for a oil change and then when I got my car back and drove off 10 minutes later my car started running hot and my check Engine light came on and oil light then my car stopped cranking up then I called them they hung up the phone then when I go up there they said they wasn t goin to fix it and laughed in my face

Quick service at average market prices. Good for an oil change or a quick service or inspection although they can do some more in depth repair and service. Kind of hard to get too and a small waiting room don't make it super convenient but it definitely gets the job done if you need something simple done quickly.

I stop by kwik kar close to the Crowley rd and altamesa intersection on 8/24/23 at 8:05am I walked in and asked for a state inspection, and one of the employees said that He will get to me once they are open in a very rude tone. I told him that the sign on the door says that the business opens at 8am and it's 8:05am. I also said that you owe me an apology for being rude and he said too me, whatever! I will never visit this location again. Bad customer service

Took a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing for a check up because the check engine light was on. Turns out it was spark plugs and they switched them out. Took less than an hour and that's with 3 people already there getting other stuff done. They were very informative and didn't push for more work than what was needed. Pretty great experience but they must've let Donkey Kong hand tighten my oil filter or they didn't lube the o-ring either way the specific tool nor garage made grips could get it off I had to do the ol stab it trick

I have used this place for a while for oil changes. My car is due for a oil change June 8th and I am 3000 miles from service miles. My car started making a weird sound, thought my fan was going out but no it was the engine and when I checked the oil it didnt even show up on the stick, added oil took to a different place and they said it had not been changed since the time before the last time and the filter had not been changed and oil black. They charged me for this and could have seized my engine up. Will never go back there again and will not recommend them at all.Service: Oil change

Please don t take ur cars here they don t know what they are doing took one of the truck to get a battery replaced an they broke off the plastic cover an didn t tell me anything till I looked behind my seat then I took a 2022 f250 for an oil change an fuel filter change an they broke off the clips now they are saying they aren t responsible since the truck drove off with out an issue I was concern cause it took them a while to get it done then I figure why I don t recommend anyone taking their vehicles take it to a dealership with warranty insteadService: Oil change

Thieves. Go elsewhere.These clowns, without asking first, used full synthetic oil, and then told me my engine requires it (not true) and would show a check engine light if they'd used normal oil (hogwash).

The guys here were so nice and friendly and treated me and my car with the best customer care. The service was quick but professionally done. I would recommend this service to anyone. I am pleased

The service, price and wait were good. Here for an oil change and inspection, but also found that the a/c was blowing super cold after the visit. Not sure what they did as there was no a/c charge on the bill, but it's much appreciated when the temp is 106.

I love going to Kwik Kar Lube & Tune. They are prompt and professional and whatever they recommend improves the quality of your car. Most of the time I get an oil change or whatever they recommend. This last time it was a state inspection for my car. Reasonable prices and quality service.Thank you!

Great local guys who provide top notch service. They point out any additional service needs without pressuring you with "up selling". So much faster and easier than going to the dealership. I brought my vehicle to this location for a tune up and to have my power steering belt changed out. I was charged almost 530 dollars for their services. My vehicle was in worst condition than what it was when I took it to them after they did the tune up. I tried to take it back the next day and they were trying to charge me even more money for what they should have done the first day. When I asked for a manager they would not let me speak to him and they were very rude. I later found out thru another mechanic that one of the spark plugs had not even been changed. This location is by far the worst!!! The employees were careless with my money and my time.

I want to give TIM a huge shout-out! This dude saved my momma car. I took my car down the road to get checked out and they tried too many schemes so I left but right before I left they did something to my mom's car out of retaliation. This place is located on CROWLEY right before the highway. The man tried to even lie and say he was the manager. If that's the case... Something ain't right. Soo I took the car down the road to Kwik Kar. Service from Tim was PHENOMENAL. He was so experienced he noticed right away what the previous car shop tried to do to destroy the entire engine. Tim is respectful and helping. If he wasn't in the business of working on cars I would suggest he look into the medical field for a side hustle. Long story short. Thank you guys at Kwik Kar and THANK YOU SO MUCH Tim.Service: Oil change

My elderly father with slightly demenchia took his vehicle here which is very close to our house for just a basic oil change & he told them that's ALL he wanted & they ended up flushing his brakes among other things & then billed him $240! Wow great way to take advantage of the ELDERLY! I went to talk to the Manger but they were already closed so now we have to wait till Monday! I am very furious with this people for taking advantage of the old!Service: Oil change

Went for some routine items and a vehicle inspection. Overall everything was taken care of quickly though but when it came time for the vehicle inspection, was told everything was all good when according to the paper it was NOT. Checked the paper once I left the location and found out that the vehicle failed the inspection. This was never brought up when I paid for service, just swiped my card and said Happy Holidays! No explanation or nothing.

I have spent a little extra time at this Kwik Kar location for multiple vehicle oil changes, flush brake fluids, and vehicle inspections. I love the fact that this location always remember me. The guys there are very friendly and welcoming to me and my husband when we bring our vehicles to them!!

I experienced very horrible service, if you can call it service. I paid for a oil change and even brought in my own oil filter. I soon found out after my oil light came on a week later the oil was never changed. After a conversation with Shawn Ferguson the owner we then came to an agreement. I went out of my way to visit the shop on the morning of 10/27/18, to conclude the agreement. Of course no Shawn Ferguson insight. This owner was very rude and made an comment that i could not believe a business owner would say to a customer or potential customer. If you want rude and over price nothing, this is the place for you............. Men never send your wife, children or people you care about to this shop. But if you dare to experience what i did the hours and address is posted. P.S. No Stars you can only post if you rate the service with a star. Im sure the five star posts were submitted by family members Emily Ferguson wife or daughter and friends.
