Chris and his team were very helpful in answering questions I had about my purchase (TL70 6 speed swap). I ve really been enjoying the improved driving experience in my 240z, as the shifting is so much than my previous transmission. Also really like the improved performance in acceleration, which is why I purchased it in the first place. I would recommend purchasing the complete kit, which includes the installation of the bell housing. This makes it a much simpler task than buying a used transmission and then buying all swap kit and doing it all yourself, like I did. Can t wait to get this on the track!

I had Godzilla Raceworks refurbish my original AC compressor and bought the vintage air kit to replace the automatic climate control system. They turned the compressor around very quickly and I was able to get the vintage air kit installed in the car. A little fab work was required, but everything has worked great so far. It is really nice to have an AC system that can blow cold air and a lot of it.

I have a 1978 280z. My car had been sitting for about 1.5 years and needed a few items to be road-worthy. Spoke to Jackson and Chris with excellent communication. I decided to do their multi-point inspection and a leak-down test. Found a list of items that needs to be address but most importantly they found everything that is wrong with it. Did a valve job, fuel line, rear-disk brake, master cylinder and a few more things to get it road worthy. Drove it home 50+ miles and the car is back on the road. Got it inspected the next day and now driving it daily to work. I can't say enough about the crew at Godzilla Raceworks. They are the expert in Datsun and very professional communication. I recommend them 100%. Thank you!!!

I bought a 350z to tinker with and now race on track I brought it to godzilla to be fully checked and repaired it s run like a dream since! i looked everywhere trying to find a shop that specialized in zs and kept running into dead ends. chris and his guys are the best! if you have questions or need repairs chris is super knowledgeable and helpful and i will def be back!

I was in need of some products for my 89 300zx turbo that are getting harder to find. Godzilla Raceworks had everything I needed. The products I bought were everything I wanted and more. I've bought a few kits from these guys. They do a lot to make it easy for your average guy with tools. The products they offer make it super easy to bring my 280Z into the modern world. I now have modern AC, electric fans, and modern EFI for a 46 year old car.They are communicative and helpful whenever I run into an issue and their guides are well thought out.

Where do I start lol!? I first came to Chris in search of a knowledgeable Z mechanic. I had tried other Fort Worth Z shops to maintain my 95 twin turbo, but was often disappointed. Crappy communication, constantly missed delivery dates, only to get the car back and the problems resurface. When I met Chris, I knew I d found my guy. He and his team of knowledgeable mechanics have taken my Z cars to the next level and he now maintains not only my cars, but the rest of my family s as well.

Chris was a great help on my 240SX. I installed a turbo set up and I needed an intake pipe tig welded up. I drove from Oklahoma City to his shop and he knocked it all out. I would highly recommend him and have gone back for multiple things. He also is a Toyota expert and I m into using the Toyota/Lexus 4Runner/GX470 platform for my adventures.

Vehicle sat for months at a time with no work being done. Nearly 2 years after I dropped off the vehicle the work was still incomplete. I decided to pull it out for financial reasons as I got sick of paying to see my vehicle be constantly put on the back burner for other projects. I understand big projects take time, but having to continuously experience going through my vehicle being worked on for a few weeks, then sit for a few months, was exhausting. I felt as if i was given many empty promises by the owner Chris. At one point I was told working on your car does not make us money which is not fun to hear after giving thousands of dollars them. It's disappointing as I really wanted to have their work and performance shine on my Z.I will say the staff and mechanics are wonderful.The mechanic who worked on my car is still in contact with me and helping me finish out this car which I truly appreciate.Sadly, I wish things would've worked out, but I know if i left my Z in their possession it still would be sitting, not getting worked on. I see a lot of people have had good experiences with godzilla, but unfortunately I was not one of them.

I used to be skeptical of businesses in the past because of my family always saying mechanics are crooks while I was growing up. That is NOT true here. Chris and the guys at Godzilla have always shown extreme professionalism, honesty, and clarity with each interaction with me. It provides a new take on automotive mechanic work since most places are seen in a negative light.Whether it be daily maintenance, big service intervals, or custom full car builds, I'll look to Godzilla for any car I have in the future as they can handle anything you throw at them. Give them a chance to earn your trust!

Good group of guys. I've bought a few big ticket items I worked in person; Priddy headgasket mod, 71C conversion. They worked around my schedule to get it all done in time. No issues at all.

I have been super pleased with the work done on my Z32 by the folks at Godzilla. Chris and his team fixed a number of engine related issues I had been experiencing, but also took the time to identify opportunities for strengthening and future-proofing the motor, improving both the longevity and the ability to add more power when I want. Throughout the process, Chris was very professional and clear with his communications, and gave me multiple options at each step along the way. I have owned my 1991 Z since new, and thanks to Chris and the team, it is now as good as new, only better!

Been taking my vehicles to Godzilla for five or six years now. I currently have two 20+ year old cars that I drive, and I go here for all major maintenance and repairs. Staff is knowledgeable and fix the vehicle right the first time.Another big plus is they are upfront with pricing and will give you a quote before work starts.While they really shine with sports cars, I have seen them work on everything from minivans to hearses and they apply the same skill and care to everything.If you need a good mechanic who will do the job well this is the place to go.

Godzilla Raceworks, the name says it all. They genuinely believe in the Fairlady and the brand's history. You drive up to the shop and see Series 1s through modern versions of 370z and more, at least 50 or more; you get a sense that people trust GR with their most prized vehicles. I searched North Texas for a partner to maintain my 1970 Series 1. I searched for about four or maybe five months and found Chris and his team. I reached out via email, and they were super responsive. Then, I called and had a 15-minute conversation with Chris on what I was looking for. In that call, I knew that Chris was knowledgeable and cared about my goals, no matter how small or the available budget. I towed my car from north Dallas to west Fort Worth (about an hour and fifteen away) later that week. His team inspected the vehicle for the items we discussed and gave me recommendations for other potential needs. We developed a plan. My car was up and running in a timely and cost-effective manner. We discovered Godzilla Raceworks when a wire burned off of the alternator of my husband s Datsun 240Z.The 240Z was a rusty project car in 2019. After too many hours to count, my husband and his friend, turned it into a great looking car. Of course, after sitting in the desert for years, there were internal issues to be addressed. The entire car needed rewiring which we had done at a different shop. One day the car wouldn t start and it turns out the wire on the alternator was incorrect. It had burned off! Chris, of Godzilla, pulled out his reference book and showed us what the correct wire should be. We left our Z with Chris and have been very pleased with all his work on the car. He went through the engine correcting all kinds of problems. Fixed a gas leak, rebuilt, and installed a 280Z engine, put in a 5-speed transmission, power steering, added fuel injection, color coat painted the engine and more. We entered a car show and the multicolored engine was a hit! Now, we cannot see ourselves taking our car anywhere else, but to Godzilla Raceworks. Chris and his crew are friendly, efficient, and really talented; a great place to take your car!

Had Chris do a performance clutch, transmission service, and install a transmission brace on my 2004 Z06 corvette. Excellent work, fair price, and good communication. Chris keeps a clean shop and does some pretty impressive custom work to boot. 10/10 would recommend!

Chris Miller at Godzilla Raceworks is a true professional and master of his trade. Our 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross started smoking out of the tailpipe. After getting a diagnosis of a condemned motor from 2 different shops (1 of which was a Mitsubishi dealership), Chris agreed to take a look at the vehicle and see if the engine was salvageable. His team was able to isolate the smoke to the turbo by removing the turbo and testing the engine. NO SMOKE! He did mention some carbon buildup in the engine but not enough to condemn the engine. He ran some new oil and solvents through the engine to break up the carbon and clean the engine. Our car repair bill went from roughly $14,000 for new turbo and engine to $1,850 for a diagnostic work and a REBUILT turbo. Would recommend him to anyone needing repairs!

Godzilla Raceworks has had a huge impact in helping me get my 240Z on the road. The 5-speed trans was an easy bolt-in and included everything I needed, they quickly got me a replacement clutch when I couldn't stand the one I started with, and they even helped out when I was having issues figuring out MegaSquirt and other things. Chris and his crew are top notch. I ve taken all types of cars and trucks to him with a variety of issues over the years and he always gets to the bottom of it. He consistently and correctly diagnoses problems and fixes them the RIGHT way. He s saved me a lot of money over the years but isn t afraid to tell me when it makes sense to spend a little more to avoid future issues. He s honest and extremely capable, which makes him stand head and shoulders above the crowd in a field notorious for the opposite characteristics. Can t recommend him highly enough. Dude can fix anything.

Honest Mechanics are hard to find and Chris is the best of them. He doesn't sugarcoat, lets you know what can be put off/not fixed, or what will cause more damage. I don't own a performance car, but I take both my wife and my car to him exclusively. I highly recommend!

Initially was introduced to Godzilla Raceworks to evaluate a 280 Z I was considering selling. Then, recently had an after market part installed in my car. Both visits were efficient with good communication and the expense was cost effective. Great small business with great service.

I ordered their G37 7AT transmission cooler and while it did take a bit of time what I got was a super high quality transmission cooler where all of the small components are also high quality. Update 4 months and 5k miles later it works awesome no leaks and my transmission stays nice and cool.

The owner, Chris and his guys listened to my complaints and looked at my vehicle. They fixed the issue in a reasonable amount of time. I have no complaints on the service or workmanship with this shop. The price was fair, so can't complain there.
