I have a 30 year old American made truck that most shops won't work on because parts are difficult to find. German Drive didn't hesitate when I came in with transmission problems... Marty gave me his honest opinion with absolutely no pressure and used his contacts from decades of experience in the industry to have a transmission rebuilt and shipped to him to fix my problem (with a multi-year warranty) that could have forced me to scrap my truck for good. His team also fixed some other incidental issues on my truck without asking and without charge. Overall just an outstanding experience and I'm very thankful to find a resource like German Drive.

I do most of my own maintenance and repairs mainly since most places either try to just upsell as much as they can and/or do a poor job on the work. So if I take something to a shop, I really expect great work and care. And these guys deliver! Marty and the staff at German Drive are top notch! I say this having dealt with places of lesser quality. I brought my parts and they were perfectly fine with that and did an excellent job and it was done when they said it would be. Everything from scheduling to letting me know it was complete and ready for pickup, was a great experience. If you've been looking for an independent shop that truly cares about your vehicle, the quality of their work, and their employees.. Go see Marty at German Drive! It's the only place I will take my Audi vehicles to because I know they'll do a quality job and are very reasonable. Having an independent shop that you can trust is really priceless especially these days. Extremely glad to have found them!

This review is way long overdue! When it comes to my car, there s no place I trust but German Drive. I ve been coming to them to take care of my car for a few years now and they always makes you feel like a family. They do quality work in a timely manner and also not to mention they are very reasonable with pricing compared to dealerships places. To Marty, thank you for managing a place that provides top notch service!!

Marty and his team do exceptional work! I have taken two vehicles to German Drive and both were fixed quickly and correctly! Prior to completing any work, Marty calls to provide me with cost of the repairs. He is always professional, honest, and exudes integrity.German Drive is the only place I trust with my vehicles. I have never had an issue with them due to the level of service and excellent work they provide!

German Drive was amazing in helping me with some car troubles. My interior door handle broke on my 2011 Mercedes C300. They were upfront about the costs (which seemed reasonable compared to other places), they were able to get the car in quickly, and did the repair quickly. They even had a workspace so I could work while they were repairing the car. Will definitely be going here for any future car needs. Thank you!!

Will always take my car to this place. Couldn t find a shop to do my brakes because the ebrake was complicated. This shop was able to do it. Got my car back in about 3 days. They were very transparent about pricing and no hidden charges. They broke down all the repairs and each of their costs and told me which would be the priority. Will definitely be back!

I have long used the service of a fellow Christian friend, but was told, when I bought my Volkswagen a couple of years ago, they were only able to perform annual inspection on it. When I realized it needed actual service recently, this friend recommended German Drive without hesitation.The service they provided was precisely what I needed, done quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable rate. Certainly, all further repair needs will be definitely be in the hands of German Drive in Keller, Texas.

extremely professional organization. you can't go wrong in choosing German Drive to be your mechanic. I've used them to work on my BMW AND MERCEDES. They are hands down more cost effective than the dealership. Marty treats you like family. I recommend.

I was having issues with my car and took it to a car service closer to me, just in case. To make a long story short they wanted 10 thousand dollars for a refurbished transmission. I decided to get a second opinion and I am sure glad I did. I brought it to German Drive, a recommendation by a 2nd car service, and found my forever car mechanic. They are top notch from beginning to end. From making my appointment to sitting with Martin, discussing the diagnostics. I did NOT need a new transmission after all. Very honest, straight forward and all around great people. If your looking for a reliable mechanic German Drive is the place to go.

Very honest and helpful. From office staff to workshop technicians, all are professional and tactful. I was concerned, where can I service an MBZ a dealers quality at a reasonable price and I was lucky to find German Drive. a pre purchase inspection done not less that any top class dealers. Will definitely come here for my maintenance needs.

I have only been here twice so far but the work done is impeccable. From the diagnostics all the way up until my car was ready they kept me updated and gave me the right recommendations for my 06 330ci, they kept me in the loop didn't try to upsell on stuff i didn't need which was refreshing, just honest work. Overall the experience was everything I could of wanted and hoped for and some, for that German Drive has gained one more customer and thank you again!

Best experience I ve ever had with a mechanic! My VW had been giving me problems for over a year now and German drive got it in and found the problem and fixed it right away. I ve had my car back a week now and absolutely no issues. Very fair pricing as well I was expecting everything to cost an arm and a leg and to my surprise it was not. Allow me to save you the time, effort and research I did to arrive at this conclusion I wouldn t take our Mercedes anywhere else and here is why!We are fairly new to Keller, Texas and probably like you after finding a good realtor we needed to find a good mechanic. Our 2019 Mercedes GLC 300 needed an A1 service so I diligently called about a dozen automotive service centers I found on Google and Yelp, including the local dealership, to inquire about time and costs. German Drive was actually referred to me by one of the other centers that didn t do work on Mercedes. The gentleman gave me their phone number and said I wouldn t take a Mercedes anywhere else .Melea answered the phone at German Drive. Her Texas accent was cheerful, and she answered my questions confidently and professionally, explaining the costs involved and the time it would take. Melea described the thorough process German Drive uses by taking pictures of all the belts, hoses, tires, filters, and fluids during their full service inspection. This is far and above the general maintenance involved in the oil and filter changes, the fluid and tire check and brake inspection. I booked an appointment for the next morning.The gravel entry to German Drive belies the clean, comfortable air conditioned offices inside. I met Jackie outside and she politely pointed me to the door that would open up our new home for any automotive work we may need in Texas. Once inside a familiar accent filled the air with a warm Texas greeting. Melia helped get my car checked in and had the batteries replaced in both my key fobs at no charge. Then she got me situated in one of several personal wi-fi offices next to the customer waiting room that provided free beverages, coffee and snacks. The office was clean with a very comfortable chair and work area that was quiet and conducive to getting work done. I also began receiving text messages updating me on the next steps. This is a 5 star service center with incredible customer care.Marty owns and runs his facility hands on with pride and attention to detail, both with his staff and his customers, he is the real deal. HIs dad was a mechanic and he is an ASE Master Certified Mechanic who insists and pays for his crew to maintain and update their training and certifications. He is a genuine car enthusiast who has worked on every car you can name and many you probably can t! I was beyond impressed. Melea has two sons, one is a former Navy Seal and Jackie s son is a Master Sergeant and will be home this 4th of July. Marty is from Brooklyn but has long since taken roots in Texas. This company is home grown with all of the modern equipment, computers and technology to service any make and model car you drive.Marty designed the mechanic's work area so that car s move in one direction and don t have to be backed up, this also provides maximum air flow to his crew who are provided a break room area for rest and showers. Each car bay has a screen that receives updates from the computer related to your specific car. Taking good care of the employees who take great care of your car allows the front office to provide amazing customer care while you wait. I am glad German Drive was a referral and am happy to pass on the advice I received, I would not take our Mercedes anywhere else. Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Found German Drive online and wanted to try with a project car I bought. Marty was great explaining everything in how they take care of peoples cars and what I should expect. When I had questions he was always there to answer and offer suggestions. The car runs amazingly very happy with the results. Thank you Marty and the team

I called to have the battery in my 2016 Mercedes GLC changed. I had never used this repair shop before but they were able to get me in the same day! The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable in answering the questions I had. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back!

April 2024 Update: More great work done by Marty and his team, on both my weekend Z3, and also my A6. Marty stood behind his work on the Z3 and made something right. Class act, appreciate his great work. Do not hesitate just take your car here._____________________Don't hesitate on this local shop. After purchasing a 2001 BMW Z3 from a close friend as a "weekend" project, I wanted to establish a relationship with a local Independent shop. I was really looking for a place that didn't just do great, price-competitive work... but more importantly, I wanted a shop that would take time to educate me and give me honest input over the long-term.Marty and the team at German Drive truly impressed me and delivered. Marty is really a ONE of a kind guy. And his staff and colleagues were patient, respectful, knowledgeable, cared about the job.The work was high quality, ZERO pressure, just a helpful group of people that gave me the "menu" of options. VERY transparent, documentation, detailed pictures, etc...While I've only used them once for a decent chunk of work on this red Z3, (spark plugs / coils, evap fuel pump, brake light switch, antenna gasket, etc.).their team really cared about what they're doing. I priced them against two other indy shops in town and they were notably less (esp on the sparks and coils), while being WAY more personable to work with.You really cannot go wrong with German Drive. Cheers to Marty and his team for being down to earth good people. Was getting sick of the dealer charging outrageous amounts so decided to call around after the dealer wanted to charge me $235 to run diagnostics to even tell me what is wrong with my car. I called around and had difficulty finding a mechanic that would work on my Range Rover until someone in a Facebook Moms' group recommended German Drive. I called to find out there diagnostic fee was MUCH less and after they ran the diagnostics, they were HONEST with me toinform me the issue should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which extended beyond my initial expired warranty. He could have charged me to fix it there because I would not have known that was covered. I will always start here with any car problems now :)

Last few time I brought my 2015 bmw here. They forgot to put bolts back and broke the air intake by forcing it in place. I brought it up to their attention and brought the car in for another problem a month later and was told they were going to fix the broken air intake. They also forgot the bolt up the power steering rack. They had my car for a month and I was not fix. The mechanic that work on my car is either incompetent or doesn t care. Im very dissatisfied with the service and never bringing my car here again. They need to do the job right the first time and make sure everything is put back together the right way.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my car to get serviced here. I also asked if they would check and see what was wrong with my trunk because it wouldn t open. They did the service and also checked and fixed the trunk for me. They only charged me for the service. I had went to somewhere else to get my trunk fixed and they quoted me a ridiculous price. But GermanDrive fixed it for me. The place is clean, they have snacks, coffee and other refreshments. The staff are very nice. I would go there again. Thank youServices: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Marty is in a class of his own! Great to work with, tons of experience, won t nickel and dime you and they do great work. I got lucky being so close but, anyone in the dfw metro with a German auto should be coming to German drive.
