I was given a price for my transmission rebuild and when I picked up my classic car the price didn t change. In fact my battery gave me some trouble due to corroded post (my fault) Clint cleaned up my battery and charged it to get me home. My car is running smooth this business is old fashioned good service at a good price. I would recommend to all my family and friends.

They ve had my car four times over the last 6 or 7 weeks, initial service was great with fixing my transmission. Issues arose when I had to bring my car back due to massive fluid leaks. After they resolved the fluid leak issue I did not make it home which was less than 4 miles away and my check engine light come on. Took the car back and mechanic who had worked on my car told me he knock on a vacuum hose while cleaning the fluid mess and was causing it to throw a code for running lean. Fast forward 3 weeks later, I m now being told they re trying to charge me to fix problems they created. Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want longterm headaches and to be double charged for their mistakes.

I took my 06 Dodge Ram 1500 to Clint s about 8+ years ago. Great experience then...Fast forward to today.I thought I was having transmission issues so I took it to Clint s to get it diagnosed. Turns out it wasn t the transmission at all. It s still in good working order. It was a miss fire according to Clint. I m going to start with replacing the spark plugs first then go from there.Bottom line here is that Clint identified the issue and gave me a list of things to check.I still believe in the Good in people especially when it comes to automotive repair.Clint has been running his business for over 20 years now and is honest and will also educate you.If you dig deep enough you ll find the right person for the job.Thanks so much Clint for your help.Folks if you re in the area and in need of transmission repair Clint s transmission is the place.2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8140,000 miles.

Clint was great. If you have transmission issues, you have to give him the work. Most places penny and dine you. He saved me lots of money just by visiting. Great place and I will definitely take all my vehicles to Clints Transmission for future work.

I love this place. Ive taken my car here several times just to check out Clint himself. I tell you what, he feels out a pair of wranglers in the right places. (if you know what I mean). I fell in love with him the first time when he showed me his dipstick. It was completely full and then some. Just the way I like my transmission fluid. Keep up the good work and keep it full. Thanks

So I stopped by this shop today to ask a question and get some advice. He took the time to come out from the garage and answer all my questions when it was obvious I wasn't actually going to be a paying customer. That seems nice, especially nowadays. I'm bringing my truck here if I ever have a transmission problem I cant fix myself!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I brought me vehicle here to fix my differentials and leave me a terrible job now my jeep make noise the differentials. I took him three times and the last time he was exhaling oil from the front differential and he told me that his work had no warranty. and I hang up the phone. I charge 1150 dollars and later. it doesn't matter to him. nothing of his work I do not recommend to anyone

Clint is one of a kind. An impeccably honest,and very knowledgeable technician. He and Joan have a great operation. Give him a try. He knows more than just transmissions. He also has a very strong background in general mechanical repairs. Good people.

They did a great job rebuilding the transmission on my '72 Mustang, and they did it for a reasonable price.

Clint and his guys are first rate. Family owned business with his Mom running the office.They are fantastic. Ive had 2 different Ford transmissions built there for about half the price of several other shops with good reps, but high price. Trannys shifted great and Ive had no problems with my 1992 Ford F350 or 1999 Ford F550 Fontaine Classic Traveler that pulls either a race car hauler or Big Tex 22GN flatbed. If your running a heavy truck pulling anything, or like myself with a Hotshot business, you cant do better than Clint's and I drive from Alvarado. Its worth it.

Took my vehicle expecting to spend a lot of money on a transmission ended up being a speed sensor. The other transmission place wanted to charge me for a new transmission. Clint didn't nickel and dime me and only charged me for the work needed. Will definite refer this place to anyone needing transmission work. Thanks for all your help Clint.

This guy does shady work I had a 4r100 "built" for my powerstroke it lasted 3 years less then 6000 miles . I asked for it to get the best of parts he said the trans will outlast the truck. It's an excursion just our family vacation ride not even a daily driver . Called today to just get told to kick rocks that's pretty sorry the original lasted 15 years and his lasted 3 .

The worst communication I've ever had with an automobile repair shop.Not once did the mechanics ever contact me about my vehicle. I had to call *them* to find out the status of my car after dropping it off 4 hours prior. Even then, the front desk secretary had to relay repair information to me--not the mechanic.Moreover, I never received a call to have a discussion about the history of my vehicle. If a mechanic had bothered to contact me (or the front desk secretary had been instructed to inquire), I could have informed them that the part they were recommending to replace, had already been replaced.Quite frankly, I cannot imagine why someone would use this business unless they absolutely hated speaking with another human being.

***AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!*** If i could give them a negative amount of stars, I would! I was reccomended this place by a former employee, so I figured i'd be in good hands. Well, I was VERY wrong. They rebuilt my transmission, sure, great. What they didn't tell me is that they stripped my studs off of my front right tire. Fast forward to today- I've been having issues with one of my tires having a small leak so i took it to discount tire. Upon arriving at the tire place they told me that they would be unable to work on my car due to the studs being stripped-they wouldn't be able to put the tire back on safely. I placed a call to Clint's, They told me i could bring my car in and they'd look at it. Ummm, Sorry that i have a job and can't really just take off on the fly so you guys can take a look and something you know damn well you broke in the first place. Then it got to the point where the receptionist and a mechanic pretty much argued with me for 5 minutes, telling me that they didn't do anything, acting like i'm just making this up for my health.Then they add on "they've been doing this for 25 years and no one would ever strip lug nuts off of a tire." SO WHAT DID THEY JUST JUMP OFF OF MY TIRE FOR FUN?! I'll tell you, their customer service leaves much to be desired, I'd probably get better customer service from a piece of roadkill on the side of the highway. This was the last place i had my car worked on, so it's obviously them. The gentleman at discount tire said it looked as if they used an impact gun to take them off, breaking them in the process. (SHEER LAZINESS) do yourselves a favor and avoid this place AT ALL COSTS!! I am going to tell every single person i come into contact with how terrible this place is. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Please do not take your vehicle here for repair. Clint ( the owner) is a nice Guy but cares zero if the job is well done or not. I spent over $670.00 in repairs and was 100% dissatisfied. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER MECHANIC!

Did exactly what was promised. Costs were quoted and didnt change. Even fixed what Autonation screwed up totally and when Autonation left me high and dry. Clint's handled it. I will use Clints for transmission work going forward.

I would recommend this transmission shop to anybody he is a top 10 transmission man he is a great rebounder and he knows the stuff he's got a good staff great on advice and a very good attitude on everything

Had my transmission done on my 2007 Chevy impala works great they even did a bunch of extra work making sure my vehicle was ready to go when I got there definitly coming back for anything else I need done

Took my car to the transmission shop put it in he done a diagnostic on it he told me what it was needed and he fixed exactly what was needed and he saved me about $1,300. I definitely recommend him to anyone that needs transmission work.

Never rebuilt my transmission . Told me they did . Still charged me $800.00 . Drove less then 500 miles before it went out . Don't trust these guys , it like a near death experience with them .
