Have a 2008 Toyota Highlander Was having problems getting speed over 50 MPH and I thought there was a Transmission problem but turns out The Engine needed a complete tuneup Coils and plugs Fuel injectors cleaned Terry and his crew Are the best in the business They were so friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable . Brought our sons 2006 Lexus IS 350 to him. By far the best mechanic we've ever used! Explained the issue and and fix very well then delivered a rebuilt transmission in less than 2 weeks, with a 2year 24k warranty. I highly recommend!!ECG

I had a 2015 Subaru with a bad CVT transmission. I bought a used CVT transmission out of a wrecked Subaru. Terry, the owner and mechanic, told me that he would put it in. He did a good job of installing the transmission and checking it out. He did it at a very good price. Terry is a very honest man and I would definitely use him again for transmission or motor work.

IF YOU HAVE ENGINE PROBLEMS GO HERE - Great shop that will fix you up right and honestly! Terry is knowledgeable, hardworking, and straightforward. He truly is a car doctor and my 1993 Ford F-150 drives like a dream because of his work! I found this lil shop on a Yelp search (good reviews) and I've been a repeat happy customer. I broke down (like, engine smoking, y'all) on Wednesday and I knew exactly where to go. Terry got me back driving my baby by Thursday afternoon, running better than ever and not at a huge wallet hit. I bought my '93 several months ago and it's been an adventure to restore but Terry has been encouraging and realistic through it all. You can tell he has a true passion for autos. I've had master cylinder, clutch, water pump, thermostat, coolant, transmission belt, and radiator work done here.

I had a vehicle that the transmission was slipping. I was referred to them by Pratt automotive , I m very happy with the service I received. Terry is a straight shooter. He doesn't sugar coat what he sees wrong with your vehicle. His diagnostic ability is impeccable and I find him honest and trustworthy. Guys like Terry are not easy to find. This review is written by a guy with an automotive degree and I previously held ASE in steering suspension and alignment, heating and air conditioning, electrical, and brakes. I retired from all that and work in the medical field - just to shed light on my perspective and background.

Terry is amazing. I took my car to another transmission place but he didn t have time to look at it, so he referred me to Terry at automatic transmission works. Terry looked at it and called me back the very next morning. Unfortunately my cvt transmission was going out. He informed me of the problems and was patient with me because I don t understand a lot about transmissions. He is very kind and quoted me a great price on this very expensive problem. I will recommend him to anyone and if I ever have a problem again I would surely go to him.

Terry has been great to work with. He is consistently transparent and helpful. He has always taken the time to explain to me what's going on under the hood of my truck or my wife's car. He is trustworthy and I highly recommend his shop.

Terry is awesome to work with. Our CVT cratered and we needed it replaced. We ordered direct from LKQ (great too!) and Terry was able to get it in the car on schedule and for a great price. If you need transmission service, definitely give him a call. He's a ball of energy and fun to talk with on top of it all.

Terry has been amazing through this entire process. We brought in our vehicle in after experiencing some gear slippage and engine lights. He did some analysis and came back with a couple of options. He was beyond patient with our decision making process and an integral part in deciding whether the car was worth fixing or not based on its stage of life. His honesty and assistance is a breath of fresh air in an industry that often gets a bad rep. Beyond that, he warranties his work and stands firmly behind his results. If he isn't sure of something he will tell you up-front. I would highly recommend Automatic Transmission Works to anyone experiencing issues with their transmission.

After being taken to two mechanics with new parts being replaced, they weren t able to fix my clutch to Engage properly, but this guy did! He took it apart and tracked the issue down and got it fixed like new!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
