Let me just start off by saying that, Cesar, saved my family today. We re currently moving from across states and it s been anything but an easy move. As we re traveling down highway 10, in our dodge ram truck with our 15 foot trailer attached, our two kids and 4 dogs in the back we had a tire on our trailer pop. Now I m a premium triple A member so you can understand my frustrations when they tell me there s nothing they can do for me and that I was basically out of luck. Only to my surprise I went on google just to find the closest shop possible and Cesar came to our rescue no hesitation in 40 degree weather. There s no amount of gratitude and thanks I can give to this gentlemen.

Super expensive, avoid if you can. Try other towing companies before giving this company a call. I paid $1500 for 1 mile tow for broke down semi truck, not wrecked or anything just straight up tow.

Cesar and his crew know their business. Absolutely the best and very professional. We had a blow out, our 5th wheel and truck were totaled. They managed to get it back to the yard, let us salvage what we could of our belongings. I would 100% recommend this business. I can't recommend this business enough, some of the best customer service I have received anywhere. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure I was able to get back on the road following my car being towed. Due to issues on my end, I was unable to immediately pay for my car, and in this time Brandon drove me another location to wait and secure a hotel. While I waited he provided clear updates over text, and when everything was all clear, he drove back to pick me up and return me to Barbee to retrieve my vehicle. The entire time he and his son were extremely pleasant and helpful, doing everything they could to get me through a potentially stressful process comfortably, they were both awesome. If anyone in the area needs towing support, Barbee is an amazing choice. Thank you Barbee!Service: Local hauling

I know this review is extremely late (they took care of us almost 8 months ago) but I could not let this opportunity pass. My wife and I were stranded on 4th of July weekend of 2022 about 30-40 miles west of Ft. Stockton. Barbee Wrecker Service were the only folks we could get hold of. They came and got us and our car, towed us back to their shop, quickly fixed our tire and got us back on the road. Brandon and Hunter (they were a father/son team and I hope I didn't reverse their names) were kind and professional and kept making sure that we were ok and were apologetic for taking so long - the thing is, to us they were moving at warp speed. I hope you never need their service but if you find yourself stranded or in need in the Fort Stockton area - PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Barbee Wrecker Service.Services: Car towing, Tire change

The only good thing I can say about this company is that the tow truck driver who towed my 18 Wheeler to Odessa did an extremely good job! He was very nice and helpful and even dropped me off at my hotel. outrageous pricing! I'm not an oil filled driver I was just simply broke down I do believe $1517 is a bit much to be told 94 miles. $700 just to hook up is close to theft of services just because you can!Service: Special vehicle towing

My family and I were driving down interstate 10 and the wheel on our trailer came completely off and left us stranded on the side of the highway about 30 miles East of Fort Stockton. We called Barbee towing to come get us and Jesus was there in less than an hour. He was very professional and super nice. He took great care of us and got our trailer towed back to Fort Stockton with no issues. I definitely recommend Jesus and also Barbee towing for any needs you may have. We received the kind of professional towing and personal service from Barbee Towing ( Cesar and Brandon) you would hope for when your car breaks down a long way from home and you need help getting it somewhere to be repaired. We needed Barbee Towing twice while passing through Ft. Stockton. The first tow Cesar arrived minutes after being called and brought the car to a local repair location but only after first bringing us and assisting with our luggage at a local hotel. When the car could not be repaired locally we needed it to be towed to El Paso, 275 miles away. Calling Barbee they were there the next day to assist us with that tow. Brandon was the driver for this trip and was personable, respectful, and skilled driver for this lengthy trek. He went out of his way to assist us by dropping us and luggage off at our hotel first and then the car at the dealer. Barbee Towing made a bad situation of breaking down in the middle of nowhere by providing the help anyway they could!Service: Car towing

When our new car broke down in the desert, we never expected our tow truck driver, Cesar, to offer help beyond the scope of towing. However, he connected us with friends who gave us a ride to Odessa to find a rental car. He offered a warm and calming presence and made an unfortunate and scary experience memorable for all the right reasons. We will never forget how helpful and kind he was and we are thankful to have been connected to Barbee towing.

Called because it says 24 hours, they don t do anything at night, asked if he could just lift and move to the side to get a semi out of a sand hole and he said that is 700.00 per the hour & proceeded to say that is going to be about 1-4 hours of work, from the time the truck leave his yard. The location is less then 32 miles from the yard. he just didn t want to work .. no pues wow.

Driving across country, I broke down on I-10 a few miles from Fort Stockton around evening time. Barbee Wrecking had a truck there within 15 minutes to help me with a tow, dropped me off at my hotel I had to emergency book, and took my car to a trusted auto repair shop to service in the morning. Experience was great! They were extremely helpful and everything from start to finish took under an hour.Service: Car towing

Brandon went above and beyond when my car broke down on a four wheel drive trail in Big Bend National Park. After the vehicle was back at our trailer, he came back the next day and gave me a ride to get parts twice out of the kindness of his heart! Five stars isn t enough for these folks. Brandon and Jesus coordinated a complicated tow for our large RV and pulled everything off quickly and seamlessly. They made arrangements with a mechanic for us and after the long tow, Jesus drove us to our rental car all the way in Midland. Jesus sincerely went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful.Service: Special vehicle towing

Our subarus engine completely failed about 10 miles outside of town. Jesus got to us quickly, towed our car to the auto shop, and even gave us a ride to our hotel. The next day he gave us another ride to the auto shop and back because he knew otherwise we would be walking miles in the hot sun. He went above and beyond and we will never forget his kindness!

Can I give this business more than five stars? My daughter's car broke down outside Fort Stockton and we were stranded in the middle of the desert in 104 degree heat. Within minutes after I called, Brandon showed up to tow the car and keep it in their lot so it wouldn't be vandalized. Over the next few days as I tried to determine next steps, he answered my phone calls and questions promptly and knowledgeably. I greatly appreciate his willingness to help in a very stressful situation. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs towing service.Service: Car towing

Thursday evening, Feb 4, 2016, my sister and I were traveling from Mesa, AZ to Denham Springs, LA when 20 miles east of Fort Stockton a tire on our boat trailer blew. We made it to the side of the road and called AAA who could not help us. That is another story. I googled for a nearby wrecker and decided on Barbee mostly because the lady who answered the phone seemed so considerate. They send a wrecker right away. The state trouper, Trouper Corral, who stopped to check on us stayed with us till he knew the wrecker was nearby. Cesar, our wrecker driver and service guy was wonderful. He was so helpful, courteous, and professional. He changed our tire, which we nor the trouper had been able to do. He checked the other tire and put air in it. Since he wasn't sure about our other tire, he followed us back to Fort Stockton with his lights flashing and me driving around 40 miles per hour. We were so relieved that he did. I was afraid an eighteen wheeler might come up on us too fast or something. I can't stress how courteous, considerate and professional he behaved. AND it didn't hurt that he was a very good looking young man. Thank you to Barbee Wrecker Services for hiring people of quality.

Very prompt and courteous service. Our truck lost steering, causing truck and RV to run off the road. Barbee towed us back to Fort Stockton; replaced all four RV tires. Provided a connection with a mechanic that was able to fix our truck within 24 hours. Dropped our RV off at a trailer park nearby so we could stay there while all the repairs were being done. All of this after 3 pm, Friday, July 5. Cannot say enough great things about Barbee and its servicemen Brandon, Cesar and John. God took the wheel and kept us alive. Barbee fixed all the problems.

The best roadside assistance! He helped us find a hotel and gave us directions on how to fix our problem. Brandon goes above and beyond for his customers. Hands down worth every penny, and it wasn't that expensive at all. Hopefully I don't need to, but would definitely use them again.

I give them a 2 star because their driver was professional, recommended me a nice hotel to stay at, and a nice mechanic to go to plus he dropped me off at the hotel. Other than that.I got quoted on the phone, just to show up and get charged double.

What a FANTASTIC wrecker service!!! Truly have grasped Southern hospitality. Broke down off I-10 and had another wrecker get me and rake me over the coals with charges and sent me to a horrible repair shop who also tapped my bank account. Barbee rescued me from them on Christmas Eve and was kind enough to let me stay at their RV park for FREE for 6 days until a well reputed mechanic was available. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We didn't end up using them for the tow, however the professionalism received in helping me resolve an issue five hours from my San Antonio warehouse was over and beyond what we could have hoped to receive. Donald Trump gives you a big thumbs up from San Antonio. Thanks again... highly recommend using them if you live in the immediate area.

On my way to Killeen my truck took a dump just outside fort Stockton. I was towing my motorcycle and had a bunch of stuff in the bed. Cesar showed up, hooked up the truck then the trailer super fast. Gave me a ride to drop my trailer/motorcycle at his yard where it could be safe for the night then took my truck to a mechanic who would work on it first thing in the morning so I could get on the road as early as I could. He then gave me a ride back to the hotel. I can t believe the customer service, so grateful I came across cesar in this circumstance. I hope you don t need their service but if you do need it I d go with them 10/10.

They were quick and very helpful in getting the simple tow i needed and very affordable I tried a different company before i called them and they were wanting to charge me over $700 for the same tow that this awesome company charged $250 for and only a 25min wait time compared to 2.5-3 hr wait time from the other company

Have you ever broke down in the middle of nowhere 900 miles from home. Who do you call who do you trust. May I suggest Barbees wrecker. We called and made contact with Cesar. He was over 100 miles away. About 1 1/2 hour later he arrived Our vehicle was underivable. Cesars large skid wrecker loaded our vehicle the two of us our luggage in a large air conditioned cab and transported us to a motel. The local dealership said they couldn t do the job for several weeks. Cesar found EZ garage close by and dropped the car there. Cesar followed up with us and kept us informed. When the parts arrived the next day the repairs where made and we were on the road. CESAR WITH barbees wrecker is an OASIS in the desert. Highly recommend. Very trustworthly

On July 15, 2020 my family & I were traveling to Georgia from New Mexico, we were hit by a semi, that forced our suv to the median. Everyone from the Ft. Stockton police to the towing service was amazing! The tow truck driver, Jesus , was very helpful with getting my family situated w/lodging & transportation to the ER. There were no cabs, rental car companies or other transportation services in Ft. Stockton, but Jesus & his wife went above and beyond by driving me to Odessa, Tx (which was over an hour away). to get a rental. I was absolutely speechless that they did that for us!Upon returning back to the impound yard the company s courtesy continued, in my opinion this is a top tier establishment! Thank you all so much!

The folks here are some of the kindest people we've ever met. They helped us above and beyond to have closure after a tragic loss. God bless you all. We are praying for y'all dealing with your own recent loss. Can't say enough how grateful we are. 5 star +++

I just called this company to ask about when they will be selling the vehicles that were not claimed by the owners. I was told that the secretary handles all of that business and that she was not available. The man I talked to hung up the phone before saying bye. (Which is extremely rude and unprofessional.) I will not be accepting any services from people like that.
