Mr. Floyd at the front counter is a beast and always on top of helping everyone efficiently. The other workers in the garage have been hit or miss. Most are very friendly and helpful, although one guy I ve interacted with just seemed irritated and bothered when asked a simple question.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. On this visit, the wait time was very long. There was only five bays in use which was the reason the wait was so long. Maybe the MWR can take all the money they have for the soldiers and use it to fix the bays so we don't need to wait there all day to use the facility.

20 bays but only have 2-3 "working"?... are u joking? 4 hour wait on a wedeaday afternoon mixed with attitude from the civiliian at the counter. This place has so much potential, doesnt seem like they read reviews either.

Staff is cool but absolutely worst experience ever solely due to the ridiculously long wait. Literally wasted 4 hours of my life in this place just for a 30 minute oil change

Inexpensive and helpful. Had my steering pump and alternator changed for about $385. They also helped out when I changed my brakes pads, rotors, and calipers

The shop receptionist/clerk has a reputation of treating clients like peasants. Make sure to follow the receptionist clerk instructions step by step to avoid sarcasm. The shop clerks are semi willing to assist, more less than often. Best to do all work yourself to avoid the feeling of their unwillingness to assist in troubleshooting.

This worker yaps all day and wastes my time while I'm trying to start working in my bay, half of them are negative and annoying, I just want to work on my car without smarta-- comments

Decent customer service, some of the mechs just look at you like you re dumb then they ask if you need help and when they do it s in the most unwanted way.Even though that s what they re there for.The guy at the front desk is pretty helpful, I lost my card and he helped me get a new one. Did it all with a minor attitude too. They do have all the tools needed to do any job/repair you need to do and it s only $10 every hour for a bay. Those are my only two reason why I m giving them 4 stars.

There is this one black man that works in the bay with the nastiest attitude, he acts like he doesn t want to be there, every time I go there looks at me rude and has to make a obnoxious and sarcastic remark. Asked him to sign me out of the bay and he looked at me and said I should have ask someone else because apparently he was so busy watching videos on his phone.

Everytime I come here to fix something on my car, there is a long waiting list or some issue that can't be done. Just go somewhere else.

Customer service here is horrible! Good facility for the soldiers but some of the employees that work in the bay need to check their attitude big time!

After getting the safety Card to work in the shop it's great. You can rent tools or have one of the mechanics do it for you at a fraction of the cost.

This place is AWESOME!!! Where else can you go and have a complete mechanic shop at your disposal for very little charge and certified mechanics to answer questions? NO WHERE!!! I had a crazy job to do on my truck that should have taken 30 minutes max, it turned into a 5 hour nightmare and they helped me every time I needed it. Everyone was polite amd knowledgeable and I recommend this to everyone. Thanks to the whole crew who helped me. YA'LL ARE AWESOME!!!

Great shop with all the tools you need for most repairs. The staff was very helpful when I asked questions or asked them to check my work while doing front brakes. The person checking out tools was also very helpful, explaining what may or may not work and what might be better. I found no issues with any of the staff. If you're rude, expect the same back.

Fantastic facility. I ve utilized these facilities in at least 4 installation. They are all similar in many ways and provide Soldiers much convenient in saving and learning about your vehicle.Ft Hood has a great facility and very competent staff.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

This place is pretty genius! It is a lot cleaner and organized than I expected it to be. They have mechanics to help should you need it and they hold people accountable for their rented spaces. It is worth the drive from Austin, for me, to have the space and equipment to work on my truck.

If you're a DYI type of person, don't lay o. Your back to do work on your car. Prices are very low, and the staff is super knowledgeable. Also, they have a shop that does work, but I'm a DYI type of guy so I can't talk about that type of service they provide.

There's no other place that I know of like this in the area so 5 stars.. many military bases have them.. I'm a veteran with access to FT Hood so access may be limited for some. for those who can access the area you can work on your own vehicles and projects they have lifts and tool boxes to borrow from. I do my own oil changes after I found that the dealership wasn't changing my oil filters or using the correct oil. this place is perfect for that..

This is a great facility ruined by bad attitudes. I have been there 3 times. There are a couple of gentlemen working there that are helpful and have a good attitude to accompany their knowledge, however the rest, which are the majority, set the tone of the facility with horrible attitudes. The customer is an annoyance whilst they collect their paycheck. On my last trip, I had to ask the mechanic 3 times for the tool. When I signed out my tool box he said he has the piece that was all i really needed. What should have been a 25 minute quick job became an hour and 20 minute job that only ended when i was asking for a different tool on the 3rd asking and he goes, oh, just use this, the tool I really needed. It is unfortunate they are so bad. I know it is going to end up with me spending much more money using a local mechanic rather than using the shop because I have become confident that I would not receive the assistance when I get a hang-up working on a project at Sprockets. Get 2 stars only because it is a great service with all the tools you need for the work on your vehicle. The employees take it from a 5 star service down.

Excellent place for the do-it-yourself mechanic. It has all the tools and equipment you need. The only drawback is that some of the staff can be temperamental and rude.

The previous reviews are pretty spot on. I've been stationed here at FT. Hood for about 18 months. Due to the convenience factor of being able to have the necessary tools and space available to do self service, I've used the auto shop services maybe 5 times. Unfortunately, the workers there are difficult to work with. It does seems as though they are being bothered to assist.

They re the real deal!! I don t usually right reviews but these guys and gals deserve the recognition. The Firestone on base doesn t light a candle to Sprocket you can do a lot yourself or they can do it for you for a very reasonable price. I ll make sure everyone I know is aware of Sprocket. This might be the hidden jewel of Fort Hood!!!!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

If you are active duty retired or a dependent and you like working on your own vehicle this is the place to be. You can fix your own car with the use of their tools. They have bays with hydraulic lifts, you can do oil change ,brakes to large engine work. If you need alignment they have a professional on premises. You go in put your name on list and when call get to work. Open from Wed-Sun. Check them out online.

I just had my a/c recharged for $65. Jeep Patriot. I didnt even ask about a mechanic doing it I know it is way more. Ron was very nice to me and so was the tool man; both are/were very helpful! I have been coming here many years and hope to be coming many more. They save me a lot of money!

The manager is super awesome but the guy who was helping me get the bearings off my differential really screwed me over. Decides he wants to help me cut the bearings off and yeah he cut it off alright and also cuts half way through my differential. After, he tries telling me its ok to put in my car, like hell it is. Now I'm set back another several hundred dollars on my build to get a new differential.
