Grady Jr. provides high quality timely service on my car. He saved me nearly $350 on my alternator replacement instead of going to a big name brand down the street. He's honest, tells you what your car needs and what can wait. Great family owned auto shop!

This place is amazing and professional place to take your mechanic work to, they go above and beyond to check out and fix your car to meet your needs and your car needs as well, they are nice, professional, and do there job great and helped me out so much with what was needed. Walked in with a fairly simple straightforward request and bro tried to tell me my fluid is a lifetime fluid. Clown face in there sounded just like the dealership. Wouldn t let this shop touch my shi with a 10 foot pole.

This is my second time coming here for services on my car. They are so nice and helpful especially in explaining how to maintain your vehicle. They offer you food and coffee while you wait. And if you book an appointment a few days before the wait time is less than 2 hours. Also, Michelle was very kind and helpful. She should be promoted! Excellent customer service from her. 10/10 service :)Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

From start to finish Stewarts automotive was a great experience! The staff and mechanics are very helpful and explain the issues really well. I had a few issues with my truck that the Ford dealership couldn't fix. Stewarts took care of the problems, and my truck was finished quicker than I expected. I love the service provided by Stewart s. They stand behind their work to ensure it is top-tier. I recently got an oil change then because I don t drive the car daily, I realized a week later that it was leaking oil. A phone call led to a house call to fix the issue less than 20 minutes later. I m a forever customer! Thank you, Stewart s!

I typically like to do my own repairs on my vehicle, but sometimes you just have to leave the work to the professionals. I've found that you're not just paying for some parts and an install, but your actually paying for experience.I absolutely loved working with Stewarts Automotive. I searched the Forney area for a good company and based on reviews alone, I chose to give them a try and I'm really glad I did.They took excellent care of me from the time they picked up the phone and took my call to when I rolled away in my car. I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs looking for a friendly and knowledgeable mechanic shop.

I have been going here since 2017. To me they are the best mechanics in town!!They do great work and offer competitive pricing and do their best to get your vehicle in working order at the best price possible.They are honest and straightforward and will first discuss options before working on your car. So yes as far as mechanics go, I would recommend this establishment.

Everyone was so nice, kind and attentive. They resolved my car issue without any inflated costs, nor tried to sell me unnecessary stuff like air filters unlike jiffy lube. They seem honest and fair prices. They have my business from now on. Fully recommend! A+

Great service. Was able to find and fix issues faster and for less money than other places. A bit of a longer drive for me, but worth it. He's been servicing others in my family for decades, and I finally have him a shot. Worth it. Will be coming here from now on. Just found and fixed a coolant leak on my diesel for half the price of Horizon Auto.

Holy smokes these guys are great! They saved me $971, and they had my truck fixed within 24 hours.I had originally taken my truck to Platinum Ford in Terrell. After days of not hearing back from them, they finally quoted me $940 for the master brake cylinder, plus $153 for the diagnosis.I called Stewarts, and they quoted me $400 for the same work. I took it here.As it turns out, my master cylinder was fine and there was just a large hole worn in the brake line (which Ford did not catch). Total repairs at Stewart's cost me $122, AND they had it fixed in less time than it took to get Ford to call me back.Even better, Grady gave me the old broken brake line to show the people at Ford. The guy at Ford took one look at the brake line and issued me a refund for the bad diagnostic work ($153).Stewarts has my business for as long as I live in the area. Great idea, Grady, to take the busted brake line in to show the folks over at Ford.

I have a 2015 Chrysler 200S that needed a brand new engine - During this pandemic the auto manufacturing industry has been delayed due to shutdowns. I called around trying to get quotes on new engines from different manufacturers. I ended up choosing Jasper Engines, which is a great company. I asked Jasper Engines who they would recommend in my area to install the engine, they Gave me two names, Stewart s Automotive, and Stewart s Automotive. Jasper Engines explained that Stewart s has been installing their engines for some time, and had zero complaints. The Father & Son Owned Business can be trusted to do what s best for the car & the owner. Due to delays in manufacturing I thought it might be best during the process to go direct to the original manufacturer Mopar, however Stewart s Automotive steered me away from that decision, as Jasper Engines offer a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty on their Engines, which is tough to beat. The team at Stewart s automotive are trustworthy, and do solid work. 5 stars, I won t go anywhere else.Service: Engine repair

I've been going to Stewart's over the past 5 years and I can't say enough about them. Over the years I've visited many mechanics and none have been more trustworthy, and honest than Mr. Stewart and his son Grady.Here is a somewhat long winded but telling example of the kind of straight forward and honest dealings I've had with them. Last summer I noticed my ac wasn't working well so I took into a large chain dealership to have them check. After running their tests they told me I needed a new compressor because it was leaking. It was going to be $850.00 and there wasn't any way around it. I called Mr. Stewart and asked if he could give me a bid on the compressor to make and model. He told me it didn't sound right and that he wanted me to bring it in. I was apprehensive because of my busy schedule and assured him that the compressor was leaking due to their tests and to just give me a bid. He continued to insist that he wanted to look at it because in his words "those shouldn't leak and something doesn't sound right."So to cut to the chase I brought it in had him look it over and to come and find out the coils weren't secured properly so he just needed to tighten them down. After the obligatory I told you so look I was on my way. Needless to say I got my $150 inspection fee back from the other and am now taking everything to Mr. Stewart.If you need straight-forward and honest work than these are your guys!

This father and son automotive repair shop is highly recommended for quality of work and much needed honesty in the repair business. You can rest assured that your vehicle repairs will be done right and at an affordable price. There's no other shop In town i would trust with my truck than Stewart's Automotive.

Hands Down GREAT!!!!. Moving to a new city, let alone state can be stressful as it is. I had issues towing my household goods so I took my truck there to get air bags put in and they found other issues with my suspension and they did not charge me extra to fix it. It was late in the evening and I later asked them if they have time to look at my A/C which was giving me issues for years (3 years to be exact) but other shops wanted to charge me a minimum of 4-6 hours labor to diagnose after throwing hundreds of dollars into her. Needless to say, the problem persisted until I came to Stewart's Automotive. Grady (Sr) said, "pop the hood" and figured the problem in less than 15 minute (plus we talked for about a hour). WOW!!! The part was something that I could've replaced but wanted them to do since they found the issue. They ordered the part the next day and installed it while I waited and they only charged me like 15 minutes of labor to install plus the cost of the part. I actually told them to charge me at least for a full hour (to cover the diagnose time from the night before) but Grady (Jr) said, "This is what we do". True Professionals. I will always look to these guys first!!! Thanks.

Honest and friendly are not how most mechanics shops are described however, Stewart's is the exception. Highly recommend and 10-stars!

My family has been using this business for many years and I don't think you can find a better mechanic anywhere. Honest friendly service and genuinely really nice people who know their stuff. Reasonable and they won't tell you that you need any kind of repairs if you don't , even if you are a woman who knows nothing about cars.

Honest and fair these guys are. Great team never leaves you hanging. Knowledgeable and helpful. Had some ball joints pressed in cause they had a machine. I brought the control arms up he told me to grab them later. If you've tried doing this yourself it's a pain without a press. Gave me a fair price for their time. Great mechanics.

Stewart and his son are a throwback to the days when you could really trust someone to find the best way to get what you really need done and at a reasonable price. We asked around town before we started using them (3 or 4 years ago) and multiple people suggested Stewart's for their honesty and their ability to repair for less than other shops. On multiple occasions they have been able to diagnose problems on our high mileage Toyota van and Honda Civic that the dealers could not, and often have found creative solutions to save us money. Really good, honest, work. I read the one review above and was surprised since it is the complete antithesis of our experience.

Highly Recommend. Finally found an automotive/truck repair business and business owners that are Reliable and Honest/Trustworthy. I usually do my own automotive repairs at home, but I came across a problem that had me stumped. I relied on other Google reviews, and stopped by the shop. In less than two minutes, they identified the problem and offered me a fair price to fix it. The work was completed quickly while I waited. Knowledgeable, courteous, professional, fair... I can't ask for much else. I don't always take my car to a mechanic, but when I do, it'll be Stewart's Automotive.

I moved to Forney from Dallas about 9 months ago, and I'm still figuring out where to go for various services. So when my car wouldn't start this morning all I could do was Google to find someone nearby to help. Stewart's Automotive popped up in my search and had great reviews, so I took a chance. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful - within about 20 minutes of my call Grady's son (also named Grady) arrived at my house, jumped my car and followed me back to their shop. I only had to wait about 45 minutes for them to replace my battery, but while I waited, two other customers came in; both said they were Stewart's "regulars" and wouldn't trust anyone but Grady to work on their cars. I so appreciate that they were honest, helpful and fast - no one tried to sell me more than I needed, their prices were fair, and they didn't drag out the labor longer than necessary. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon, but I'll happily recommend them and will definitely return if something comes up.

Unfortunately wasn't able to work on my truck at the time but they gave me all the info I could ask for the knowledge that these gentlemen have is remarkable I would definitely recommend any to go to these guys if you want your vehicles done right

I cannot thank Stewart's Automotive enough for their continued honesty and consistency. It's quite rare these days to find mechanics with both of those traits, but by God they have them. They have helped me out on countless occasions, from small repairs with fair prices, all the way to simply pressing a button to fix my car when other mechanics wanted a thousand dollars from me. I will forever swear by and take my business to this shop, and I see no good reason why anyone would choose not to. Thank you Stewart's!
