Brought my car in for an oil change and alignment after drivers side control arm had been replaced, was told alignment couldn't be done due to subframe being stripped and that it needed to be replaced. It was going to run $1600-$1800.It had been in an accident roughly 2 years ago which was why the arms were replaced, it was an insurance job so I asked if it was stripped and that damaged how did the other shop get the repairs and alignment done, and how was I able to drive almost two years on it like that? To which the manager said idk you'd have to ask the other shop. I then said I'd be there to pick up my car since I can't afford the repairs, and that's when the niceness stopped. I could've went off, cursed, been rude, but didn't. I know they deal with all kinds of people and attitude, this is my only car, so I went into panic mode and asked a bunch of questions.When I went to pick up my car, I noticed the plastic guard piece hanging underneath, upon paying for my oil change I asked if it needed to be bolted back up or if I could press it in because it wasn't like that when I brought it in. Man at the front says "idk if have to look at it I don't know anything about what's going on with the car. Whatever shop you're bringing. It to will have to take it back off anyways". He seemed very annoyed. He then comes back and says it's probably been hanging like that since the repair and that the rear bolt is what's stripped. Had a tired replaced last week and it definitely was not hanging.I bet if I had agreed to have them do the work on the car, they would've been plenty nice. Very unfortunate experience as I chose them because of the stellar reviews I had read prior.Update- Took my car to the original shop in Dallas (they're also BBB accredited) I mentioned in the review, and wouldn't you know, they were able to fix the issue by cutting out a piece of plastic to access the bolt and repair/replace it, then did my alignment. Car feels great now, avoid this shop, or at least get a second opinion before handing over ANY money to this place.

I have been a customer of Performance Tire for years and wouldn't take any of my cars to anyone else for out of warranty service. They are professional, courteous, reliable and reasonably priced. Jason and his family have always taken good care of me and my family.

Had a tire puncture this morning and managed to drive here. They replaced and put my spare immediately. Never seen anywhere as fast as them. When they handed me my key, I walked up to pay, and shockingly, they told me there's no charge. They replaced my tire tire for free.

Always get great service, and friendly staff here. The kind of place that will gladly greet you by name, over the phone, once they know you. Being the perpetual procrastinator I am, I waited until almost 4 o'clock in the afternoon before calling to see if they would have time to get my truck in that day, remove all 4 tire pressure sensors from inside the tires, break apart the new wheels and tires I brought to put the sensors into, and then put those new wheels and tires onto my truck. It might not sound like much, but breaking down, and putting back together, 8 tires is not a quick thing. Anyway, they got me in and out in less than an hour. Much better place than the chains like NTB or Firestone.

Do not go here!!My a/c stopped working. Took it here to get it fixed. They said it was my blower motor, and it would be $300+ to fix. The part is $100. Due to that insane price, I decided not to have them fix it . They then charged me $100 to even diagnosis it. I understand a fee, but $100 is extremely high and this was NOT communicated beforehand.This is where it gets better. I replaced my blower motor myself, and the air still did not work. I then replaced the relay ($30) and sure enough it started working.So, this unhonest mechanic tried to sell me something I didn t need, charge me over $300 and then charged me $100 for a wrong diagnosis.It s concerning seeing all these positive reviews, because it makes me wonder how many people have been taken advantage of.

Super fast, great prices and they seemed honest (I asked to get a brake inspection and they seemed honest). My new oil change place from now on. Jiffy lube will always try to overprice everything (even with coupons ) and up-sale me with air filters and stuff (without me asking). So in other words, I like this guys now.

About 2 months ago i went here to have some wheels on my car changed out. I later found out my lugs were cross-threaded by Performance. In addition the absolutely horrible balancing job they did, they charged me for 4 new tire pressure sensors that were never properly installed. I fixed the driver side myself because i had no choice at that particular time. I went to another shop for correct balancing as well. As a owner of a business myself i understand that sometimes mistakes are made by employees and gave performance the opportunity to only fix the front passenger side and didnt even ask for a refund. They agreed, however they did not want to be inconvenienced at all. I went there 3 different times and they always told me they had too many customers right now and i had to drop my car off early in the morning to leave it with them all day. Managing my own business and having 2 kids, 1 being a newborn i could not bend to their schedule. If this happened to one of my customers i would most certainly make them a priority, even more so if they were understanding and reasonable like i was. I have been driving around for a month airing up my tire twice a day because i have a slow leak in that tire, and because of the damage i cannot get the wheel off to fix the nail in my tire. I'm upset because i was very understanding initially but then realized they would not under any circumstance inconvenience themselves a little to fix a issue they caused. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I used them before with no issues but when they mess up you are the one out and you have to be the person that pays with time, no vehicle, money, and further damage.

Spent money once to have my vehicle fixed. They did a good job. So I went back to get another problem fixed. They did not fix it correctly. I go back and they tell me they are going to charge me labor again to take off a part they had already taken off and were suppose to fix the first time. I understand they are a business and they have to make money, I get it. But as a customer, it's not fair that I have to pay for a problem you missed. You touched the part the first time, fix it the first time. Dont tell me I have to pay you again to do what you already were supposed to do. Especially if I just spent large amounts of money for you, twice! I do not recomend due to the fact they won't diagnose your vehicle correctly the first time. They are the mechanics that you take your car in and when you pick it up, they come at you with another bill. What a shame, I thought I found an honest local mechanic.

I usually don t leave reviews , but they were amazing the management the staff i needed a fuel injector and a lot of other things i recommend 100% . There s nothing but great energy at this place

The best. Jason, Reese, John and the guys are top-notch. They find the problem, and can usually get your car repaired and back to you in less than a day - often the very same afternoon. Not just tires - anything that needs fixing on your auto, these guys can handle. A competent and honest mechanic is a real asset, and there don t come any better than Performance Tire. I moved away from Forney two years ago, but I still make the hour-long drive to Forney whenever I have an auto-repair need. Because I trust these guys to do it right, and fast, the first time. If you re new in Forney, and need a good, honest mechanic, your search is over. Performance Tire and Service is the best.

Me and my family have been using your service for over the last 8 or 9 years. And we definitely fill like you are honest and fair. We also fill you have a great team of employees working for your company. Ya'll all do great work and every knowledgeable. Keep up the great work extremely awesome. You also in most cases have peoples vehicles back to them the same day. That's extremely a plus in today's industry. Me and my family have found a second family with ya'll. Gabriel Malagon We addressed a bad waterpump on your vehicle, the bearing was extremely, extremely loose and the pulley was visually wobbling. The vehicle has over 150,000 miles. If we would have not addressed your waterpump issue you would have possibly overheated the engine and possibly ruined it. We did the best job at diagnosing your problem. The small noise your hearing could be a million different things. We addressed the MOST IMPORTANT problem at the time your vehicle was here. We do our best to please everyone I assure you.

Performance tire and service would like let everyone this is just not the case.Oscar had come back after a complaint the first time about a stripped lug nut that we would be happy to take care of but he would have leave it with us for a half a day or so.This was an afternoon around 3 pm.He said he would return the following morning and that he worked from home so we offered him a ride home as well as pick him up.He did not return the following morning as scheduled.He did return 2 weeks later at around 3pm and wanted the work done.I scheduled another appointment the following morning and did not show.Oscar showed up a week later 3 pm and wanted the work done.We explained to him again we would be happy to take care of it but would have to have it a bit as we were busy.We also did not charge him for installing tpms sensors as he suggested and would have been happy to rebalance his tires if their was a problem but he didnt let us know before he took it elsewhere.We take great pride in taking care of our customers over the last 13 years and wanted to let everyone know the true story.Please check the other reviews for honest information.Thanks in advance.
