Very honest auto shop. I had my truck at a different shop and got an estimate for $6,000 to replace my head gaskets. Something seemed off, so I took it to Diaz. They checked everything thoroughly and told me there was zero problems with my engine. Gave me an oil change and saved me $6,000! I will be using them for all future vehicle issues.

If you're tired of paying more than you should be, and still getting results that don't last (often on purpose), you should come talk to Ramon or his son next time you have a problem with your car. Everything is expensive these days, but I guarantee you repairs will be less expensive here, but most importantly, they'll be done correctly. I've been bringing my trucks here for years now. I've strayed a few times, and ended up kicking myself every time. This isn't a chain repair shop that aims to get your car out as fast as they can pull it in. They take the time to make sure you're going to be happy when you leave. In my personal opinion, the best thing you will get with this shop, is the honesty. Quick example. I recently brought my truck in, and told them that my right front caliper needed to be replaced, and that my starter solenoid relay was bad, and needed to be replaced. I got a call about an hour after I dropped it off, and they told me that one of my rear calipers also was bad. They didn't even have to look at the rear brakes, much less take them apart and inspect them, because I was very specific in telling them which caliper I wanted replaced, but they did anyway. A cynic might say that they just sold me more than I needed, to make some extra money, but if that were the case, my other concern would have been replaced, like I requested. Instead, they nicely explained the error in my diagnosis of the starter solenoid relay, and made it very clear that the solenoid was definitely still working fine. The problem is somewhere else, but as it often goes with vehicles, it worked perfectly the whole time it was there, so there was no way to find the true culprit. Most other shops would have replaced the starter (the solenoid is built into the starter on my truck), and gladly taken several hundred more dollars from me, not caring that I would inevitably realize I wasted my money.Anyway, this is a great shop, and you will not regret checking them out next time.

After paying $298.15 for a battery, 2 terminals and $45 labor this company made me feel taken advantage of. I won't return for them to work on my 2007 Toyota Sienna. I had my insurance tow it to them Monday Nov 19 and got it back Wednesday Nov 21. I had to pay it to get back in motion or it would have been a drawn out process with them denying overcharging me

My Go to place anytime I have car issues. They know their work. Have very good reputation in my opinion. They are usually busy and may not fix your car the same day, but they always deliver when they say they would.

Highly recommend this shop. We brought in our 2015 Ford expedition for repair. When I picked it up I was told that it was just a loose plastic making the noise and it was a quick fix so they won t charge me.Not that many shops have such honesty or integrity around anymore when it comes to car repair and maintenance. [updated 2021] I don't know what happened. They started off great, but got expensive real quick. Their prices are the same as Christian Brothers Automotive, and lack the 2 year warranty that the chain outfit offers. They're good at what they do, but their prices are right up there with bigger outfits. Knocking a couple of stars off my original review which is below.I've used Diaz automotive for both our cars, and both times we've had our cars serviced we've been extremely satisfied with their work. Their prices are fair, their service excellent, and their turnaround time is fast. I highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them.

Love this place! On sales trip through the area & rear differential was going out. Took the '98 SUV in & Ramon explained the issue, the solution, the projected cost & time line. He & Sergio fixed & it was picked up a day earlier than projected & for 12% less than what they thought it would cost and quoted me. Truck runs great and now on it's way the last several thousand miles to 500,000 original miles. These guys fix it within the time and budget expressed, fixed it correctly and communicated throughout. Definitely give them a try. I would absolutely go back if and when I might be driving back through that area. Thank You Ramon & Sergio!

Family owned and very sincere father and son duo working there. I always take my cars there without any appointments and they always manage to squeeze me in to their busy schedule and get done with their work in less than 1 hr for reasonable price. They don't do any unnecessary recommendations like other places that cost you a lot.

Diaz Automotive did a tune up on my car, they were less expensive than three other Auto Repair shops I called. Great job and they called me, unlike many repair shops. I will be going back for my auto repair needs. Good quality of service and most of all, I don't feel gouged. Plus they give a 10% military discount.

I have had work done on my vehicles at many garages, service facilities and under a few shade trees. I stumbled across Diaz Automotive on line and since my AC had quit working, I decided to give them a try ! I was pleasantly surprised...vehicle in, diagnosed and repaired the same day. Fast, friendly and fair. I will do business with Ramon and Sergio again. They are cool guys and make a great team !

Great experience. I got both my Honda Pilot and Accord serviced by Diaz automotive and am very happy with the work done. Miguel is one of the best Auto technicians I have come across. Will definitely recommend.

This is an awesome place!! The father and son are the best and very genuine! I needed new brakes and rotors and they performed the service the same day and were even so nice enough to come pick me up so that I could get my car back the same day! I found my new car repair/maintenance shop. I highly recommend them!

Hmmmm.. Don t know if I want to share this. I was charged about$ 40.00 for safety inspection and a few minor adjustments, that two local RV shops had quoted $ 140.00 and $ 145.00 to do same inspections. Definitely will be going back with all of my needs before calling other shops again. Pleasant to deal with and seemed to be much more thorough that a few of the other places Ive been with this almost new RV I recently purchased.Now don t y all go running there so that they are too busy to handle my needs next time 1:<)Randy

I trust Ramone Diaz and his people. My father-in-law used him a few times and recommended him to me. I've done business with him for approximately 5 years and he has shown himself to be honest, trustworthy, and very capable. I would highly recommend him.

Diaz is the best mechanic in the Forney area. I had an ECU that went bad. I took it to a few other shops when I lived in Dallas and NJ and they all refused to fix it. Diaz diagnosed the problem quickly and had it fixed at a reasonable price. Great service as well. I tried a different shop and had a really bad experience. If you live in Forney and need your car repaired, go to Diaz.

These guys were very nice and they didn t tell me to wait 45 min then tell me I got skipped like jiffy lube! Diaz got me right in, no wait and very fast! I had 2 cars inspected in less time I had to wait at jiffy lube! I will continue to tell friends about Diaz!!

We came to Diaz Automotive for a second opinion on our Hyundai. I had unrealistic hopes that my car could be saved.Mr. Ramone explained that the repair would be temporary and sooner than not - we would be back for more repairs and a greater expense. We are blessed to have been referred; to know and trust his work first hand...and be so close to home. We have found trust, patience and honesty in Diaz Automotive of Forney!

Diaz Automotive is an awesome place to take your vehicle and get it serviced or repaired. These guys are fast, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY and very PROFESSIONAL. These ethics are hard to find these days. I'm glad to finally have found and automotive shop that can deliver honest results at great prices.

Overpriced and rude. Took my truck in and after all was "fixed" by them my A/C stopped working and it didn't pass inspection which which is why I went in the first place.
