They are reasonably priced, but they don't do a thorough job. I had a check engine light so I took it there to check the engine. They replaced knock sensors and the same code popped up again the very next day. They did not investigate the cause of the problem. I had a second car taken there and after replacing the fuel pump, it was only a couple of days before the computer module for the pump broke. I still suspect they damaged it and lied about it. Do not take your vehicle here!

It's the worst place ever. I took my 2019 silverado, has check engine light Asc and the check engine, and when I drive the truck kind of kicking and the front tire do rumblings sound I dropped my truck Friday they finished diagnostic Monday then they told me the problem is the oil lifter I know nothing about mechanic so I asked them if you fix that is gonna fix my problem they said yes we just fixed 5 trucks with same issue you have they charged me $1945.77 a lot of money when I get my truck was same problem just the check engine light is turned off I told them about it .the owner daughter she is one of the mechanic she is not polite has no courtesy to customers. The owner and his daughter said I have a transmission problem and they don't work on transmission. I told them why you don't tell me that before you are doing the fixing. I took my truck and left with same problem next day the check engine light back on my dash I called them about it they said they're not take my truck in because I have to fix the transmission first.so my question if you know I have to fix my transmission in first place why you charge me that much of money why not tell me in first place. People be careful they are SCAMERS SCAMERS SCAMERS

Went there with my friend R. Ortiz from Rick's Towing. It happens to be that Jam's Automotive was celebrating 25 year Anniversary of their business. They had hot dogs, burgers and trimming. It was great.

I made an appointment to have the shocks and struts replaced two weeks in advance. I dropped off my truck an hour before closing the day before the appointment date. Did not receive a call, text, or email. Stopped in to pick up my truck. Half hour before closing no work has been done to the truck. The guy at the desk said they would work on it tomorrow. They wasted my day. Do not waste yours by going here.

Johnny is a class guy and an honest businessman with vast automotive knowledge. I've known him for 15 years and I've never known him to steer anyone wrong.Even if he's busy with a lot full of cars, he will try to fit you in to get you back on the road. Plus, his prices are reasonable.

The Macias family are good people. It s a family owned and ran garage. Lauren is super helpful. I have had several instances with our Escalade needing repairs here and there and having an external warranty company causes extra work on the shop but they are always happy to complete all the work and docs needed to save us thousands in repair bills over the last two years. We had our mag ride suspension upgraded, our AC swapped out and recharged, and had an interior electrical component fail in the dash they fixed and repaired and worked with the warranty company for. Today the car wouldn t turn over so I had in towed in and of all things something in the electric gas pedal needed to be adjusted and that s that. Didn t take long and I would have never found that personally. Also charged and very fair rate so all in all very happy with all the times I ve used JAMJohnny runs a good shop.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

We took my car to JAM Automotive with an oil leak. The service was quick, courteous, and professional. After receiving my vehicle back the leak was fix. the service was fast and not as expensive as I assumed it could be. We just moved to Floresville and were looking for an automotive shop to take our vehicles to.I read the great reviews of JAM automotive so decided to go with them, and was so glad I did!Our car and truck had both been having issues, but JAM got us all fixed up in a jiffy and the pricing was very fair.We plan to return to JAM for all of our future vehicle needs.

I would NOT recommend this place! Very rude and unprofessional! My mom took in her vehicle 2 days ago to see what was going on with her power steering pump. And after buying a new last week they wanted her to buy another one and charged her almost double of what they originally said. And when we called to check on it and asked what had been done, the owned got mad and said we could pick up my mom's vehicle. And when my mom got there, his daughter told my mom that she wasn't allowed back smh! Does that sound professional to you??

My car was having issues and needed a new starter. I had to get it fixed and was short on time for turnover. J A M Automotive gave me a great rate, professional and reliable job, and got my car to me in one day! The repair is warranted for one year which gives me an extra sense of safety and security. Would definitely recommend them for auto repair needs!

Johnny is the best. I have been coming here for years and he has never let me down. He is one of the most honest people I have ever met. Their service is like no other. I can not say enough good things about JAM. They are fast and they are good. I usually get my car back the next day if not the same day. Recommend them highly! I wish I could give them 10 stars. I love them!!

I typically don t write bad reviews but I ve had 2 poor communication situations from here that I have to bring up. About 2 months ago I called trying to set up an appointment to evacuate Freon on my dads truck so I could swap the AC compressor, and they told me that I could walk in with no appointment necessary and it would get taken care of quickly since it s not a full recharge. Well my mom gets there to drop the truck off and she is told that we have to make an appointment, there s no drop offs allowed and if we were to drop it off, it would not be taken care of until the next day or day after. So this is obviously disappointing because it had inconvenienced my mom, but we were able to get fit into Weston Trucks Unlimited for the Freon evacuation that day, so I let the JAM automotive situation go. Then about a week and a half ago, my grandpa had called to schedule an appointment for a wheel alignment today and the receptionist had told him to come in at 8 and the guys would get started on it as soon as they could. She asked for his phone number, name, and vehicle make/model, so my grandpa was led to believe it was an appointment. She also mentioned there were no jobs scheduled for 9/16 (today), so it would be a mostly quick job. Well he gets there this morning at 8:00AM and a gentleman told my grandpa that we don t take appointments and it s strictly walk in only . All their bays were already full and my grandpa would have to drop it off and wait all day for his car to get aligned. My main point is that I m disappointed in the lack of communication between the technicians and the receptionist. The customer service from the receptionist was great but again, my main issue is with the communication and lack of understanding on the technicians side to possibly work something out for my grandpa who s there at 8AM with an appointment that was scheduled almost 2 weeks ago.

Truck went for and an oil leak and water pump. Even though the water pump failed due to a faulty part, JAM quickly assessed and remedy the problem. My truck sounds good and strong. Thank you again for your service.

I do not recommend. Save your time and money and go to a reputable repair shop. The lack of professionalism and pure laziness of staff is rampant. It is truly sad that people like this are still in business.

Took it in for a transmission leak and it was a loose fitting that they tightened. They could have stuck it to me but took care of the engine miss, tightened fitting and had it ready the next day. Will always use this car repair business! Super happy with with the way they treat their customers.

Went in for a damage intake manifold. They installed it improperly, when I took it back they said it was fine and charged me additional $30 they also removed $100 worth of fuel from my vehicle and would do nothing about it. Took to another shop they saw that every gasket had been improperly put in. When I brought that information back to the shop they refused to refund the repair money still refused to repay for missing gas. And had to audacity to ask why I did not bring it back. (Which I had)

Was there before they opened up was able to get them to look and fix my truck no big deal that is what they are for. Why I give 5 stars is cause I had meathead with me (dog). They offered to to let him stay inside where it was cool. Also around lunch time was offered to take a vehicle to go pick something up. I don t know much about new vehicles and how to repair them but I do know old fashion courtesy and niceness when I see it and they defiantly have it. Will take my vehicle back when needed to them just for the customer service.

We used to bring our Ambulances here when I worked for an EMS company. Now I work for the county and bring them here. They repaired our Toyota Sequoia starter for $1000 less than what the dealer wanted.Ill always bring my vehicles here. They re honest and won t try and screw you. Johnny and his daughter are amazing honest people.

I brought in two vehicles with really complex problems and they were the first to tell me that I needed to take them to the dealer. They did not charge me at all for all the time they spent diagnosing the problems! I cannot overstate how rare that is! I have found that repair shops charge you for walking in the door, but not here! They have me as a customer for life!

I needed an alignment for my SUV and they were the only ones due to the rims. When I got my truck back it had a big scratch on the door with blue paint. I contacted them immediately and left a message and did not receive a call back. I called a few days later and explained the situation. I also noticed the equipment they use is blue and asked them to take a look at my vehicle. They denied that it was them, I asked them if they had cameras at the shop and if they could review the footage and call me back. Never received a call back... if you plan to take your vehicle there do not drop it off!

Jonny is quite the guy...he took care of my truck and he is doing my moms..I will not use anyone else but him due to him be so honest and fair
