I had TLS perform a transmission fluid and oil change on an older Lexus RX350. My first visit to this shop and I was impressed at how knowledgeable, professional, and polite everyone at the shop was. They were able to answer all my questions and performed the service quickly and at a fair price. Shop appeared to be very clean and well organized. Everything I saw and everyone I dealt with gave me confidence that I had chosen a good shop for this service. I will definitely return when my Lexus needs additional maintenance or repairs.

TLS Auto Specialist Service and Repair are the best Toyota/Lexus mechanics I've ever dealt with. The mechanics are all former Toyota/Lexus Dealer employees so they are highly trained and experts on Toyota and Lexus cars and trucks, but you don't have to deal with the dealer headaches or the dealer prices. We have been taking multiple cars to them for many years. Fred, the owner, is really great. He is honest, dependable, reliable, thorough, and wants long term customers. The entire staff are amazing as well.I have referred several neighbors and friends to TLS and they are also regular customers. My daughter lives in Austin and even brings her SUV to TLS when repairs are needed. I recently brought my corolla in and the crew and their customer service is excellent. I had gone to 2 other places that quoted me super high rates for a repair so I decided to shop around. Firstly, the quote I got here was several hundred dollars lower than the previous places, and second, they ran tests several times and determined it really wasn't needed for a few years. SO not only did they help prevent me from losing much more money, they also were super chill and ensured I got what WAS needed done quickly and at a fair price.I will definitely be back whenever I need service done!

Fred and the TLS team diagnosed , replaced the engine in my 2008 Lexus GS 350 with an OEM new one. They performed a host of additional mechanical repair work which enabled me to have an exceptional used car which runs like new. They are consummate professionals!

On my way from my home to TLS Auto Repair in Euless, I pass by all kinds of car repair shops, even dealerships, and not once have I considered shopping around for a mechanic since I found Fred s place.Sure, It would be easier to stop by one of those quick in and out places to have the oil changed, but after a bad experience with easy about 20 years ago, I don t trust my car to just anyone. Besides, at TLS, I trust that while changing the oil, they will let me know about any potential problems that they find. And I know I can trust what they recommend.That TRUST means everything to me. It s like having family looking out for me. It s why I ve told my friends and family about taking their Toyota or Lexus to TLS. Fred and his staff are simply the best at what they do.

I have an 07 Lexus and from the great reviews, I wanted to take my car here to change the low beam bulbs. I have the OEM bulbs on hand & for just labor, this shop was pricing at $225. Absolutely pathetic to say the least. Either techs are greedy or the receptionist is an idiot.

TLS is the ONLY place to have your Toyota & Lexus work done. From the owner to the guys in the shop you just can't get better work done. They communicate well, they only fix your vehicle the proper way and refuse to take any short cuts. The absolute best part about doing business with TLS is that they will actually try to save you money (if possible). They fix what needs to be fixed and don't add on to the job to get paid more. I trust them and will continue driving across town to know that I am working with a team that has my best automotive repair interests at heart.

This Toyota specialty garage helped me to decide if a used vehicle that I was considering for purchase was worthwhile. They charge a reasonable price for pre-purchase used Toyota, Lexus inspections. Very knowledgeable, helpful. Courteous and affordable.

I recommend TLS to anyone in a Toyota, Lexus, or Scion. Their mechanics are quick and do quality work. You may need to make an appointment, because they are usually very busy. Pricing is very competitive with other mechanics in the area, and you'll definitely get the best service in town.

I used Fred for many years and he was just the best. Always fair and straight forward. He rebuilt my Lexus 430's engine after I broke it and when done it was like new again. Good analysis of auto issues. It was comprehensive and each "fix" was explained carefully to me. Cost was minimized by ordering priorities, and breaking repairs into two categories ... safety now and non-essentials later. I noticed a significantly smoother ride and better gas mileage after one of the repairs. Not cheap, but worth every penny. These guys are great, amazing, Fred and Co really really know how to take care of your Toyota or Toyota by-products such as Lexus and Scion. I've had em do a bunch of stuff on my 2006 Highlander, but the big job was the fly wheel replacement... :)

Great service and honest evaluation of possible issues without trying to upsell you on items you don't need. Prompt when making an appointment and fair prices. At a high level, they: 1) don't communicate well (if at all), 2) they don't perform the repairs as requested, 3) they perform unnecessary repairs after being told not to, and 4) their repairs fail and I don't trust them to fix them.I spend >$4,000 to repair a timing chain tensioner and transmission fluid flush on my Tundra. They had the vehicle >3 weeks, never did the transmission fluid flush, changed my differential fluid I told them not to because I just had it done at a different shop, and they returned my truck with an oil leak. The valve cover gaskets they charged me for are leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold and it gives me a headache while I drive. Another $700 for a different shop to fix it because of their incompetence.Before I realized all of the problems with my Tunrda, I left my 4Runner to have multiples things done to it before a trip to Colorado. They replaced the radiator and CV axles without ever approving the repairs with me. They had the 4Runner for >4 weeks, and were late getting it to us. I picked it up the day before we left for Colorado, and the 4wd low range they were supposed to fixed, didn't work.I spent well over $10K in repairs between two vehicles, and they could never get anything right. After I realized they changed my diff fluid and never did the transmission fluid, completely against my instructions, I vowed never to go back. Now the valve cover gaskets they installed are leaking oil; hence this review.During this entire saga, I got more apologies from the owner than I care to count. They say one thing and do another. They fixed my air conditioner on the first try and it s good as new. I ve previously taken it to two different Firestones and they were never able to fix it correctly. They also did a thorough inspection and were able to tell me what else I needed. Now I have hope my car will last 200k + miles. So happy I found this place!
