Great service! Diego seems to be very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond keeping in contact about the status of my car and explaining in detail the issues. I had went somewhere else 2x previous and received bad parts and misdiagnosis leading to the car consistently "breaking down". I'm grateful Diego resolved the issue and replaced my no good fuel pump. Took my 92 Honda accord. It needed extensive work. I was so pleased with the quality of service. I highly recommend this shop. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable in their profession. I've been hesitant to post this and have waited literally a year to see how things have played out with my car, as Juan had been servicing my Mom's, Dad's, Grandmother's, Brother's, and my own car starting when my Grandma needed service over 20 years ago. And the service, price, and speed were fantastic up until my last few experiences here.Juan isn't in the picture as much, and his crew CANNOT be trusted. I had an alternator go out a while back and had Mid-Cities install a new one, and had my AC compressor serviced here shortly after. Everything was fine until the alternator died 6 months later and I took it back to get warrantied. I'm not a mechanic, but I have studied electrical engineering and managed a BatteriesPlus and have diagnosed hundreds of alternators and load tested thousands of batteries. I know exactly how they function. My car wouldn't start, and I get my voltmeter to test the output voltage of the alternator with the car running. The alternator was putting out >11V and the battery had drained to 11.5V. I jumped it and took it to my workplace and ran an alternator test on it (which is a professional tool that applies a load and reads the output voltage and amps). It failed. The battery I had ran a carbon pile load test on 2 months prior and it had passed with flying colors.The problem arose when I take it in and they run a load test on my battery at 11.5V and tell me it was actually my battery that was bad! For those unaware, testing ANY 12V battery at a state of charge less than 12V will always result in the battery showing a fail result. They had zero concern WHY the battery had become so discharged, and were insistent it wasn't my alternator. I knew otherwise. Sometimes a bad battery can cause an alternator to show a fail result, but testing my battery at 11.5V (less than 0% charged) and telling me they knew for certain it was bad is just plain dishonest. An honest mechanic would want to charge the battery up to at least 12.6V first, and also be alarmed on how the battery had dropped so low when the vehicle is driven frequently. Batteries don't self discharge that low quickly, it takes months. That would indicate it's likely not being charged by the alternator.I appeased them anyways and bought a new battery (it was $40 with my manager discount) because I didn't want to argue with them and just wanted them to repair my alternator. Lo and behold the new battery didn't fix the issue and I was right back having them look at it again. They didn't apologize, but they did FINALLY claim to install a new alternator. I don't think they actually did, as on my drive home the battery light comes on the dash (which often indicated bad alternator) and less than week later my car wouldn't start again! Frustrated I took it to a different mechanic, and didn't say anything about the whole situation, just asked him to diagnose it. He came back to me and said my battery was fine but I needed an alternator.....I was done hassling with Mid-Cities and paid the new mechanic to install it, and haven't had issues starting since!!! Sucks to pay for something that was supposedly under warranty but I needed a car to drive to work and Mid-Cities had proved to me they were crooked. My AC also stopped blowing cold 6 months after they serviced my compressor, and when I took that in for warranty they said I needed to pay $600 to fix a leak. My new mechanic said no, quoted me $80 for refrigerant and it has been blowing cold for over a year now no problems.I hate to say it but Juan being out of the picture, I cannot trust this shop. His employees do not care, they won't honor their warranty are willing to mislead. That is two times they have outright lied to me, and contradicted both my own knowledge and that of my new mechanic. BEWARE, this is not the same shop it was in the past.

Juan and his crew are absolutely phenomenal! I arrived late in the day and they got me set up with a loaner. Fast and excellent service, have used Mid Cities Auto multiple times, always pleased with the service! Great rates, friendly staff, quick service times. Hit a curb pretty hard after a concert around 11 pm on a Saturday night. The car wouldn't start, got it towed to the closet spot with best reviews and wrote a note on a napkin and left the keys. They texted me about it on Sunday, then the following Monday it was ready for pick up!! They were super full with cars, too. They work extremely fast and were super nice. I'm very grateful for their fast service and worth ethic :))

A friend recommended Mid Cities Auto & Truck repair and I am so happy they did. They offer a loan car and will pick-up/deliver your car anywhere. Prices are reasonable and fair. I ve taken my car and my sons Lexus for different repairs and they have always been completely upfront and honest. They will only do the work you want with very little up selling. I love that they text you and they encourage you to text with questions or updates. Great family business and I would recommend to anyone who needs large or small auto repairs!

After going to a few other shops who claimed they fixed my issue with Check Engine light and occasional stalling, only for the issue to happen again, and then those places not wanting to service this issue anymore (saying "maybe we can get you in here in 10 days" haha) I then tried Mid-Cities Auto. They found the issue for my Check Engine Light and vehicle stalling, which was actually caused by a previous auto shop not finishing their repair correctly.Mid-Cities fixed my vehicle up when I was told by other shops that I might need a new vehicle since the Check Engine Light keeps coming on. Mid-Cities found the issue very fast, and fixed it very fast. They are true automotive technicians. I will be coming here for any automotive work that their shop is able to do.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Juan and his staff are first class. Pricing is very fair and quality was great. They had my Acura back on the road shortly and even provided a loaner vehicle so I could get to work. Definitely recommend

Last week around 1pm I came into this business asking if someone would help with my flat tire. Not only was I turned away but was told everyone was on lunch while 3 men were sitting in the office chatting. Then I was told that I could go to the Tire Store next door. I mean who does that? I'll gladly go there as they took care of me quite efficiently and quick. It's bad business to deny anyone. Just saying yall are terrible for the lack of customer service.

We had two of our jeeps mess up in the same weekend! :( These guys do a great job and are quick. They go above and beyond on customer service and kept us informed. We use them for our personal vehicles and our business fleet trucks and vans as well. Highly recommend. We have used them for years.We had a Ford 150 years ago and were told by the dealership and two other repair shops that the transmission was going out. We took it to this shop that a friend recommended and the owner was just sure it was something else. After being told twice it was our transmission going out, we trusted the suggestion since it was only $300 to fix versus a new transmission. The fix worked and we never had issues again.

I have always had wonderful service and quality workmanship performed on every vehicle I have taken to them. They are very experienced and work with you to understand what it will take to get you back on the road. I have sent friends and family members to this service center because I trust them so much. I will continue to take all of my vehicles to Midcities.

I was introduced to Midcities several years ago when I bought a used Toyota for my daughter. The couple that sold it to us said they had been using Midcities for several years and were very pleased with their work. I decided to take our Chevy Trailblazer to them to have them look at an A/C problem. I was so happy with their service I started taking all of our cars to them. Over the last several years they have done everything from replace a transmission, fix an A/C, and even provide body work. I can only think of one time that I had trouble with a part they replaced - even though the part was brand new - and they replaced it immediately at no charge. They even repaired a Chevy Pickup that was totaled by the Insurance company for less then the amount the Insurance company gave us to replace the truck. I highly recommend Midcities for any and all auto and truck service. They are not always the cheapest in town but they are certainly not the most expensive.

I don't know how many relatives this place has, but obviously they all put in fake reviews. This place is the biggest ripoff. Went in for multiple quotes and laughed on my way out. To replace a radiator- $300. come to find out, it can be done for $150 at another garage. Replace 1 CV axle- $400. Had both changed at another shop for $175. To be fair, I never had them do work. They may do great work, but they are GROSSLY overpriced. Shop around before you go here.

Our Lexus ES300 was sputtering and misfiring like crazy we had it in a different shop for 2 months. When the car came back it had the same problem, nothing was fixed. We went to mid cities auto and the guys there diagnosed the problem and fixed the car in one day to perfect working condition. I also bought a BMW X5 the back lift gate had seized up. The BMW dealership quoted me 2000$ ! I went to mid cities and they fixed it in 40 minutes for 295$ A week later I was getting a level suspension malfunction I asked mid cities to fix it but they didn't feel comfortable fixing the suspension so I took it somewhere else, they had the car for 4 days and the problem only got worse. I took the car back to midcities and told them I knew they could fix it because I trust them. The next day they fixed the problems and I haven't had any problems since. In the near future my family is moving to trophy club, I know for a fact when my cars give me problems I am going to make the commute for these guys. They know their stuff!

I called up to get my car looked at on a lift after smacking a curb in the rain and he said he wouldn t do that for me. I would give less than one star if possible the guy was extremely rude and his business looks like a chop shop. Wouldn t ever take anything I own to him.
