I recently purchased a 996 that needed the IMS bearing replaced, Mayo is the only installer listed on LN Engineerings website that is located in Texas. For good reason!Mayo has my business for life. My vehicle was the least expensive one in the shop by a wide margin, but that didn't seem to matter as I was not treated any differently than I suspected they treat all customers.I received multiple text messages with updates and photos unprompted, I was delighted to see the progress of the work, the old parts out of the motor etc etc.It was definitely white glove treatment.No surprise costs, everything was discussed in advance, I even added in a bit of work and I got an updated quote before any work took place.Excellent service, highly recommended.

Fantastic shop. I was a little overwhelmed to bring my vehicle in looking at some of the superb vehicles they handle but I was treated amazingly well and everyone was super nice and helpful. They have my business for life. Amazing to see Porsches of old along side the latest and greatest.

This is Porsche heaven. Great bunch of guys...a fun experience getting the oil changed while checking out all the Porsches on site. And...they changed the oil in my Macan for about two-thirds less than the dealership would have. I'll be back for sure.

Amy has been so patient and positive to work with. Always available when I call just helping me source answers that I can t find. She is great and always follows up! Chris is super knowledgeable and just makes things easy to handle. His team worked on my 928 longer than expected and unexpectedly helped me out with the final bill. Very Much Appreciated! The best in the area for Porsche related service. Great people. Chris Amond has the experience to fix your P car right the first time regardless of whether it is air cooled or water cooled. As a shop owner myself I won't let just anyone work on one of my cars and when I need help on something I only want a shop and individual that isn't going to waste my money. Mayo Performance Specialties is a slam dunk.

Got my first Porsche recently and made a beeline to get the car looked at by Mayo based on recommendations. Jodi and Amy were great to work with, super quick turnaround, clear communication, all the good stuff. As always, Mayo serviced my 1996 993 and I am 100% satisfied. They take the time to explain everything that was needed/serviced with complete explanation. And if wasn't for the mini ice storm, they would have completed the car sooner but were waiting for a part to be delivered. Tom goes the extra mile and is very thorough. I highly recommend Mayo for any of your Porsche needs.

I've lived in many parts of the country, Ca., La., Md., NM., Co., and now Texas! Anyone who knows me, knows I'm very particular about my cars! Only on one hand can I count who I would leave my car with and Tom and Mayo's are at the top of that list bar none! I like this place so much, as I come from Lubbock to Euless, ( 350 miles each way) that I even bring my friends cars to them! Excellent, honest, and treating your car as though it was their own car, what more can you ask for? !! Luke, you had a bad review for them on a PPI with your Cayman, I promise you, there must of been some misunderstang, that is not like them over the 10 years I have been knowing them. You should try to get clear about that with them. Be respectful, and fair and understanding and I'm sure it will work out. One great gang here, all of them!! Can't say enough great things about this shop. Brought my "new" 1988 911 Targa to have some issues addressed and the car was returned mechanically as perfect as you could ask for. Brian was amazing and I could tell how invested he was in the car as if it was his own, how knowledgeable he was, and the time spent to make sure it was perfect. I am so appreciative of Mayo and there is no other place I would think about taking my air cooled Porsche. Highly recommend any Porsche owner, especially air cooled 911s.

Porsche maintenance experts par excellence. They have helped me with regular engine maintenance with my 87 944 turbo and with occasional fixes like a stuck door lock. Always knowledgeable and they put in great care. Wonderful place, i just had my car reviewed by Mr. Mayo himself. It was a wonderful experience, he really knew the car & I really enjoyed listening to his years of expertice and his recommendations were greatly appreciated. It's a good feeling having someone like him (and his super nice staff) in the area.

After moving to the dfw area from Las Vegas I dreaded having to find a new trustworthy Porsche shop. After going to another shop in the area and given some info that I didn t believe to be correct (swing and a miss) I called Mayo for a second opinion. I was able to get in the next day and Brian was awesome and fixed my issue in a timely manner. Everyone at the shop is down to earth with great conversation and the knowledge to match. What I loved most is that they weren t trying to get over on me and earned my business and trust. I will be returning to Mayo for all my other Porsche maintenance. So happy I ve found my new shop in the dfw area.Service: Electrical

I had an '08 Cayman inspected and the report listed just a few minor things that should be looked at in the future, and yet they somehow missed that the car is missing a fender liner, has completely worn out shocks and tie rods (which would prevent it from passing inspection), had an intake system that was filled with oil, among many other minor and obvious things. I know that a PPI won't find everything, but I paid $650 and would think at the very least that would warrant checking the suspension and noticing if a fender liner is completely missing and the car can't even pass inspection.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Where do I start? I took my Panamera with 62,000 miles on it, to dealership for the 60,000 mile transmission service. When I picked it up, I drove down the road, it was slipping gears, whining & jerking. When I called dealership asking what happened. I was told by dealership I needed a new transmission. There was nothing wrong with my car, when I dropped it off.. I was told about Mayo's by multiple people when calling transmission shops. Within 15 minutes Chris figured out dealership put wrong fluid in it. So my car has been fixed & I am now a Mayo's customer for LIFE... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Used these guys for a PPI on a used Cayman I bought from a few states away. They fit me in within a short time frame and did a great job pointing out lots of small issues I would have never caught. Tom and Amy were great to deal with. Thanks!

If you have a Porsche, Mayo's is the place to go for maintenance, repair and even racing prep work. Tom and the Mayo's team have worked on my 80s vintage Porsches for over 10 years and I they always over achieve. Mayos has done work ranging from replacing 'head studs' on my 83 911 engine to a tech inspection for a PCA event. I am a 2nd generation Porsche owner and I would trust Tom and the Mayos with any Porsche work. And the Mayos' team are AWESOME people with a very laid back personality.

I had the good fortune of working with Tom Petrushka at Mayo Performance two years ago to have a new engine installed in my backdated 86 Carrera. As I told Tom after the work was done the car went in there a "good car" and left being a "great car" every single item with the car was addressed and it has been absolutely perfect for the next 20,000 miles. A very well known 911 engine building shop in Southern California says that "when we dial 911 from our shop, Mayo Performance answers !! "

The people at Mayo are welcoming, engaging, have an astounding wealth of Porsche experience and have always given me fair prices and great service. You'd have to be crazy to take your Porsche anywhere but here.
