Was recommended this shop by Republic Tire for a steering and suspension issue. Set up an appointment and turned my car in and was greeted by friendly and professional staff, who then not only had the repair complete within the same day but also under the expected cost.Very pleased with this shop and the work that they did!

Very trustworthy. Dean will be honest when work isn t warranted, so we continue to come back when it is.

This place is the best shop in the DFW, hands down!!! They keep the place extremely clean and all the staff is VERY friendly and knowledgeable. The owner brings his dog to work everyday, which he is very mellow, but loves to be loved on. Sometimes he doesn't even get off his bed when I walk in. On top of that, they even offer a shuttle service. I totally recommend getting your car fixed here, they stand behind all their work and don't try to up-sale service that the car doesn't need.

Dean Lane and the guys over at Lane's Automotive are fantastic! This is my favorite place to take my car. I had a car a couple years ago and Dean was like do not bring this car back to me it is not worth fixing at all. I appreciate his honesty and he helped me fill out paperwork to get a new car called the clean Air check. Before that I had another car that he had to work on and it wasn't worth fixing either. And I have bought new tires battery and all kinds of stuff. He helped me sell it and just get some money back from from it cuz it was involved in a car accident and I didn't know it. But I told him to get the tires off and the battery out and let one of his workers have it. I would definitely recommend this place for any one because of the honesty. And the prices is real affordable.

This was my first time taking my car somewhere other than the dealership for repair, and Lane's blew me away with their exceptional customer service and fast turnaround time. The owner was kind, honest and helpful. My car needed a lengthy repair, and Dean made sure it got done in one day so I would have it for the weekend. The team even stayed about 10 minutes late to get it done for me. This will definitely be my go-to place from now on!

I went on Nextdoor Neighbor asking if anyone had a good old fashion, down to earth, honest mechanic in the HEB area that they could recommend. Being a Senior Citizen, and knowing very little about cars, I don't want to pay for any unnecessary repairs. Lane's Automotive (in Euless on Midway) came up time and time again. Needless to say, that is where I took my vehicle AND WHERE I WILL GO FROM NOW ON! I got everything I asked for in a Mechanic (see above) and highly recommend Lane's Automotive. Kudos and blessings to you Lane's Automotive for making this Senior Citizen happy and walking out with money still in my wallet. ........ My personal opinion, you should get

Its no surprise Lanes is rated 5 (4.9) stars. This place works with honesty and integrity. Two important ingredients to a well managed mechanical shop. Dean assisted me with my truck situation via telephone for over a month. Every time i called he was patient and courteous. I am thankful this place was recommended. So I"m doing the same. Cant miss shop!

Lane's is the best place to get your car serviced. They tell you the truth and suggest when services aren't necessary. Dean knows about our cars and genuinely cares about his employees and customers. We drive 35 minutes out of our way to take our cars that no longer have a warranty to him for service.

Lane's Automotive is awesome and I fully recommend them for your domestic car or truck mechanical needs. I was having a problem with a/c on my '95 Dodge Ram Cummins diesel and I dropped it off with that huge sense of dread expecting a huge repair bill. Dean called me mid-morning the next day with a pleasant surprise that it was simply low on freon and was ready to be picked up. Lane's is quick, honest, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They now have a new, permanent customer... Thank you, Dean !

I started using Lane's based on a recommendation from a friend. Have used them twice now and very highly recommend them. The first time I was surprised to see a gap in the plastic front bumper cover had been fixed as a courtesy, in addition to the work I brought it in for. Most recently a screeching noise during idle was correctly diagnosed by Casey within two minutes as the alternator. Dean and Casey are knowledgeable, courteous and trustworthy.

Good service, Honest Mechanics. Not cheap, but my cars works since I take them to Dean's. Have been taking my car and friends cars to Dean for years now. The trust and honesty they bring to the table give you peace of mind. They don't over sell.

I have been a customer for several years. Dean and the staff are very responsive, and always want to insure I understand what the problem is with the vehicle, the repair plan, and how long it will take to complete. There has never been an over commitment and his price estimates are the amount I pay. There are no surprises. If something changes from the original estimate, I get a call with the explanation and time to complete.Integrity is a high priority with these folks.

GREATEST MECHANIC SHOP AROUND!! Dean and his team are honest, knowledgeable, and courteous! They treat me as if I were part of their family. I feel safe going here because I know I won't be taken for a ride or spend money on things that are not necessary. They have helped me time and again and I will keep coming back! Absolutely outstanding job!

Lanes was so helpful when my car was making a strange noise. I was concerned there was a safety issue. The owner Dean was so kind. His tech lead, Casey took the car for a test drive and spent time diagnosing. Turned out to only be loose license plate holder. These guys so honest. Will definitely refer all my friends.Be sure to say hi to the cute puppy in office.

I am new to this area and was looking for a trustworthy, reliable auto shop. I spoke to a couple of references, they could not say enough good things about the quality of his shop and staff! One of the references I spoke with had done business with Lane for over 20yrs. Lane and his dad have been in auto repair for over 30yrs. You will find Lane to be courteous , respectful and a straight shooter. His office is clean and organized and his shop and staff seem to be the same. My experience was great!

I won't take my family cars anywhere else. Finding an honest and fair mechanic isn't easy, and that's exactly what I get with Lane's. They shoot straight, explain everything until you understand it, and won't let you pay for things you don't need. It's a great experience every time!

Well, this is gonna be short and sweet. Why? Because there are only a few words that I can use for Lane's Automotive: Honest, Dependable, Affordable, Great Results. This is THE best automotive place you will ever find. They've been in business for years and there's a reason. Perfection every time. You will never, ever get ripped off here. You will pay a fair price and get a superior job done.

I have never had to take my car to Lane's twice for the same problem. Lane's automotive are the only ones that have ever worked on my car. And the only ones that ever will. I have complete confidence in their ability to fix any problem my car might develop.Lane's may be a little more expensive than other shops out there. But well worth the extra money. Because in this day and age you get what you pay for..

I've always said that if you can find an honest and competent mechanic, then he's worth his weight in gold. That's true here.Wonderful service at a great price. Twice now I've brought in a vehicle expecting a huge bill, and both times they underquoted what I expected and had it ready on time. They seem to be very honest and good at their job.

Took my car to Lane s because it was making knocking noises when parking. Turned out it was just a loose part. They fixed it within hours and didn t even charge me for it! I m very satisfied with their honesty, great communication and excellent service. Would definitely recommend to anyone who s having issues with their car.

I came to Lane's because of the great reviews online and they were spot on! There had been a smell of burning plastic coming from the car for a couple weeks. A plastic bag got stuck over the exhaust and I thought it would've dissipated by now. They checked the car to look for the problem and it was still part of the bag stuck to the car. They sanded off the remaining plastic and didn't charge a thing. I think they're an honest, reputable business. I'll be going here from now on.

I've used Dean Lane since 1996. He's the best. Even though I moved out of the Mid Cities to Rowlett, I still use Lane's Automotive. It's all about integrity.

I have been seeing the high ratings given to Lane's Automotive for years where this shop is rated the best in 11 nearby neighborhoods. Since I already knew what I needed (new valve cover gaskets to fix an oil leak), Dean gave me a ballpark price over the phone. Estimate was higher than Kwik Kar, less than Toyota dealer. Set an appt. and dropped my vehicle off this morning.I liked the facility, liked Dean and got a courtesy ride back home. Driver was great, too. Here's the best part:Got a call from Dean after looking at the car. Leak needs to be repaired in front valve cover but the one in back (v6) was tiny. Not worth repairing, he said. Just monitor and repair later if it gets worse. May never get worse. No time savings in doing both at once since they are really separate jobs. Cost cut in half.If Dean hadn't been experienced or was just in it for the money, he would have done want I asked and I wouldn't have known the difference. Easy situation to tell if someone has common sense and is honest if you catch them being honest so I wanted to pass my experience on to others.Lanes Automotive- honest, trustworthy, know what they're doing. 5 star.

Dean got back to us right away, and had the job done by the next day. 10/10 customer service
