I don't understand why he got such a bad review from that lady, but I'm sure it was a misunderstanding.Very professional and offered me a fair price on my trade in and also on the vehicle I purchased.Made the process very simple and everything when very smoothly.I would definitely recommend giving him a visit if something catches your eye on his website.

We've purchased 3 vehicles from Bob over the last several years. His vehicles are fairly priced and he's a good man to deal with. One doesn't stay in business for 30 years in the same spot if he's not a good businessman.

Bob is a great guy to work with. Bought a used Lexus for a great price. He traded in my vehicle for a reasonable price. This is the way it is supposed to be. Honesty great service, no big city haggling and frustrations associated with buying a vehicle.

Bob Smith Auto Sales has two lots in Mineola. I've checked out the vehicles on his lot at the intersection of Hwy. 69 and Hwy. 37 several times over the past couple of years, and Bob always has a nice selection of late model, well kept cars and trucks. I've actually talked directly with Bob a few times as well. He's a great guy and will do whatever he can to make you a good deal on a quality used vehicle.

This guy was nice and up front, and we bought a red custom Chevrolet truck from him and we're also a dealer! Reading the other reviews, it seems that people don't want to understand how dealers must operate: Customers normally have a budget they're working with, so of course if they give this guy a number, then he says another vehicle is higher - he's just telling the truth that it's not in his/her budget. Some people like to waste dealers' time and just "look" and then they wonder why the dealer tries to direct them to a vehicle in their budget. Take it upon yourself to go check out a vehicle if you like one there, then judge for yourself about the service. There was nothing wrong with ours.

Bob sold my daughter in la. 2012 Dodge Journey and she quickly learned the heater was not working. He said he would fix it so she brought it back and it was rigged with duct tape as per our local mechanic that looked at it. Bob agreed that he would pay for the repair of the vehicle if we took it to the dealership. When the vehicle got to the dealership it started a knocking sound as well. When we called Bob to give him the cost of repair he laughed in her face and said that was way too much and he would only pay a portion. The knocking sound was major sludge in the coolant to which the car can t be driven long before it goes into the radiator and ruins the engine. This all stems from the heater core/heating problem which he obviously knew the vehicle had and didn t want to repair it because it is very intensive work. He was very happy to take all her income tax cash for the vehicle but doesn t want to make good on the heating problem the car has which has now intensified to a major problem of not fixed. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT BUYING FROM THIS GUY. HE ALMOST HUNG UP ON MY DAUGHTER IN LAW SAYING HE WASNT GONNA ARGUE ABOUT IT AND AINXE WILL NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE. HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A YOUNG GIRL. DONT LET THE CHRISTIAN ACT FOOL YOU. Oh and the reason I gave one star is because it wouldn t let me not give any or I wouldn t have.Lisa Strong

***PLEASE READ BEFORE WAISTING YOUR TIME***I would never waste my money here, we ventured in this little place to purchase my 1st vehicle (truck) and he met us outside, and I asked about a maroon dodge 2500 and the 1st thing he said was "oh that's really expensive, maybe look at this white ford" I thought really? That's the way your gonna treat your customers, then I told him "I'm looking for a dodge, and I've been wanting a dodge D-250, those are in my spending range (2500-4500)" he chuckled and said "oh those are about 7000 dollars on the spot, trust me I should know" I thought are you serious, your gonna treat your customers like a 2 year old, all his items are over priced ( that maroon dodge 2500 is priced around 4000 anywhere else, but here, oh no it's 8000), he is extremely rude, over all if I could give zero stars I would

Purchased car here on 3/25/17 and while driving car home on 3/26/17 motor locked up while driving. CAR LESS THAN 24 HOURS OLD.... Deceptive Trade Practices... Texas Business and Commerce Code 17.46....... knowingly making false or misleading statements of fact concerning the need for parts, need for replacement, or need for repair service on the vehicle purchased. NO STARS TO GIVE ON THE VEHICLE AT ALL... Bob and Jim may be nice but the car sold was no good from the start and it was not checked out as they said.... If so then they knew it had a bad motor and sold it anyway knowing they could use that AS IS clause to get out of selling a Lemmon to us. FOUL DEAL..... FOUL... FOUL...FOUL...
