Our first experience with Misty was amazing, BUT Steve is a whole different story. He took three weeks to come and actually fix the car. Said the alternator was going bad and we had to go in person to Oreily's to buy it (using his discount of course, so he got the rewards points I guess).While he was swapping out the alternator, he found a broken bit on the radiator that he didn't mention before and we had to buy it on Amazon. Once it arrived, it took him 4 days to come out and actually replace it. While he was working on it, he requested I drive him and drop him off at his property because he needed to get some tools. Apparently, he doesn't have his own vehicle right now and stated that he would use one that he was holding for a client until they were able to pay.He came back later with another man to finish the job and completed around 0100 in the morning and would not leave the property until I paid him via CashApp (he refused to take anything else.) As he was walking off the property he pointed at the engine splash guard panels that were hidden under my chili pequine bush (I didn't see them in the dark honestly) and said he would come back the next day to install them because he has "lost" ALL of the mounting bolts in the process of taking them off.... He also took the radiator that he replaced, without asking permission. I had told him if I wanted him to dispose of it I would let him know.Now that he has been paid (my wife was upset about that when she found out he was supposed to replace the panels), he has both me and my wife on block and won't answer our calls. Now, my wife is going to have to have the wheel well panels replaced by manufacturer (expensive btw) because she has been forced to drive to work without the panels in place and they have been falling down and rubbing on the wheel instead of being held away from them.Thank the divine that I didn't ask him to check and replace my rotors I had inquired about, otherwise I would be out of a job because of the absences...Service: Electrical repair

Firstly, there are a couple of reviews here that talk about bad experiences. These reviews are malicious, misleading, or in some instances lying outright.Misty and Steve are hands down the most helpful people I have ever met, and they make a living by being generous, patient, kind, and helpful above all.At the moment of writing this review, i am in a hotel room where misty and Steve drove me, my sister and my girlfriend without hesitation and telling us funny stories with such a good natured attitude you cannot possibly imagine.This was after many hours of driving back and forth from here to San Antonio, Pleasantville and back to San Antonio for parts. At one point they helped tow my car to their shop so it could be out of the road.I called them at 3pm while they were on another call, and they got to me at around 4:30, after which they spent the ENTIRE day trying to help us with our car problem. It is now 1am and we're going to see what we can do tomorrow.Choosing to work fixing cars is a dangerous job where you constantly run the risk of ungrateful clients telling you that you're doing your job wrong.They are not here to rip you off. They are not here to slack off on your car. They are not here to waste your time. They are here to help you.If your car ever has trouble, you better pray you're within that 40 mile radius, because Misty and Steve will take good care of you, not just your car.

Bad experience. Called them to fix a oil problem, they ended up charging me almost $400 just for a oil problem, also they would never call me back or inform me about my car, took a month to get my car back just to have more issues then before. If anything don't trust these guys i have a feeling they might have stole a part to my car, because now it's worse then before. So i paid $400 just to get my car back one month later with more problems. I also had to take time off work because they took so long on my car. I regret trusting these people with my money and car, i hope no one makes the same mistake i did.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Unreliable . Put my in very bad situation never even bothered to call me. I ordered parts he put them in his name so I could get discount . When he didnt bother to show up or call I tried to get parts I was waiting on. Now they are gone I have to reorder will take another day to get them and I still have not heard from steve. Said he would be here around 3pm never showed up. I was even having 100 up front sent cash app. Dont trust this guy

A few weeks ago my pregnant wife, 2 year old son, and I were heading home late at night from San Antonio to Edinburg when our Jeep Grand Cherokee overheated. We pulled over on the side of the road around Pleasanton and we realized that the belt on our jeep had come off. I called Steve, he answered right away and told us he was heading out and would be there in 20. Well 20 minutes later he showed up and found the problem right away. The tensioner pulley has busted. He towed us to his place, fixed it up, and within an hour and a half we were back on the road. Steve and Misty helped us out a ton, and I d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic in the SA area.Also, since the repair was made we ve put over 500 miles on the car and had no issues whatsoever!

Took some time to get to me only because he was on another service call which is understandable but once he did reach me, he fix my car super fast even in this extreme heat I will be using the service again in the future, if anything was to happen to me again

An axle job on a 2004 Ford Freestar. He did it for $160 and came to my rescue when we overheated 10 miles away from the original spot. They re so helpful and informative. I ve recommended him to all my truck clubs cuz he s a real life saver!! Thank you Misty and Steve! Reunited a girl with her van!!

Well I guess it's true they don't respond I called them close to 4 maybe 8-10 minutes before 4 she tells me send me a text of the license plate I needed a water pump replaced on my truck it's been more than an hour they have not returned my my text I wonder what the excuse is going to be

If I could give no stars I would. These peoe are crimanels. Took money $1600 for a job they couldn't do. They pulled the transmission Out to and left it sit in the rain witch damaged it so when a shop got ahold of it they had to fix and replace what they damaged and replace what was lost or stolen. Stay away from this company and I use that words loosly. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY TO A REAL SHOP WITH FOUR WALLS AND INSURANCE.

Steve was quick to accommodate me on a lengthy repair process due to parts delays and but had fair prices and fast repair times. Will definitely use these guys in the future! Thanks Misty & Steve!!

Said they'd be here a 6:30 - 7:00 PM. First they said they were waiting on a tow truck, then they said they had to take their grandpa to the hospital. Don't tell people you're going to be there at a certain time and not show up at all. Unprofessional.

Do not trust that they know what they are doing, do not rely on them to show up when they say they will, do not believe them when they say they'll have the work done within a certain timeframe, and whatever you pay them, be prepared to pay twice that amount to have an actual professional fix everything they mess up.

I was stranded 38 miles away from Steve. He came out right away.
