An amazing experience! We broke down on our way home back to Houston. Had a towing company take us to Jays and they were able to get us up and ready super quick!!

These folks are straight shooters. Do quality work at fair prices! Full front end work done on my Ram 3500. They have a rack big enough to fit my lifted truck for alignment. Will be back when needed next time

Hubby and I just left this shop. We didn't have an appt but they took us anyway. Everyone was really nice, it only took a few minutes and they even had a young guy selling chocolates from our home town! Thank you Jay's....

They are always friendly and helpful. I've only needed their services for vehicle inspection and oil changes thus far. Call ahead to schedule your oil changes and go in early for inspection.

Best auto shop in town. Very knowledgeable and honest, as well as personable service. I have been going to Jays for years and never had a problem. They are often busy; that is because they are the best shop in town.

This was my first visit and the experience was wonderful. They did a wheel alignment and it drives like a new car. A dealer told me I needed brakes. They examined them gave an honest opinion that I still have 20K miles of wear left. They will definitely get more business from me!

Accurate info on their website proved true in person. Personable, prompt, efficient, professional, reasonable costs. They take consistent steps to promote health And safety (against the pandemic). Reception staff communicated well in English and/or Spanish. I've been pleased and satisfied with their service each of the many times I have been there. Today, however, was perhaps the best yet. Go Jay's!

The people that work here. Make it worth driving to Elgin from Austin to get your car worked on. They are busy, busy, busy right now. They give discounts, they give advice to guys like me who work on their own cars. They are awesome

I had stopped in to see if they had time for an inspection so I could renew my tags, they got me in and out in just a few minutes! This is also where I go to get my car's oil changed and serviced. They take good care of you!

Great service on my husband's truck and they had it finished the same day! I would of given them 5 stars but they forgot to give me the socket back which unlocks my tires. I got it back only after returning about a week later and asking for it. I had left a message with one of the workers the same day and he said we will get it back to you some way tomorrow. But they did do a great job on the truck. Thanks

Everyone was very polite. I actually like the fact that they do appointments or schedule only. I just went in for an oil change foe it wasn't a crazy wait at all.

Been here for a couple very quick inspections, a rotation, and suspension issues. The staff is very informative and educated on answering your questions and the techs are even friendly. After their hands get on your vehicle, you don't miraculously have other issues come up any time soon after. They will give you valuable advice and let you know if you're waisting money on unnecessary purchases or repairs while suggesting alternative and less costly routes. After taking their advice, I've had no issues. Their waiting room is very nice, equipped with a large TV, comfy larger seating and free coffee. If you don't want to wait, several shopping stores, Lucy's Kitchen and a couple privately owned coffee shops are a couple blocks / walking distance from the place. The owner, Jay, is also associated with the small towns famous and heroic fire department which gains my integrity trust.

HIGHLY recommend Jay's Auto!My knowledge of vehicles is slim to none and when my Jeep started having issues, the technicians explained and demonstrated what was going on to help me understand. In my 7 years of driving and having my vehicle serviced, I have never experienced better customer service. They gained a life long client today!

I visited Jay's Tire & Automotive Repair shop a few days ago due to an overheating problem. They helped me with good knowledge and skills professionally! They are almost the best/biggest shop in that area. The front desk lady and the guy are both very friendly. The owner Jay is knowledgeable and quick on diagnosis. The price is good too! I really appreciate the help and being honest to customers! Thank you!

I went there with a classic nail-in-the-tire flat. They were super friendly, very nice, and took care of it right away. In 20 minutes I was back on the road home, happy as can be. Good service and the price was very reasonable. If the tire holds up I'll take my other cars here to be serviced and get some work done.

Theese guys seriously take ur life into consideration. Jay is always super nice and upfront about costs and what u can do in the mean time. They really try to work with you and help. Super nice and will continue to take my cars here (:

Great customer service, got my state inspection. Super friendly. Great atmosphere. Knowledgeable staffI absolutely love this place, you cant beat integrity. Jay's auto has fixed a few of my cars. I will not go anywhere else! Period!

We got there, first time ever coming here so unsure on how they handle the clients. Workers just passed us by but no one told my husband what to do. So when the truck in front of us leaves we went up and my husband got down to ask and then one of the workers told my husband to move the truck. We took our business somewhere else. Maybe if they had a better customer service not everyone know how you'll work.

OMG! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I was driving back to Austin the other day when my car started to overheat and flash alerts. Of course, the first thing I did was panic. I called Jay s and an Angel, by the name of Heather, answered the phone. She placed all the common sense back in my head, and advised me on how to handle my vehicle, as well as my next steps. She even called me back later to check on me while I waited to be towed. If this isn t excellent customer service, I don t know what is! Long story short, I was able to get back to Austin in one piece and my vehicle is back up and running. I really am grateful for Heather. Automotive repair that cares!

Absolutely fantastic service on all levels. Went in about a month ago because my brakes were squealing pretty badly and had recently experienced some real trouble braking as quickly as I would have liked. They were able to fit me in, showed me exactly what was going on with the vehicle, weren't condescending in their explanation, and were 100% focused on my overall safety above all else. Saying that pricing was fair would be doing these guys an injustice as I know that most other shops I've visited in the past would have happily gouged my wallet and then some. I actually feel safe in my vehicle now (It's amazing what we get used to in terms of how much force should be required to brake or turn as I went from literally grinding down the rotor with what used to be a brake pad and hardly any brake fluid to actually braking with the entire system revitalized as is proper) and I would gladly recommend this shop to anyone with a vehicular malady. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back here for preventative maintenance now that I know what sort of place I am dealing with. Top marks, guys. You have my most sincere thanks and gratitude.

Had a vehicle towed to Jay s. I was in Houston so I went with a posted review chose to have vehicle sent to Jay s. Super thorough on what corrections were needed. Very professional. I had to pick up truck after hours. Jay s team came up with a plan. It was executed and I am pleased. Thank you sir to Heather and Your Team for everything. I made it back to Conroe late last night. Follow up voicemail from Heather was awesome. Hit the Taco stand on the way out of Elgin. Thanks for dinner.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I came in worried due to experiences I've had with automotive repair in the past, but was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Jay's! They fully addressed my issues, and didn't wreck my bank account in the process. Overall it was headache and hassle free. I'll definitely return to Jay's for any future repairs and maintenance!

Great people and quality. The price is kinda high and I'd use your best judgement what in the quotes you actually want done, but they fixed mistakes Hurst and other auto shops made when fixing my vehicles.
