All I can say is wow! What an amazing people at an amazing place. The prices are more than fair, their service is excellent and you don't feel like you're going to get robbed or taken advantage of. How refreshing to see such honest and high quality service. True professionals. Can not thank you enough for making such stressful event an amazing and reassuring experience. I wish we had you in Virginia where I live.

I have worked with Eddie and Krystal for 5 years. My 2007 Lincoln Mark LT truck is very, very, very important to me.Friendly's has shown me that they are the most trustworthy, sincerely caring and skilled auto repair shop anyone could dream of.The level of detail they provide me with text message updates, pictures, research, problem solving skills and a proactive mindset is incredible.A couple of times they took the role of therapist when I was freaking out lol.Listen guys and gals, I am a workaholic on my consulting business and time management is very important to me and I have a really high standard of customer service, subject matter expertise, transparency, honor and value.After they moved from Austin to Elgin, I now drive 40 minutes each way to maintain service & maintenance and work from their lobby as a remote with a comfy couch & table, TV and WIFI, and coffee bar area with stools and a bar top set up for my computer and legal pad and cell phone etc...free coffee too.You just start to feel so "at home" as you spend time with Friendly's. I would drive 3 hours each way and stay at a hotel to work while my truck was being serviced if I had to.They have saved me AT LEAST $10,000 by repairing issues that MULTIPLE other repair shops (with high ratings and happy customers) have told me would require things like a new engine or timing chain replacement or some other very expensive parts/labor hour intensive process if I wanted to fix the trucks issues.5 stars is not enough. If there were 100 stars as an option I'd give them all 100 without a doubt.

I had just moved to Cypress from Austin and was on my way back from visiting my Mom as our family dog passed. I had noticed a funny smell but thought it was the jeep in front of me so I didn t think of anything till I couldn t see out of my rear window and then my oil light came on and I turned right into Quick Trip and sure enough oil was everywhere ugh. Anyhoo I have AAA and called them for a tow and they told me to bring my car to a AAA place all the way in Pflugerville for an extra $135 so ridiculous. Well luckily the very nice AAA guy Michael told me about Friendlys Auto right around the corner and how they are good people who do great work. So true!!! I am so Thankful for everyone who worked on my Betty White AKA my 2007 Lexus 350 RX. The price Brenda (who is also awesome and kept me up to date with text) quoted me was incredibly inexpensive and I was pleasantly surprised! They are such honest people and did great work!!! When I move back to Austin they are now my go to Automotive repair!!! My Betty White and I made it back to Cypress easy breezy!!! Took my Ford Explorer to Jon, and Krystal, and they kept me informed with updates every single day! Outstanding service. Pleased with the work and service. I will take my vehicles there from now on. And I will recommend their shop to my family and friends. Best oil change service I ever received:Upon entering this friendly business, I was greeted promptly with a genuine smile. The price for the oil change was under $50 bucks, & when the service was completed, my car smelled heavenly! Thank you, Friendly Auto Repair!

Have been using Friendly's for a couple of yrs. for a older truck that I got after my dad passed so it means the world to me. Always have received friendly service and fair prices. Won't go anywhere else. So glad we heard about this place.

Omg so great fast In and out very professional and personable, made me feel like family. While I was sitting in the waiting area they also had a walk in and they couldn't fit him in, they made sure to send him somewhere they could take him so he wasn't wasting his time looking. I really enjoyed seeing that level of customer service. it's hard to find. Great team thanks!

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The work is done quit and professionally. The waiting room is clean and pleasant. Prices are a little higher than others, but not crazy. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Had issues with my car starting and had it towed here for repair. They were busy but I was okay with leaving my car over the weekend. They then informed me what was wrong with my car and how to resolve it. The end price was more than reasonable. Will definitely be back with any future issues with my car.

I can t begin to say enough great things about the shop and every single employee I have encountered. All the positive reviews you are seeing are 100% true.I have struggled finding an honest good mechanic since moving to the area- Friendly s is that local community type of repair shop. They are honest, dependable, and hands down the most real time communicative shop I have ever been to.Just today while getting my E-brake repaired for my inspection, I received a very detailed text letting me know a completely separate issue about my oil and actually did me an enormous favor by offering to do an oil change.

Probably the fastest inspection I've ever had. It was especially convenient that I could do the registration across the street.On top of that, it was clean, well-lit, had complimentary coffee, and from the five minutes I spent there it looked like they are also invested in transparency regarding repairs.

The only auto repair that I will use, they are honest, professional, reliable and reliable. I have been doing business with them for a couple of years and I know that I can trust them to treat me fairly and to fix all of the repairs correctly the first time. I don t usually give personal references, but Friendly s has more than earned a perfect reference from me.

Very courteous and do what they say. They have been very Informative and professional both times we have used them. Brenda is great and always ready to help! They communicate as they say they will prior to doing work on your vehicle. We will be returning to Friendly's as long as we are in this area. I will do my best to avoid bad jokes about how Friendly's Auto Repair is so friendly, but it's true.I took my car there after a pothole on I35 busted my strut through the mounting plate. I saw they had good reviews, but mostly I took it there because they were close to where I was and I didn't want to tow the car. I could not have gotten luckier. They were very accommodating and nice. They got the car fixed for cheaper than I was expecting and they finished faster than their own estimate; got it back same day. On top of all that, they helped me out with a dent in my car as well. They did a great job and were very welcoming on top of that. I will definitely be talking my car to them from now on.

Great service and value. Have been a loyal customer for over eight years. When they moved their facility from Austin to Elgin we still drive out to have our vehicles serviced with them, definitely trust and value their work.

Had a very pleasant experience with these people today. Brought my truck in to get u joints replaced and was very impressed with how nice and clean the office was. Drooped it off and they checked to make sure that was the only issue and kept me up to date on their progress through the repair. Price was fair and they service was great and timely. Very "Friendly". If I have issues close to this shop again they will my 1st call.

Remarkable service. Krystal was beyond nice and was very accommodating. She explained everything well and did a great job of not talking down or explaining something beyond my knowledge. The service was great, the more I talked to Krystal and other team members the more confident I became in the work being done on my car. I was never pressured to buy anything (even though I did in fact need it all) and the rationale for any service or replacement was very clear. Pricing was very fair and the warranty on the service just further upped my already high faith in the work done. While I sure hope I don't have to, I will return here without question if my vehicle needs advanced service again. Easily worth the drive across town.

Update: just can t find a better service in Elgin. Fast and honest each time. Thanks againTook a fleet vehicle in today for a company I manage! These guys are pretty quick and call you through the day if they have any questions. Managing a customer based business myself I can say that this is top tier service. Give these guys a shot and you won t be disappointed

I recently needed a auto repair shop in Austin for my son who lives there to have some front end work on a Ford Ranger, after searching the web i found Friendly's who had great reviews so i gave them a call from where i live in N.H.2000 miles away for a quote. I spoke with Allen who was very prompt on my estimate returning my call within a few hours. I decided to have the work done there and i am glad i did.The mechanic was honest and was told some of the work i requested did not need to be done at this time so the money saved there went towards a front brake job.I also was sent pictures via text of all the old parts coming off and all the new parts going on. I was very impressed. Also the total cost came well under a local Ford dealership's estimate. This will be my son's new shop for any future repairs.Keep up the great work Friendly's!

I stumbled on Friendly's when they were originally located on Tillery years ago. They were the first shop to really earn my trust and keep my business after all this time; here's why. I have owned a car for 15 years & have been on top of the simple upkeep it requires. But by the end of each appointment I'd pay an arm and a leg for something it just didnt need. It was consistent that they would badger me into something with a wordy explanation. It was nerve wracking not knowing enough about the situation and putting your money into an issue based on a mechanic's advice. From the moment I walked into Friendly's they treated me so different, it was a worlds away from my past experiences. They explained everything they were working on step by step, they taught me willingly with passion and excitement. Krystal was the first person I met and the face of the shop. She is very knowledgeable and owns the shop with her husband. This was the first shop (ever) to tell me "no- you dont need to get this replaced just yet." Which usually a shop will take that green light and happily charge you. They have given me confidence back in owning and maintaining my vehicle. After years of seeing them, I have sent my friends and family enthusiastically to them. I am 100% willing to drive to Elgin for the quality service they provide. I also have felt comfortable enough to reach out to Krystal from another state to ask her about work im doing on the car. Even from thousands of miles away she has saved me money and peace of mind. I've been coming to Friendly's for over 2 years with 4 different vehicles! These guys are quick and get the job done right every time. Super friendly faces in the office always great you and offer coffee during your short wait while they work. Fair prices and quick turnaround, highly recommended.

I scheduled an appointment yesterday to bring in my Jeep Cherokee for an oil change, I was greeted immediately by crystal and the service techs, simply amazing, especially when greeted by name. I was then offered water and sitting which was very pleasing. You can not ask for a more friendly professional business than Friendly s. I was always kept abreast of what was going on with my vehicle throughout the process. Krystal didn t mind me texting her and inquiring, she would even send pictures of the work they were doing. Even when they came upon a small problem she let me know. If you need an honest business to work on your vehicle this is the place. I will NOT take any of of my vehicles any where else.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance
