Very bad experience, had a tow truck company take my car here because they recommended them "very good service" I trusted the guy, biggest mistake ever they charged me for a diagnostic for my vehicle,didn't even show me a paperwork or any report showing what the diagnostic report was, Sam the owner sweared it was the battery and alternator which was never the cause, I took my vehicle to BMW service and nothing what Sam told me his "diagnostic" reported was accurate . When I picked up my vehicle I founded a pack of cigarettes, and they lost my mail key and took all my change that I had on my vehicle ! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AVOID GOING HERE .

Similar experience to a recent review. I wanted to bring my car to a different shop after it broke down. My tow truck driver called me to recommend another place instead. I made the mistake of allowing him to talk me into this place that I've also visited for another issue I had with my car. Both times I never received an itemized receipt and it was just charged a random amount. This time I was called by the owner who let me know that at first nothing was wrong with it and it was driving. Then later I called for an update and said he ran a diagnostic and said it was a transmission. I quickly started searching for a new car since I had no time to deal with a bad transmission on an older car. I went to go pick it up and was told that what the diagnostic and the oil that they charged me for was going to be $200. Again, no itemized receipt and was just charged. I would have rather gone to a shop that lists in detail what they did and how much it cost.

Paid $470 to have my radiator changed. The owner is very RUDE. After I picked up my car I realized they forgot to add new anti-freeze to my car so I drove my car all the way home without it. After I called them to ask if they had forgotten to put coolant or if maybe there was a leak somewhere, the owner was hanging up the phone and I heard him say this guy has called me hundreds of times in a very rude tone. In reality I called him 3 times total, once to schedule the appointment, once to return his call, and once after pick-up when i saw there was no coolant. I would NOT recommend giving your money to this business since they missed such a SIMPLE part of changing a radiator and topped it off with providing TERRIBLE customer service.

Don t let the towing guy take you to vista. I broke down and I called the towing to take me to fire stone shop , the towe guy recommended Vista auto service , and they said the Diagnastic will be free when we get there he gave me a quote of $4500 for new engine which I felt something wrong I reject the service and I called different towing company and I did towed my car to different shop and I was surprised it was the alternator and I paid $450 parts and Labor. And Vista auto service charged me $250 for diagnostic which is first said for free.run away

Mr Sam and Mike know their stuff ! I have 2013 f150 5.0 that was in the worst possible condition and Mr Sam was able to bring it back from the dead! It s hard to find a honest mechanic nowadays but this man has integrity when it comes to his business and reputation and stands by his word. I have been by 3 times and he always comes through. Really I can t thank him enough. Thank you Sam!

Azzam was the best. I highly recommend using this gentleman shop. My two daughters were stranded in Elpaso with a busted front bumper and he was able to get them on the road quickly and safely and communication and transaction. We re super smooth and they were back on the road very quickly.

My 2006 F250 super duty broke down while on my way to Austin with my wife and two young kids. The truck was towed to Vista with the recommendation of the tow truck driver. I spoke to the owner, Sam, and informed him of my situation. He and his mechanic began diagnosing my truck right away and put my truck priority even though it was already 4pm and there were other vehicles already being worked on. Sam was able to diagnose and fix the problem by the next day. His prices were very fair for the amount of time spent diagnosing and trouble shooting the issue. Sam even called me the next day to make sure my family and I made it home safe.Service: Engine repair

Had vehichle towed here once last year and had very fast quality service, has now become my go-to service center for any need I've had. Been here multiple times since then and always recieve the best work, prices and breakdowns with quick services. Highly recommend.

This man, Sam, completely saved my life on a miserably hot El Paso day. I was stranded and he was at my side five minutes after my desperate call, to bring my battery back to life and remove the jacks from under my vehicle. It was a terrible assignment under the harshest conditions, but he did the job like a champion (resourceful and improvisational!) and an hour later I was safely back on the road. He was pleasant and competent, just the right man for a rescue. I encourage anyone in the El Paso area to call on Sam when car trouble arises. Five stars!Service: Battery

I am very happy with the service here. I have bought in two of my cars. They did the spark plugs, crankshaft sensor and the ICM unit. They have good service if you need to find out if the car is ready or they need some more time it is called a phone call in stead of having to drive over there. People with a business are busy a good professionalized person knows this. I always call before going anywhere to pick up something because all businesses are busy.

Awesome work I trust Sammy and Tony with my vehicles. Left both of my vehicles amazing only mechanic in town I trust. Very well priced and they get straight to the point. You go there and they diagnose the exact problem with any vehicle. Also they are efficient and timely. So I would highly recommend this auto shop to everyone.

First off being from California and El Paso Texas has being good to me!.. My car had broke down the other day and I came to Vista Auto Service and right away they made me feel welcomed and took care of me and my car so I could get back home. I was going through a rough time and now I'm feeling better. I highly recommend any body come here if you want to be treated right. good price and good service and also good time....

Sam was extremely accomadating and helpful! My RV broke down outside of El Paso, and I was towed their. Sam and his technicians worked very diligently to assess the (electrical) problem, and I was on my way within a few short hours!. Reasonable price, to. I highly recommend. They treated me very nicely and fairly.

The towing service driver tries to push on this auto repair. Either there partners or he's getting a kickback. Do your own research before you take your vehicle there. Warning over priced. The tow service guy George is very convincing and he says there won't be any charges; if we are not happy and wont be a charge to get it towed to the original place I wanted. At the end, Sam wanted to charge me for a diagnostic plus the towing service to get my vehicle to the original destination.

I took my BMW Z4 and was extremely satisfied with the quality of work and service! It's hard for me to find honest mechanics and really felt a great vibe with Sam. I really felt he was sincere with me and with the service my car really needed! I definitely recommend for foreign car owners who don't want to over spend at dealerships.

Our car stalled out and we had the car towed to Vista Auto service. I told them that the car had recently been replaced with fuel pump and sensors. I left it and next day they called me to tell me that the fuel tank was empty and needed for me to return the 6 month old fuel pump with warranty. Upon exchanging for new fuel pump and leaving them 2 gallons of gas from my gas can, I left the car there another day. I called them to ask on status? They said that the car runs fine after they drove it and they cleared a code. I went to pick up our car and my bill thay was not detailed to services done was $250 to essentially be told I had an empty fuel tank. No parts were replaced. I do not recommend this auto shop.

Dont go here period, my truck was supposed to go to viva Chevy and the tow driver recommended here so I agreed. They quoted me 150 bucks for my shifter cable replacement. I already had one and when they got it fixed Sam said it came to a total of 800 dollars. Toxic place and people. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and dont listen to tow truck drivers.

The crew here at Vista Del Oro are excellent at their work! Towing by George, a cheery fellow, and emergency repairs done overnight by Sam made a very trying time into a great time, complete overview with what was needed to be done, what to expect and what has been done to troubleshoot.While my hybrid was not a typical vehicle, they were able to push through in a reasonable time frame.

Sam was great! I had the unfortunate experience of getting gas in my diesel while traveling through. The tow truck guy recommended him, and called him around 6am on a Saturday morning. He gave me a quote, and said he could finish that day. He came early to his shop since he knew I was sitting there waiting, and even offered to loan me his truck for the day! The final price was a little more than quoted, but that s not unusual. Still not bad for an early morning wake up call. Lol! Thank you, Sam!

After my battery light came on, I went to the company I bought it from as it was under warranty. Also, the car was making a humming sound when accelerating/decelerating. The battery tested well and I was sent to Vista. They were busy, and since the alternator was working, just going out, I expected to be told to come back after Thanksgiving. But, they fixed the whole thing in about two hours that same day. $350.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was in a horrible situation after my tow truck driver blew the rest of my transmission on my way from Texas to Arizona. These guys were a life saver! Honest, affordable, and quick! Thank You for getting me home safe! Transmission is still running better than ever! I recommend giving them a call if you are in need of assistance!

I was traveling from San Diego, Ca to San Antonio during the Labor Day weekend, when my transfer case on my Silverado lock up due to low gear oil, I was tow to vista auto service, the owner Zam said that they would start on Tuesday due they were close for Labor Day, no problem I understand, it was Sunday. The problem was the transfer case was not the original one that was called for by the vin number, Tony the mechanic and Zam spend two fulls days driving and looking for the correct transfer case, which they did not charge me for the time. Finally when the correct part was found they were quick to repair and get me back on the road. The price was a lot cheaper than other places that I call around, the service was great, great customer service, my truck ran like a new truck again. Highly recommended this place, I am keeping them on my cell phone due to I drive thru here twice a year.
