When you re over a barrel because you absolutely need repairs and the shop has your rig, and they happen to be the kind of shop that overcharges . The representative via communicated was Manny. After I explained exactly where the coolant leak was, he said he didn t see anything and then he said my problem was not a transmission leak. It was a blown rear seal. This does not give me confidence in this individual, and he was wrong.I asked for a price for an oil change while I was there before I realized they were kind of shop that gouges people I ve been getting oil changes for about $200 and that includes the oil and fuel filter and they wanted to charge me $640!!!They charged me $427 just to hook up a scanner . Ridiculous, unacceptable! But they had me over the barrel - so here I am paying it. .Thankfully, the technician seemed to know what they were doing, and got me back on the road in seven hours and $830 later .. to their credit, they did give me a 10% discount for my military service.

The entire staff is awesome! Thank Larry for coming to talk with me before leaving and asking if I had any questions about the work that was done. Jose, thanks for all the phone calls informing me what was happening. And a huge thank you for getting me in quickly.

Horrible Experience!!! Me and my husband have a tractor that we took here back in Jan. They said it was gonna be about a week to get fixed. We called in to check on it that following week, they hadn't even started on it. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt. They said they would take it in and start on it. Fast forward almost a month later they claimed the truck is ready but is having hard starting issues!!! How we have never had this issue Ever!! But they claimed they ran a fuel test and everything was good. We picked it up and it was still having that hard start problem. About 2 days later the truck is broke down and now this new shop is saying it was metal in the fuel system and of course we can't get a hold of anyone or they are always passing the phone along and don't ever call us back .. Between this shop , the tow and the new shop $20,000 !!Never Again!!

The service here is great. The people are very courteous, everyone we dealt with was very nice, helpful and friendly. They stand behind their work. We had a semi truck worked on here and after they got it fixed, they let it stay there til we could get the driver back there to pick it up, no storage fees.

LANDSTAR BCO APPROVED I called Stewart and Stevenson last on my list from Petro, Speedco, Flying J, Cummins and even the dealership.I was given either sky high quotes or an excuse of why it couldn t be done from all the other guys.I had transmission issues and codes with a great fear of going into the red. Luckily I spoke a gentleman named Pablo at S&S and he advised me to bring it in. My truck a needed transmission filters and fluid changed. These amazing people were able to get me in and out in less than two hours.At every step I was really impressed by the courtesy, professionalism, and respect from the phone call to pulling out of the shop with a smile on my face.I also wanted to mention they charged me the lowest price in town. My hats off toStewart & Stevenson!

I went there on Friday they fix my truck I got down the road about 70 miles and problem return I called them and they told me to come back in on Saturday which is a day they are closed. They stayed there Saturday until they got my truck running properly. Johnny is very knowledgeable and he's a mechanic not A-Tech he knows his stuff and I would recommend this place to anybody that has problems in that area. The service manager Manny is very helpful also I ask about a food truck because I hadn't eating anything that morning and when the manager Manny went out to lunch he brought me a burrito back very good people there.

After much research and visiting a couple of other service shops, I trusted my gut and went with Stewart & Stevenson to service the Allison transmission in my Class A motorhome. The service supervisor knew exactly what the job required and answered all of my follow up questions. They also did a radiator flush and checked my suspension. They determined that all was good and that I didn t require any expensive replacements or work done. Very honest assessment. If you want the job done right, by qualified service technicians, I d definitely recommend Stewart & Stevenson in El Paso. In addition to the quality of the work performed, the customer service was outstanding! A solid 5 stars!

Excellent customer service and consideration for the out of town drivers. Discounted hotel stay, door to door driver pickup and drop off between shop and hotel. They had my truck ready when stated it would be done. Repair less than quoted! A great overall experience for me.

These guys are the best! We were on a road trip in our bus and they fit us in and fixed our problem in a few hours. Highly recommend!

Hey, this place does good work and even went over and beyond for us, then my boss tried to cheat them. The manager is a good and gracious man and the staff is friendly and kind. Top notch! Nice lounge too...

Very professional treated me very nicely...found the problem and got me out of there less then half a day....and charged half of what FRIEGHTLINER would of.....will be using these guys again....just ask for pablo....truck runs great!

Well I don t understand all the reviews aboveBut personally I had the worst experience ever I would never recommend this shop to anybody unless you want to waste time and nothing done to the rv vehicle taken in for 2 weeks I would be really happy to escalate this to upper level management or corporate but it s impossible don t take your vehicle please but if you take in good luck Gabriel

They quoted me $250 an hour labor and $3.25 per mile for road service only 20 miles out of El Paso.
