I went for a front end alignment and oil change. He wanted to quote me for the job I deferred. I upgraded my front end and was about time for a oil change as well. 1 oil change was spot on I probably would of saved 5$ doing it myself. I broke my steering stabilizer bolts driving it to him and he gave me a quote that was about the same I payed to fix it myself. He told me he could have the parts on order because I know you can't go to AutoZone and pay for it. I deferred. Installed the parts and my death wobble is gone. The owner really cares about any vehicle that comes in his shop and the owner. I would recommend this shop by far and will be seeing this shop if I have any issues. We have been taking our vehicles to Super 5 for a few years now. They have worked on all of our cars, repairing anything from a water pump to a transmission. In every case, they have evaluated the needed repairs, given us an estimate, and on at least a couple of occasions, worked with us to find ways to reduce the cost of the repairs. They have warrantied their work, and have never charged us for evaluating and providing an estimate. I would and HAVE recommended them to others who need work on their vehicles.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission replacement

Save your money. These people are crooks. I took my car running for a simple radiator swap. Had to leave in a tow truck. And they tried to return the car with the spark plug covers off and the bolts missing. I had taken my cars to them for years but then they got pretty money hungry. It's a shame.

I went to this business to hopefully find out what issues my car had. I was referred by a male friend who had assured me that he always takes his cars here and was never charged for an estimate in repairs. However when I went in for the same service I was charged $90 even though one of the staff members had confirmed prior that there would be no charge for just looking at what was wrong with the car. When I brought up why I was being charged the owner was very rude, dismissive and reacted aggressively to my complaints.(shoving chairs). After throwing the keys on the counter, he let me leave without charging me but I still felt discouraged to receive any kind of honest service as a female.

I was referred here by Masterlube to fix my AC. A 1 day repair turned into 8. The man running the shop has no clue how to work with vehicle insurance. The shop manager was aggressive the entire time. He was reviewed previously as being aggressive with females and that was ignored by the customer service POC stating "thats not somethingthey do there".. He refused to release my vehicle after the insurance approved the repair and the final order was received. This place is a perfect example on why you should just pay more money at the dealership. Don't used this business. He is the shop manager and expects his mechanics to process the insurance claims because he is incompetent. He leaves out of town and has no one handling day to day operations. Not worth the headache. He began knocking over items on his desk to try to intimidate me. When i asked him to call my insurance company, all of a sudden his English wasn't so good. If you are female and you want to use this place, take a male with you, maybe this man will behave like an adult. Reporting this to the BBB.Service: Air conditioning

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Avoid this place. My boyfriend took my car in to have the tire censor fixed and one of the fog lights replaced as I think it was electrical. He also asked if they could check the seatbelt sensor light and give us an estimate as to how much it would cost us to have it fixed. After 3 days of not hearing from them we called back and they told us they had already fixed everything and that it would be $495.00. When we asked why they had fixed the seatbelt problem without authorization, the man in the front got rude. He said we had to pay for labor as they had already done the work. When I asked for a discount since they had done the work without authorization, he said he would not charge me the tax and refused to talk to me because I wasn't the one who took the car in, even though it belongs to me and I was going to pay for it. apparently this is the way they-do business .Long story short...I will be calling the BBB.

I received the absolute BEST customer service here! The Manager Mr. Alvarez was so helpful to me. They fixed my brakes perfectly and gave me an oil change. He even checked my hoses, fluids and belt at no extra cost. This will be the only auto service place that I bring my car too. Thank you so much for all of your help!!! :)

I took my BMW 7 series for service. The professionalism and kindness of Mr. Torres was exceptional. My vehicle had a coolant leak and also a vacuum leak. Thanks to Super 5 I saved around $1200 that I would have paid BMW dealership. I am so grateful and will continue to bring my cars here. If you are looking for a trustful place I really recommend Super 5 Auto Service.

Went in for transmission issues. After about 2 hours of looking at it, I get a quote of 2000.00 to replace my transmission. Another option was to rebuild. I drove it home to think it over. Well it was a simple fix. I added 2 quarts of oil. Their master mechanic over looked the obvious. You decide. Get a second opinion.

Great service and customer care. I highly suggest that anyone who needs there vehicle inspected or fixed come to this place. Prior to coming here I stopped at pep boys and they sucked so bad and were super rude so I left. Here I was treated with respect and taken care of. The price was amazing in comparison to what other places wanted to charge me. I'm in the military and they took that into consideration and applied a military discount which really helped since I just got stationed here and money is a bit tight. I can assure that for the remainder of my time here in El Paso if I ever have any issues with my vehicle this is the first and last place I will ever need to stop. I hope this helps anyone looking for a place to get their vehicle checked.

I took my 1997 Jeep Cherokee for a transfer-case repair. Transfer-case was engaging and disengaging once it encounter terrain resistance. They charge me more than $800 to change the chain and oil pump. I used the vehicle once and it went back to do the same symptoms. Took it back to super five and the manager said he believe there was issues but because he could not replicate the symptoms there was nothing he was able to do. They test the vehicle on the asphalt and by lifting the vehicle on a lifter. Both of these methods did not put any friction/resistance on the tires; consequently, no issue was encounter. The parts have warranty, but he did not approve to open the transfer-case for review. I assume he did not want to invest time and labor on revising if the work was done properly. This was my experience on Super 5 Auto service. It is my opinion that this shop does no have the expertise, but they take the job anyway. They charge as an expert, but do not delivered the work related to how much they charge. I am not interested on dealing with this shop again in my life. Watch out and have a nice day!

Just left Quality Tire and had problems with my ABS system. Put a scanner on drove the car and id'd the problem. Told him I could probably do it myself and he said that's fine but if you need anything else done please come back. Oh by the way no charge for the scanner. Haven't been treated buy a mechanic and a long time like he treated me.in

Took my car for an oil leak. A week later, my car was in the same exact spot, in the same exact way I parked it when I dropped it off. Owner tells me it will cost $500 to fix the oil leak because it was most likely leaking from the rear engine seal and would have to take the transmission down for that. Apparently, they diagnosed it before even looking at it. He did acknowledge not looking at it but because of their experience, they knew already. I don t think so. I picked up my car immediately. When I picked it up, the owner tried to play it off by telling me he was going to make sure his mechanic put all the parts back in my car. Little did he know I was right outside the shop by my car. It s hard to find a good mechanic these days that won t try to jack you for your money. Smh

Took my car in to have left upper control arm and ball joint, front brakes with front rotors turned and wheel alignment done. We were charged $481.00. When I drove away the car continued to pull in the exact same manner as when I dropped it off. I drove back immediately and they took the car back in. I waited again for over an hour as they kept driving my vehicle and bringing it back. The owner Mr.Torres told me the alignment could not be done on my car because my frame was bent and that it would cost me over $300 to send it out and get it diagnosed. He said he guaranteed that the wheels were straight and that it would not waste tires. After driving it in the highway, my left front tire popped, after buying new tires at Discount Tire the car got worse, shakey and pulled unpredictable to both sides. Took it to Brake Masters, they diagnosed with computer alignment and found that all 4 wheels were severely unaligned. The front had a severe toe and the jam nuts were loose causing my tire to pop, which he guaranteed would not happen. The car was left perfectly aligned by Brake Masters and my frame is not bent. After going back to Super 5 to request a refund per my guarantee the owner Mr. Torres refused to look at the computer print out from Brake Masters, he called me a liar about my popped tire, and even denied talking to me about guaranteeing the job. He then tells me I'm trespassing and locks me out. I called the police and while waiting I noticed the mechanic doing alignments was eyeballing with no computer. After the police talked to him he realized he could be liable for much more and was a big safety issue. He robbed the wrong person and offered to refund my $70 alignment.

My elderly Asian father who barely speaks English was taken advantage of by this place. This happened last year. He brought in his truck to have his A/C fixed. They made my parents wait all afternoon, then said they have to order parts. They paid $847.00 to have the a/c compressor changed, expansion device, A/C service and 3 other things. The next day, my parents brought it back saying it wasn t working. They kept telling them nothing is wrong. My parents finally gave up. We got the truck to get it fix and the mechanic said nothing that was on the receipt was done! The A/C compressor was so old! I have pictures and receipts since we will be filing a claim in court for this. You took an advantage of an elderly couple and did nothing. My mother had medical appointments such as her chemo and they couldn t use the truck. Replaced a front wheel bearing using a hammer, didn't reconnect the ABS censor, ultimately bearing was not seated correctly so it damaged the hub and had to be fixed by the dealer for an additional $500.00. Would not honor their own warranty. I am a truly unhappy customer.Update: Contacted the gentleman below, spent a very long time explaining all the details. No further contact. Yes, they seemed super concerned about making the situation right.

If you a woman don't go there please they change one tire on my audi for $234 I used to go there for both of my cars they over charge me for everything also my sensor light stay on when I bring the car back they damaged my back up camera by fixing the sensor.

We service all of our company vehicles at Super 5 on George Dieter, never a problem. We ve only had one warranty in years and the manager had no problem taking care of it. They keep records of our vehicles and provide all documents necessary for our company when we request them.

They overcharge, don t have your car ready on time, and when they fix it it will have the same problem again a couple days later. Other car shops estimates are almost half of what this con-artist charges. And when my car showed the exact same error code again a couple days after it was fixed , they didn t even fix it for free because of warranty, but charged another couple hundred dollars.Let me just say this: When you first drop off your car and someone has a whole monologue rehearsed about how they re not a scammer, they re probably a scammer.

Went in asked for an estimate on what is wrong with vehicle. Started the work without giving me an estimate or even calling me to tell me what was wrong with my car. Then they wanted to charge me to put the piece back together. Then try to charge me higher prices than what I found online for average price. Then they charge a hazmat fee which was not mentioned to me either either. If u go in, ask for a written statement that it's only an estimate and no work to be done until u sign. I have dealt with other auto shops and I have never had anyone do any work with out contacting me. I will stick to the other places.

My mom took her 1999 yukon to fix the AC and overcharged for parts found much cheaper online. Conartist is what they are at best, they kept guessing and replacing parts and she kept taking the truck back many times. At the end she ended up paying 780.00 with no AC and wanted to charge an extra 445.00 to replace compressor. Why not replace it at the beginning? Totally disgraceful cheat, also did not refund my moms hard working money. She paid almost 800.00 and nothing was fixed. Will report to BBB.if I could put 0 stars i would. The vehicle service at Super 5 exceeded expectations. The team completed the work on time. Prices were upfront and transparent with writing warranty to back up the labor costs. Good customer service from start to finish. I will do business here again in the future.

Watch out the owner tells you it's something else to try to jack up the price gave me a $635 for just a coolant leak fix. Took it somewhere else and got it fixed for $440 plus oil change brake job changed master cylinder and past the inspection so watch out don't use this shop

This place is on the expensive side. I got a wheel bearing done here and it was pricey but I needed it done that day so I paid it. Now month later I called to see how much it would cost for them to install new ( bigger ) pinion gears in the rear diff and they quoted me at 700 in labor. That's ridiculous the job should take any longer than 2 hours. So why are you charging 7 plus hours of labor.

Mr.Torres and his mechanics took care of my wife's dodge journey brakes and my dodge ram transmission in a timely manner with reasonable prices. We are satisfied with the outcome of our cars. Thank you Super 5.

Great customer service very friendly n knowledgeable staff. They even lent me a car to run my own personal errands while my car was being work on. Don t know many auto shops that do that these guys are amazing recommend everyone to get all your auto needs n repairs done here..

Mr. Torres and his staff are HONEST,Professional and Friendly! I came to hey my A/C serviced another place told me my compressor was leaking and it would cost me $1000 to fix. Super 5 located the leak to a $20 valve. They have earned a customer for life in me. Please come here just check them out you will not be disappointed.
