I highly recommend Jay s automotive on Lomaland. I had the water pump and spark plugs replaced on my 2015 Ford Explorer and tech did a great job. Special thanks to Sam who kept in constant communication and provided awesome customer service.

Awesome shop that went the extra mile while servicing my wife s car. Even after I told them diagnostics had been performed at two previous places, they tested everything again to ensure I only got the service I needed. Been coming here for a while now. It s not like some shops where you go in for one thing and they tell you, you need five other things. They listen and have great customer service.I came in on a Friday with no appointment. When I got there I saw they were swamped. I asked if they could just do a thorough inspection of a car I was looking to purchase. Rick told me they would try, but it may not be ready until right before they closed. Jays had my inspection done by 2pm and he gave me some excellent feedback about the purchase. Needless to say these guys are who I call for all my car needs.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I was referred to Jay s Automotive by a user on the NextDoor app and am glad I found out about this place. Very professional in every way. Took care of a multitude of problems that I had over two visits and fixed them all. Pricing was fair and repairs were top notch. It took an appropriate amount of time to fix the issues I had and their free transportation to take me home after dropping off my car and to bring me back once my car was ready (both by Lyft) was a life saver. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend Jay s to my friends for their repair needs.

Jay's Automotive is now our go to place. They shared all diagnostics and after having work done,we picked up our vehicle in a timely manor. Sam, who is up in front explains work needed thoroughly and is very knowledgeable.

Had to visit the shop on a road trip via I-10 due to wobbling and issues with controlling the car. Showed up without an appointment and hoped for the best. Jay and his team did a fantastic job diagnosing and addressing the problem, did not try to sell anything extra and were extremely professional and helpful. If I lived in El Paso I would use this place exclusively for my car. Terrific experience and highly recommend. Thank you, Jay!

Jay s is great. Took our vehicle for alternator issues and they were very busy and said it might possibly take a week. They were able to squeeze us in and took care of the problem within two days. Excellent Job!!! Great warrant on the wheel bearing hub they replaced. I am very pleased with the work they completed on my car. It appears as though they fixed my faulty alarm sensor without me even asking them too. I thank you for all the work you did for me. You will be my go to mechanic from now on. I also highly recommend your work for anyone who needs a dependable mechanic.

I ve visited Jays on two occasions, and both visits were exceptional! The first time was to swap out an alternator, and the second was to address power failure, which they diagnosed and corrected! They kept me involved in the process, gave me options that could ve helped me keep my costs budget friendly, and were helpful every step of the way. I even received a text this morning almost two weeks after my last visit, where they wanted to make sure that everything was running well! Thanks to them, my 94 Celica running as good, if not better, than it did in 94. The engine is still sputtering at times when we step on the gas. Not sure if it s the fuel additive or the additive doing what s it supposed to. But it seems worse than before we took our car in.
