Terrible Service and customer service. My granddaughter took car in to get diagnostic for her air conditioner. Since there were 4 recalls they were going to take care of them. She drove her car with no issues only for air conditioner. When she picked up the car next day she started having problems with the brakes. She called and was told they did not cause the issue. Took the car in was told needed to pay for diagnostics for brakes which she did not have problems with until they did the recall. Now they won t fix the problem they created. She s a college student and they are taking advantage of her. Be careful with this place on any recalls or service. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with them.

Fantastic car buying experience! Steven Ray helped out for 90% of the process and was very thorough. Always helpful and transparent, he took time to show multiple vehicles and go through all features. Upon picking my choice, he and the sales manager made it fairly easy to negotiate a good deal and inform me of every step along the way. They even included a few extra things to sweeten the deal. The finance process was just as seamless and easy. No pressure or markups either! Their detail and effort to explain everything was great; I d buy another. Recommend checking them out for sure

James, my sales guy was great! as was everyone else I delt with..Janet, Ruben & one other gentleman that was helping him. James has already been in contact with a few times to make sure everything is good and if I have any questions or issues with my vehicle. If he doesn't know something, he Will find the answer and get back to you. If you're in the market for a new Hyundai, stop in and ask for James. Thanks again!

Recently bought a car here with Jefferey! Definitely recommend him if you ever go here. Super patient, accommodating & overall just a nice person. Worked with us for hours without ever making us feel like a hassle. Now the finance man, Sergio, I believe; a different story. Had a nasty attitude with us after he couldnt convince us to buy add-ons to the vehicle. Overall, a great experience especially with Jefferey helping, Go ask for him!

Hyundai of El Paso is the place to go to get you on you four wheels. Mr. Wolfgang helped me along the way to get my brand new 2021 SEL Hyundai Tucson. I recommend this dealership to everyone who needs a vehicle.

Lester was the man. Very attentive, asked what we were looking for in a vehicle. Showed us the ins and outs of every vehicle we wanted to check out. Worked a satisfying deal for the Sonata my brother got. My bro and I did check out Honda and Chevrolet before settling on this dealership. Honda was a close choice but gave us pause with the APR.And F that creep from Viva Chevrolet.

I'm not sure how this company could get the rating it has unless the employees rate themselves. Yesterday I had a sales rep help me and before I left the building to get the documents they requested for I asked the sales representative if the person im sending the documents for was my cosigner because I don't want it to fall back on me. The sales representative named Ever says no it's just "a BOOST" to the application your helping them as well. I sent all the documents through text messaging and I never got a reply until late in the evening with an apology saying his phone died. There's false information given about a BOOST while it should be clearly stated its called cosigning. I called today asking about my application and he was like we are still waiting on the documents to be reviewed from the banks that will accept that paper. When he mentioned cosigner it really disappointed me because he told me yesterday "no it's just a BOOST" then today he tried denying it while he sat at that table with me while i asked him that question then admits it again. I talked to his manager again I'm told that the banks are closed. Where's the communication in all this and why lie to cover up for your staff and this manager asked if I talked to his boss I said no I never talked to him today he had Ever call me. Plus the secretary yesterday transferred me once to Ever when his phone was dead or off. I called again to speak to someone else but the secretary kept sending to the Voicemail. If they ask for documents to be text to them please do not send it through text take it straight to them. The communication is not etiquette enough to follow up with the customers. I sat there yesterday from 930 am to 3pm waiting just to be sent home to text documents that I never heard back from. This company is ridiculous.they want customers they need to do better as a company and to train the representatives the difference in cosigning and not saying its a BOOST.

I have been a loyal customer of Hyundai of El Paso for many years, With my family and I having purchased a total of 12 vehicles from them, primarily due to the allure of what is advertised as 'America's best warranty.' Regrettably, my recent experience with this dealership has left me profoundly disappointed. In my opinion, the owner of Hyundai of El Paso, Oscar Leeser, and the General Manager, Carlos Tirado, should be deeply concerned about the reputation of their dealership. Moreover, the Service Manager, Tom DeArman, should share in this concern. It is disheartening to witness a dealership, entrusted with upholding the standards of the Hyundai brand, fail to stand by its products and warranties. One particularly egregious issue revolves around the Theta engine, commonly found in Hyundai Santa Fe Sport vehicles sold by this dealership. This engine has a troubling history of production-related problems, leading to a class-action lawsuit against Hyundai. My ordeal began when my vehicle's engine abruptly ceased functioning while I was traveling at highway speeds on Spur 601. I consider myself fortunate that it did not result in a dangerous situation, but this incident marked just the beginning of my troubles. The warranty claim process proved to be an exercise in frustration. Attempts to gather information over the phone were met with stonewalling, leaving me on hold for an exasperating 45 minutes before I decided to drive to the dealership while still on hold.Upon my arrival, I was informed that my engine had indeed seized. I provided documented proof of two years of regular oil changes using full synthetic oil. Astonishingly, the dealership denied my warranty claim, citing 'exceptional maintenance neglect.' This decision felt like a blatant attempt to evade their warranty obligations and was deeply disappointing. It came to my attention that the dealership had inaccurately entered my vehicle's mileage in the request for warranty coverage. This falsification was entered into the system and submitted for review. When I brought this issue to the attention of the Service Manager, Tom DeArman, he stated that mileage has no bearing on a decision related to warranty coverage. This raises concerns about the transparency and integrity of the dealership's practices. Entered milage was 115,223 with the actual being 72,795. A major discrepancy. My trust in Hyundai's promise of a dependable warranty has been irrevocably shattered by my experience with Hyundai of El Paso. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and avoid this dealership at all costs. The behavior of its owner, general manager, and service manager has left me disheartened and questioning the integrity of their operation. Don't waste your hard-earned money here; there are more reliable options available. Oscar Leesers Hyundai of El paso is profit over people and safety. Stay far away.

My mom bought her car there about a month ago, already a battery warning light, she takes it in, 3 days go by without telling her what s going on. They call and say it needs a new battery for the cost of $512, for a battery change. She bought a full extended warranty, which of course doesn t cover it, they don t even waive the ridiculous $170 diagnostic fee. How about when offering to sell a used car change the battery to ensure when the customer who spends tens of thousands they don t have to deal with the hassle of a dead battery a month in. I don t like the feel of this place and am worried about repairs and phony charges in the future.

EricHinojos was by far the best sales rep I encountered in the last three weeks of searching for a vehicle. I had visited several lots and dealerships and dealt with all sorts of salesman. Some just didn t care. Others were overly aggressive, and Eric was a joy and relief to work with. He took his time, treated me with respect, listened to my needs, and was helpful in finding something in my budget. To be honest, I spent more than my budget, but he was wonderful when it came to working out a good deal on a dream car for me. He went above and beyond and even though I spent more than what I planned to originally, I am 110% happy with my purchase and experience overall. Thank you Hyundai of El Paso I will be recommending my friends.

Everything went fine: the greeting, the browsing around, the test drive, and then the quote & options. I had to give my driver's license to the rep for a soft credit check. I eventually left in hopes of returning when they had the model I was looking for. They let me leave without returning my DL & even kept it for A MONTH! It was sitting in the finance department with all my CONTACT INFO & all it needed was a SIMPLE CALL. They say they get rid of contact info after so long, and yet the rep called me to check my status if I was still interested! After I had forgotten where I might have used it, I was at the point of purchasing a new DL before realizing that I should check there. If a cop pulled me over, I would've been the one to pay & not this selfish dealership!

I would not recommend Hyundai. I went in to have my AC checked on my 2020 car, because it is blowing hot air and to have the recalls fixed. If I wanted any other maintenance done in the car besides the recalls, I was going to Have to leave my car there for three days. Unfriendly service department and during the visit they texted me with the laundry list of repairs my car needed. How do they have time to do the repairs they think I need but do not have the time to check the problem I m reporting? Their prices were outrageous, and I went elsewhere to have my car serviced. Will not buy a Hyundai again.

I had a very positive experience with Hyundai of El Paso. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They were never pushy or overbearing like other car dealerships are. I would definitely buy from them again!

After going to many dealerships, we decided to stop by here and just look. Junior greeted us and I was a bit thrown back because he was so young but he totally proved me wrong. He had knowledge about the vehicles and gave me many options. His patience and attitude were amazing! Stayed with me while we did the finishing touches in finance with Carlos Cardenas who was equally amazing. My credit was nowhere near perfect and these guys worked hard to get me into a vehicle that I LOVE!!!!! Thank you!!!

Horrible agency, bad customer service. Bought a used car in August, they didn t give me my car until after a week and half because something came up upon checking the airbags. A couple weeks after officially receiving the car, the engine light turned on. Took it in for check-up, another two weeks without a car. Kept calling and going in person and no one could give me an estimate about when it would be ready or what was wrong. And they couldn t provide a rental. A month later the engine light turned on. Took it back to used cars and no one wanted to help, went straight to services, and many things were wrong according to the guy who helped me and couldn t believe that they did the service at their location. Car was in the shop with them for another two weeks and couldn t provide rental until last day, when they called car was ready and had to return rental right away and was still charged for rental. During the time my car was in the shop again, I kept calling to see when it would be ready no one would answer and no one would help. They would just have me transferred over and over. Got my car back and literally just a month after the engine light turned on again. It s been in the shop since last week and they keep telling me it ll be ready the next day of when I call, and just then they say it s not ready. So yea it s been a bad quality service and really the cars been longer in the shop than with me. Everything from bad customer service to bad management. Like everyone else has mentioned everyone is nice while buying car, once you take it everything goes downhill from your time, your money to even your car.

I had a very troubling experience at this Hyundai dealership last Friday. Initially, I was assisted by Ruben and the Finance Manager, Sergio, who promised me a finance interest rate of 6.9%. Unfortunately, this turned out to be misleading. Not only did they provide incorrect information about the interest rate, but they also ran my credit around 12 times without my consent, causing my score to drop from the 698 to below 650.Despite my repeated requests to stop, they continued, showing a complete disregard for my financial well-being. Furthermore, I was pressured to commit to the purchase under unclear terms, only to be informed later that the interest rate was actually 10.89% nearly 11%, far from the initially promised rate. This experience was not only stressful but also damaging to my credit score and trust in Hyundai's practices. The dealership's approach to handling potential customers is unfair and misleading, and I urge Hyundai to address these serious issues. Potential buyers should be wary of this dealership's practices, as my experience indicates a lack of transparency and professionalism that should not be tolerated.Sent from my iPhone

We went on July 13th to Hyundai where we got our 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. The sales lady Penelope was friendly, assertive, understanding to our needs and staying within an affordable price. Eugene the sales manager was also very pleasant and provided us with alternatives to find what we were looking for. We definitely recommend Hyundai we didn't feel pressured or overwhelmed it was a great experience. Thank you Penolope and Eugene and staff we love our Santa Fe.

I just purchased a new Genesis from Jesse Vigil, and I am thrilled! He and a few others stayed with me until after 10 P.M. to finalize the deal. I look great in my brand new G70!

Extremely poor service and communication. I called Service with concerns about my 2017 Sonata plug-in hybrid battery. The battery had been degrading slowly over time as expected (losing about 1 electric mile per year) then suddenly began degrading extremely quickly (losing 1 electric mile per month!) I worked with Steven Sanders. He told me to bring the car in (even though when I tried to schedule they kept telling me I didn't need an appointment). He was not familiar with normal vs abnormal battery degradation, and misquoted my vehicle warranty (specifically regarding plug-in hybrid battery life). They insisted that this sudden loss of battery capacity was normal and that the warranty didn't apply (even though the warranty clearly states that, while all batteries slowly degrade over time, the battery would be replaced when it drops to 70% of original capacity). When I pointed this out he stopped answering my calls/texts. He/They kept my vehicle several days to tell me this (which could have been accomplished with a phone call rather than having to drop the car off) AND they never performed the regularly scheduled maintenance which I had also requested. I still don't have an answer re: what is going on with my battery, why it can't be replaced as per warranty, and I keep getting reminders to bring the vehicle in for servicing.

Ask for Eunice! She was my rep and she was great She set expectations on what the process is like, I wanted a specific color and certain features she called me when it was available to order and when my vehicle would come in. Had a great experience! Told up front they add no additional fees, markups for product availability. When it came time to sign it was exactly like she was said. The whole process was quick and painless. Definitely recommending them to all my friends and family.

At Hyundai service department again and as usual received horrible customer service. Had an appointment but still waited 25 minutes until someone came out to assist me and that was after I got out of my car twice to ask for assistance. The service department is rude and unprofessional and so are the managers.

Absolutely great experience. We had been waiting on a specific Palisade that we had requested from Jeff and Eugene. They promised to notify us as soon as one was allocated to them. They called and kept us updated as promised. They were really on the ball. When the right one arrived, Erica, our sales person, started putting everything together for a seamless sale. She picked us from the airport and had everything ready to go. Thomas, in finance, explained every document and was super friendly. Erica then walked us through the tons of features on our new car. She really knew her stuff!! Everybody was super friendly, the dealership was clean and welcoming. We traveled over 500 miles to buy our vehicle from Oscar Leeser s Hyundai of El Paso. We won t go anywhere else. They are fair, friendly and know their vehicles. Oscar runs a tight ship and he is a great captain of that ship.

Hyundai advertises best warranty, lowest prices and great personal service! But unless you have an issue under a recall....they will not honor all the above mentioned, it's more like buy it! ...Please, get sale/commission and Please don't come back....unless you're gonna buy again!!

Costumer services is really lacking. They take forever to return your vehicle even when it's something minor. I don't appreciate how the service staff disregards my concerns when it comes to my vehicle. I love the fact Hyundai has a really good warranty but the service department needs to do better.
