The Staff is outstanding. Tracy, the owner, is very knowledgeable, especially when it come to vintage collectible cars. I would not trust any one else to repair my vehicles but Affordable Automotive!

Was very surprised by the level of detail they provided about my cars issue. Including the photos of the problem along with the kits needed to repair. George was fun to chat with and took care of my issue promptly.

My 2010 Honda Civic very abruptly died in my driveway and we could not get it out of park. I had it towed to Affordable Automotive at a friend's suggestion and am very glad I did. They were friendly, professional, and excellent communicators. It turned out to be the shifter, though a few other things were wrong with the car as well (all of which were typical things that break down/need replacing in a 12 y/o vehicle with over 103,000 miles on it).I spoke with Mr. George and he went over the repair estimate with me and told me exactly how much each part would cost. They only proceeded once I had approved the repairs. They were done two days earlier than expected and charged a bit less than the original quote since one of the repairs turned out to be a simpler fix than they had anticipated. They even agreed to take it next door to be inspected once the repairs were complete (since it was that time of year and I had not been able to do so earlier in the month--I just had to provide proof of insurance and pay the state inspection fee, which was entirely fine).Long story short, I am very impressed and was very pleased with the service I received. Absolutely would recommend.

They're Grrrrreat! Danny took care of my inspection in like 20 min. Granted, they weren't busy at the time. But the service given, and the service team were extremely personable and professional. A great culture has been built here, and I don't doubt that it is reflected in all their daily business.

The person who answered the phone was extremely rude when I called to ask for information. The whole reason I will choose to take my vehicle somewhere else.

Gave my car for a full motor and transmission inspection in hopes that he could find a leak I mentioned while trusting him with my car. Just to give it back the next day with a call saying that my transmission is leaking but "does not know from where." and there are other problems with the motor, of which he did not list a single one on my transcript. $120 just for him taking out my transmission dipstick seeing its low and putting it back.

I have been using AAR for over 10 years and have never been disappointed, Consistently quality service, repair and warranty for everything they do. I use them for all 4 of my vehicles.. I am so pleased to have found this shop! I had driven to 2 other places prior (since those places did not answer the phone) only to discover they could not take me due to being very busy.I did a Google search and found this place. Called and immediately the phone was answered by Jim. He answered my questions and let me take my vehicle despite them being full. I felt safe leaving it and to my surprise, the problem was fixed free of charge shortly there after! Now that is honesty! Places like this deserve to be made known to others.I opted to get a tune up and oil change since they had already earned my trust. My vehicle was ready well before it was promised and for and extremely reasonable price.You should also try them for your car repair needs! You will be taken care of!

I took my husband car to Affordable. It was recommended by my sister and she wasn't wrong. They do excellent work and there customer service is great from the minute I took the car to them and when I picked up the car. Great job you all. Thank you Tracy and Jim for your help and expertise.

The first time we dealt with these guys we TOLD them the problem was a leaking head gasket. We were told after a few days of my car being at this shop, by Jim at the front desk, that it didn't need head gaskets,no leak was found, but it needed a catalytic converter, O2 sensor, and an air intake sensor. They only knew this because my check engine light told them. Which came out to over $1,000. I agree to the work, based on what I was told by you guys (NO LEAK FOUND). After the work was done, Jim calls back to say the car is ready but that they "noticed" a leak coming from the head gaskets! "That's what we originally brought it in for", we said! You quoted us over another $1,000 to fix our original request. After we hung up we came to pick up my car and talk to the owner Tracy Heal. I was upset but I did not become angry till your office manager Miss Jenica Mendoza SET that tone! By having the most Disrespectful, Unprofessional Customer Service, I've EVER dealt with!! So of course, I used cuss words, haven't you heard of the First Amendment? NO THREATS were ever made to your staff! Not surprised you would lie about that too. When the owner, finally came out to talk to my boyfriend he apologized for THEIR MISTAKES and offered not to charge us for the labor, for that day (which I still paid $904.99) and he gave us a discounted estimate on fixing the original problem for a future date. He assured us it was a little leak and we can drive it till we come up with $738.73 more dollars to fix their misdiagnosed. Well needless to say my car broke down on the highway, six weeks later. We towed my car back to you guys to honor your previous quote but surprise, surprise the price went up to $2,938 and we were told if the block separated during the labor we would still have to pay that amount. That's when I mentioned going to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) about this scam. Who by the way had 5 other complaints on them with similar stories. That's when you refuse to touch my car AGAIN. Please get your facts right so everyone can really see the details of the scam you pull. Do not tell people you can work on foreign cars when all you do is guess. By the way I got my whole engine replaced for half the price you were charging me to replace my gaskets! Your upset because you couldn't steal more of my money!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This business is quick to begin working on your vehicle. They began to diagnose my vehicle the morning after I dropped it off. They communicated with everyone in my family who was helping me pay and advising me with my vehicle. Thank you Jennica for the great customer service!

Have been going to affordable automotive for awhile now. Great service and the staff is very polite and courteous. Took my truck in feb 3rd and got it back today, and they even had to order my parts. Always a fair price and great work done on my truck. Excellent work and even better customer service. I took my car in having no clue what was wrong with it and I was quickly reassured they would run a full check on the car. The service was fast and very reliable. They walked me through everything that was wrong with the vehicle and gave me honest opinions on the work that could be done. The price for the work was fair and the cars never been running better!I Would recommend Affordable Automotive to anyone needing work on their vehicle!

I would recommend this place to anyone! Knowledge and Costumer Service is best that I've received from a mechanic shop. They do tests to make sure everything is going good and also to see if anything else is failing, plus they let you know every step of the way. I am more than happy they were able to bring my Mini Cooper (which is not easy to work on at all ) they brought it back to life. I almost don't trust on anyone else but these guys now. Favorite shop in El Paso for sure.

I have been with Affortable Automotive for years now and I have been very satisfied with their work on all of my vehicles. Prices are not always on the low part but then again, German cars are not cheap to work on either. Overall, Tracy and his AAS team are very knowledgeable and nice to work with.

I was recommended by a lot of friends to go here and they have a lot of good reviews in google . I needed something quick and affordable , since I work 9-5. They were super helpful and nice . My Honda needed some work!So when I went to pick my car, I was ready to pay, and I was told the my invoice was paid for !!!I want to thank Affordable Automotive Center for taking time out of the schedules to help their community , thanks to KFOX 14 and Michael GopinI highly recommend , excellent , affordable and very fast service .Thank you :)

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Adrian at the front desk took the time to explain all the issues with my vehicle and provided me with a very affordable price. I was very impressed with how professional everyone was.My car is running better than ever!! Highly recommended!!

Reason of two star isn't because of bad service but because they tried to tell me I needed a full ac kit replacement because it seized up. Their customer service was good and they were polite, but they tried to get me to pay over 700 dollars to repair what I told them was issue in first place: ac belt replacement which was 15-20 for belt and 30-40 for labor. Now I didn't get work done by them because the repair was half the value I paid for the car, but I do know it was far from "affordable Care" and being told something wrong after their diagnostic was just in my opinion a rip off... not recommendable from my solo experience

The entire staff is amazing. They always keep me posted on the status of my work and nothing is done without my express knowledge. I have used him for years and will continue to do so!! I have been bringing my 2005 F150 (140k miles) and my wife's 2006 Volvo here for a few years and remain impressed at their level of service. Tracy, the owner, has a no nonsense approach to business, there isn't a bunch of hidden items like you get nailed with at the dealership. Definitely recommend you give his shop a try, you won't be disappointed.

Dishonest business and owner. Preys on females that have no knowledge of cars. Replaced parts that didn't need replacing and told my wife that maybe that would fix the problem. Charged $1,800.00 and returned the car to us as fixed.2 days went by and the problem was back.Then they wanted $2,000.00 dollars for head gasket work. A blind man can tell that it was A setup for A second round of repairs. Nobody takes A car to be maybe repaired but thats their position. They knew it was the head gasket right from the start and led my wife down A expensive rabbit hole Read further on the bad reviews and don't let the good ones fool you. I have slept on the owners response and stand by my review. He shouid not disrespect veteran's like thatService: Engine repair

I took my 2002 altima there because it wouldn't start. They told me that they would charge $95 for the diagnostic (and apply it towards the repairs if I decided to fix it there). In the end it came down to 2 possible issues and they told me that the dealership would have to look into it because only they could pinpoint the problem. They didn't charge me one single dollar and told me that since they couldn't tell me exactly what was wrong with the car they would not be charging me anything. That's honesty right there! Definitely going back to them when my cars need service.

I had the part and just needed a simple installation. They wanted too much money for a one hour job. Shopping around I got better prices each time until finally having the job done for half the price as well as free additional minor fixes. This is not the place to go to if you are on a budget. I can t recommend this place.

My experience with Affordable Automotive was a complete nightmare. They overcharged us from the beginning but I figured it didn t matter as long as they fix my car which they but they didn t. I took it back to the shop 5 times and still they couldn t find what was wrong with it but that didn t stopped them from charging us $500 for absolutely nothing and each time we wen t back they would ask us to leave the vehicle (sometimes for a few days) and every time we picked it up they would tell us about what they did to it but after a few miles of driving the same overheating would happen. The last time we went there for the same issue they wanted to charge us another $500 so we cut our loses and left with the exact same problem, they literally didn t solve anything. I looked for the part my van needed online (they tried to charge me $250+tax for the part and I found it for $60) and searched a youtube tutorial on how to change it and what do you know, I fixed it in a few hours with no training whatsoever.In my opinion there are two scenarios, either they are extremely incompetent or they actually don t really care about their business or their customers.

Took my car in and Adrian & Tracy (the owner) took very good care of me and my vehicle. They are very fast, friendly, professional and affordable. Shop is very clean and I will not be taking my car anywhere else after this. GREAT experience!
