Beware of the scam! They quoted me one price then when it was time to pay it was more the double!!! Plus they added other stuff that I didn t agree to but still wanted to charge me. He didn t even do the labor which was the more expensive then parts. When I bought parts it was not even close to what he charged them. Owner didn t call me back or answer the phone!

After informing Advanced Auto of my car s issue it was immediately up on a lift and diagnosed, Advanced informed me what was necessary to complete the repair and finer car specifications were documented to ensure correct parts were ordered. work was completed and visually confirmed!- Michael

I came to El Paso for vacation and my car ended up breaking down the second I got here. We called late at night and Steve came personally to check out the car and did above and beyond for our family. Our entire electrical and fuse box was messed up and he got it done in three days. Stayed as late as 1 am to help us. He is an angel and I am forever grateful. Would recommend and great service. Truck was also broken and he fixed it without asking.

SKETCHY and OVERPRICED with a touch of Manipulation Tactics!!!! I dropped my car off at Advanced Auto a few weeks ago for a major tune-up, I knew I needed spark plugs and everything that goes with it. I was having an issue that scared me because I had just purchased my vehicle 2 weeks prior and was praying that it was something simple! Steve met me outside and drove me to work in my car so he could get a feel for the car. He seemed extremely caring and competent. I believed he had my best interest at heart. We agreed that the $150 diagnostic would be half priced as long as I got my car fixed at Advanced Auto. I received a text from him an hour and a half later stating that I needed a Major Tune-up and new ignition coils. He sent me a picture of a screen that said that all 6 ignition coils were misfiring! I asked him how much and he said $750 for parts, $400 for chemicals and $495 for labor. I called him on my first break and told him I couldn't afford that and he said he could get me cheaper parts, for $495 plus $495 labor. He said he was doing me a big favor because he cares! I told him I only had $500 which was the truth and he said that I can't drive my car like that, it's too dangerous and I could really damage the engine! I'm panicking at this point, I pleaded with him to help me. He said that's the lowest he can go, period. I needed to get my car on my lunch break because nobody would be there when I got off at 7. He picked me up and we had to go back to the shop so I could pay for the $150 diagnostic. I asked him for a print out of the diagnostic and he said that that's not possible, the picture he sent me was my diagnostic! I didn't have time to get a clear explanation as to why. I ended up buying the ignition coils and plugs for $295 OEM. Then I got them installed for $60 and guess what? The car still had the issue I took it in for!!! It ended up being a transmission filter, which costs $37 OEM!!! So the diagnostic Steve ran on my car either failed to detect the real issue or he LIED and sent me a diagnostic from some other vehicle! Either way, SKETCHY AF!!!! You be the judge! The overpricing though???? I know people need to make money, but COME ON!!!! The parts I got were more expensive than some, meaning he could have gotten for less and mechanics get a discount on parts!

Dishonest thief. DO NOT GO.I went for a diagnostic test and service, and he quoted almost $1000 and wasn t even able to explain what was happening. Provided no images and said they couldn t do an electronic test. When I went to get my car back he shuffled to write down total engine flush, spark plugs, oil change. It was lighting $125 on fire.The next shop told me immediately I had a simple coolant leak.DO NOT GO. Not trustworthy at all.

Worst service ever. Steven tried to take advantage of the situation. After comparing his estimate with 2 other places, realized he was charging double than the other 2, plus adding an apparent extra problem with the car that didn t have. Then he didn t want to released the car unless we paid $150 for the diagnosis. He is definitely not an honest person. Be careful

Bought my car in to have the engine replaced. The work was done in a quick and timely manner and the price was terrific. I would definitely recommend coming here to have your car worked on.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!I am going to file a lawsuit against Steven and I have witnesses along with physical evidence. We called this place because we had an electrical issue with our fuel pump. He overcharged us to diagnose it and charged me 1000 for everything but then he called and said our pistons were bad and we needed to replace the engine so it would be 1200 more we decided to take our car to another mechanic and it turns out he didn t change the fuel pump that he charged us for but he did break the fuel pump assembly and didn t connect a coil so the car wasn t going to work and he could tell us it was the engine we ended up paying $500 to repair the damage he did to our car and now it s running perfect there was never an engine problem. This guy is a thief and I m taking him to court to get my money back plus the money I had to spend to repair the damage he caused to my fuel pump assembly. My mechanic and the towing service I used have agreed to be witnesses and I have the broken fuel pump assembly along with a picture of the coil that wasn t put on right. Towing company said they always pick up cars from there because he tries to do this to a lot of people.See you in court Steven

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!If I could do 0 stars I Would. This guy is a lying thief who takes advantage of people. He overprices everyone and says he s giving you a discount. He does things to ur cars to charge you more when he finds an unrelated problem. Worst reputation built on an auto service place. Upon calling roadside assistance they said he does shady business and everyone they have helped coming out of this place has the same issues of being overpriced and lied to by the Russian guy. Save yourself the money ur car will come out worse and with more issues than it went in with!

Steven and Jesus repaired our vehicle in one day, working 3 hours past closing, on a Saturday. First quote was high and he was able to find us a better deal. Extensive damage but got us back on the road. Thanks!

Stephen and his crew took great care of us and our vehicle. It drives better than since we got the car. My gas mileage went from 24 mpg to 36 mpg. Very fair, great price and the work is solid and professional. Highly recommend for ANY service you need.

!!!!!DO NOT TRUST THIS MECHANIC!!!!( Context) I wake up and my car won t start.Simple, it s either the battery or the alternator.I have my car towed to to Advanceed Auto Service and I tell the owner. It s either the alternator or the battery. Instead the owner INSISTS on running a diagnostics and charged $350. No work was done on my vehicle and because I didn t want to proceed with the work. He charges me $500.NO WORK.This man is a cheat, dishonorable, greedy and untrustworthy. His tactics are to squeeze as much money from you as possible. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!

Great experience from these guys! I m not usually one to leave a review unless I REALLY think a place deserves it because I don t really care for it but this place definitely deserves the 5 stars. Brought in my truck for a handful of different reasons, I was expecting to have to put down a pretty penny to get it back in shape to be completely honest, but it was actually quite the opposite! The people there where very friendly and explained to me step by step what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. I was given an initial price, but after some conversation they where able to get it down for me! The literal next day my car was fixed and ready to take on the road and I haven t had a problem since! I ve come to these guys about 2 or 3 times since then with my other cars and I ve always received wonderful service! Definitely would recommend checking them out if there s ever something wrong with your vehicle

Manager is Rude ,a liar and a thief!!!!! Don t fall for the fake reviews !!! The owner has hired people to write fake reviews!! This guy didn t fix my car and still charged me to get it fixed !!! He keeps my car for months and charges me for something he didn t fix. I went to pick up my car and yelled at me to get the F out of his shop.

Late is better than never. A big shout out to Steve and of course his mechanic Jesus. We travel for our work so it s important to be on the road and our truck had a major issue with the torque converter. Very thankful for getting us in the next morning since we called near closing time. They got right to work on it, finishing it that evening before closing.

I took my 2004 GMC to Stephen at Advance Auto.It was leaking oil and after spending a month with another mechanic at D.N.M Automotive (do not recommend) they were not able to find and fix the issue.Stephen was able to identify and fix the issue within 2 days.I waited a couple of days to write this review to verify that issue was resolved.And after a weekend of riding some trails and camping I am glad to say that issue has been resolved.I would strongly recommend Advance Auto they were professional and communicated every step of the way.I was paranoid at first due to previous reviews on Advance Auto and after getting played by previous mechanic,but I had an absolute perfect service at Advance Auto I strongly recommend.-Hector

Great service. My car had broken down on me going out of town, I was super stressed but Steve helped me out in every way possible. Have a good price and my car has been working like new. I was told it would take days from other mechanics and he had it done the next day and it was a complex job. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs work done on their cars. Thank you Steve for all you did!

A little late in posting this but I can t say enough good things about Steve and his shop. My husband s air conditioner wasn t working properly and we needed to get it fixed before we went on vacation. We took the car in the day before Fourth of July and he had it ready for us in no time! We went on vacation the next week, and we were kept nice and cool in the San Antonio heat. He worked with us on the price, and helped us save where he could. If we had gone anywhere else, I know it would have cost more. To sum it up, we found our mechanic for life!Service: Air conditioning

I was on my way from Texas to Arizona when my check engine light went on near El Paso. I had a scan completed at Autozone and it showed dead ignition coils. I found Advanced Auto Service on google, they confirmed the issue, fixed the existing issue as well as another I didn't know I had and I was back on the road within 3 hours (I showed up a little after 1PM). Very good, quick service from their team.

My truck was a disaster when I brought it in.The man in charge showed me everything that was broken and damaged (multiple things due to hitting a very bad bump at more than 40 mph). He told me the price of each repair and part. He gave me several discounts since it needed so much work.They even offered to tow it in for me for free.This is definitely the place for people who need someone who actually FEELS and IS trustworthy who will do your work at a way better price than you'll get anywhere else because he actually works with you when you're in a bad spot.I have this place bookmarked in my phone and if I ever need more work done, I'm definitely coming back.
