I have been taking my vehicles to AV Auto for almost 2 years now. Alex the owner is honest, transparent, and operates a quality repair shop. He communicates consistently through the time of service. He will repair things the correct way and make recommendations for other repairs he sees needing to be complete. I have complete faith in him and his shop and will not hesitate to continue to use him for work on my vehicles. When anyone asks me for a mechanic, I always give them Alex s information.

The owner is awesome. You can tell a lot about a place by the employees and they were happy and attentive. Alex (the owner) cares about his employees and customers. The communication was excellent. He took the time to explain all the steps he would use to diagnose the problem. When the car was done, I received a text message. The repair was complete and done in an excellent manner. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend AV Automative for your repair work.

Best local mechanics in town helped us get back on the road asap had a Ford Explorer with an internal water pump go out. They got it fixed in four days. The dealership needed two weeks just to start on the vehicle. Highly recommend mechanic shop.

Took my car in for a break job and Alex and his crew did a great job. This is the 3rd time I take one of my vehicles and never had any problems. I would definitely recommend. They do great work and prices are fair.

I will always highly recommend A V Automotive. They have taken care of me for a little over a year now and have kept my car from breaking down on me. I took my F250 in to troubleshoot an issue that had been ongoing for a few years. Shamaley Ford checked it 3 separate times and they couldn't figure it out. Viva Ford checked it and also didn't get it. Frustrated and almost giving up.... A friend recommended AV Auto. Alex and his team fixed the issue within half a day! Plus, was VERY humble and reasonable with the price. I highly recommend Av Auto. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Took my truck in for a a/c issue initially called and asked Alex how much for a diagnosis stated 45$ over the phone once the issue was found was a a/c discharge hose was quoted 500 and some change to fix it which is a outrageous price for two bolts and a recharge. Also when I was going to just pay for the diagnosis only the price was 95$ not honest I am very mechanically inclined so I know that this job is not hard at all they lied about pricing and are scamming will not be returning

About 2 months ago. Took my silverado for an overheating problem. They communicated exceptionally, and they concluded it was the radiator. Got it replaced, fixed the problem, no issues there. The problem was when I popped my hood, they forgot to reattach the support and secure bolts. Causing the radiator and fans to basically flap around the engine bay.

I have been coming to AV auto for 9 years, my entire family uses AV auto and will continue to use them for any repairs. Alex is a great man who stands behind his work and most importantly he is honest and reliable. No matter what the issue any of my vehicles has this man has found a way to fix it.If you are tired of snakes and thieves , do not hesitate to take your vehicle to AV automotive. The work is reliable , the price great and most of all you can trust them to resolve your problem in a timely manner. Looking for an honest and family Mechanic... STOP LOOKING THIS IS YOUR PLACE!Very great place and reasonable price. Alex is a great Mechanic and runs a great shop. I am pleased he took the time and helped my family and I stay safe as he made sure our Honda odyssey was up to par. He recommend me to get new tires instead of used ones, as I was going to travel to TN. Its little things like this that adds up. I have my Toyota Tundra getting looked at now... I am blessed to have found this honest transparent meachanic shop...Thank you all again..God bless,The Garcia family...

A V Automotive is the most reliable Repair Shop I have experienced. Alex, Chuy and the rest are wonderful mechanics. They are professional, personable and punctual. I wouldn t hesitate to take my vehicle there. I m grateful to have such a great team working on my cars. Thanks guys!

Very professional folks. Diagnosis was absolutely correct, and repairs were priced fairly. The work was done quickly and neatly. I'm taking my car back for some maintenance next week. I would definitely recommend AV Automotive.

Some of the best mechanics in town. Repairs and maintenance done in a timely manner. The only place ill ever go and spend money. I have taken three of my vehicles all different makes and models and they have done a great job on each one. I have never had to take a vehicle back to them for warranty issues on work they performed. Best mechanic I ve been to. We stopped by the shop on a trip from Tennessee to Nevada and had to get our oil changed and tires rotated. Alex was honest, professional, and incredibly nice. The work was done in a timely fashion and the prices were very fair.

Mark installed my camber bolts backward ruined 4 $300 tires on a road trip, AND installed front wheel bearings so LOOSE, after a brake job, the wheel almost came off. Total POS.

Amazing shop and service was great working with mark. Was very wary on finding a shop to work on our vehicle after having another shop botch the job. But i went in spoke to them and got great vibes, they seemed very knowledgeable/experienced and were able to give me warnings too of thing that can pop up wrong during the job and cause extra expense. They also called updated me along the way and asked if we wanted to change some parts as preventative since they were already at them which was nice and wasnt much more cost. They were able to get it done fast too which was great it being our only vehicle. Happy to of found a shop i trust returning too.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

There is no better car mechanic shop in El Paso. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this shop. They are honest people that do an above average level repairs at a fair price and at a speedy time. I used to always get a fair price and quality work done here. My final price has never been more than my initial quote (no surprises), but as of late something has changed. When I brought my car in for additional diagnosis because the initial fix that I already paid for was not indeed the fix needed, they kept my car for 4 days without ever calling me with a status. I understand that at times the technical portion of an issue can be a process, BUT, it was obvious my car was not a priority since it was warranty work. Every time I drove by my car was parked in the same spot. They NEVER called me with an update even after specifically asking them :please at the LEAST call me with an update". All I get from the mechanic is "that is what the boss said to do". I will not be back solely on their lacking customer service skills.After a fix that required my dashboard to be removed, upon pick up the dash board vibrates really bad now, and the radio was upside down. While this seemed funny to them, it caused concern for their lack of attention to detail on my car for me. If the small things are so poorly done, what is going on with the actual fixes? No trust in their work anymore.

I was blessed to have AV Automotive recommend to me by an Auto Zone Associate who brings his car here.AV took my vehicle the same day. Quickly fixed my issue charged me a fair price and returned my car faster than I DESERVED. I was so impressed that I took business cards to share with my coworkers.Service: Brakes

I am writing this review after a few visits to AV Automotive. Firstly, Alex and his team are skilled, professional, courteous and have taken great care of my vehicle at a fair price. If there was one thing I could call them out on, it would be communication, sometimes I wish they would update me a little more often, but I feel it's just because it's a small business and they have so many loyal customers. Despite this, I would still highly recommend them to a friend, coworker or family member and I will continue to take my vehicle there when it needs service.

This place USED to be a great auto repair shop. It was one of the best when Alex was always there running the shop, which now he's hardly there and sadly relies on some guy named mark to run it. Stickly my personal opinion, mark is a snake. A $100 job somehow turns into a $400 to $700 with issues my vehicle never had before. I'm convinced he gets commission. Have been there 4 times and never spent anything less than $400 and ALWAYS ended up with "new" mechanical issues. If that wasn't bad enough, it takes them WEEKS to a month+ to finish. People who recommended this place NO longer recommend it; go figure.

Charged $500 vehicle problems not solved. Returned and problem was not fixed nor given refund. Went to another mechanic shop and found out AV Automotive just pinched a hose to stop a leak and kept an original part that was removed but didn't fix the problem that was not caused by original part.

I needed my a/c fixed on my car right away so I called AV Automotive and they were able to get me in right away. We had already bought the part but they were able to diagnose and fix the problem without even having to change the part which saved us a lot of money instead of those other places that take advantage of you and it was also done within a couple hours. Excellent customer service, very friendly, and willing to work with us to help solve and fix the problem. We will definitely be going back if anything needs done to our cars.

Phenomenal service, took our car here a couple months ago after first taking it to a different place on Montana ( Pronto ) and explained to them that we were hoping to get it back fast because the other place had it for a week and did absolutely nothing to it; they had it fixed less than 4 hours later. Took our car again for a different issue yesterday, they finished repairing it today for (what I consider to be) a very low price.

I take my company vehicle and my family vehicle here. After trying many different mechanics I have found AV Automotive has been the most trustworthy and most reliable. Alex is the most honest mechanic we have ever known. All the work he has done for us on different vehicles has always been done right and most importantly reasonably priced. We highly recommend this shop to others!!
