I've used them several times with good results. Our last install had severe complications. They did offer to warranty their work, I never returned and now go to another shop with better quality control for my work.

Was on tour in Texas towing a Jeep and the shifter cable popped, making it unable to get into gear. Laid over in Van Horn for a wind storm and found this 45 year old privately owned set of experts in everything 4 Wheel Drive! They got us in the next day, we parked on the street, dropped the toad and they pushed it into the shop. They were done at the end of the day and we kept on rolling. Very fair price. More importantly, their shop is staffed with GREAT mechanics!!If I were local, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!!!

This place actually never has what I come in for, but it's totally OK because they are very knowledgeable and happy to help me with my jeep build in any way they can.

I aligned my car here and paid around 350 dlls for alignment ( arms were included ). Unfortunately I did not get to drive it much for the first days. They have a policy that the alignment is only covered for 7 days. The car started pulling to the left after 2 weeks.I also noticed that the arms they adjusted the locking bolt was not tight at all which made me wonder if they truly did the alignment. I would pay extra somewhere else and get the job done right.

I Highly recommend this place. Jimmy assisted me in gathering a quote for several items on my Toyota. He took time to search all the pieces I was looking for. He even searched YouTube to show me the sound of the exhaust and visuals of the parts. He was very professional and diligent in getting me a quote. He explained the prices very clearly and the time to get it done.I was very impressed with his level of customer service and professionalism.

4 wheel center is an excellent business and I will be back again. I went in for the first time not knowing what I would find and I was surprised by the great selection, but most importantly the great customer service that they offer. Jimmy and Sonya both were very helpful. They were very helpful in assisting me in picking out some new seats for my old Jeep. My new seats arrived in record time and I'm very satisfied. I will be back to do more business with them

I don't visit this site very often, a couple of times to purchase and install on truck, today I came in to inquire cost for a leveling kit for my wife's new (used) 4runner. Will get done in a couple of weeks. I've always received good costumer service and have no complaints about the installs they've done for me.

15 years ago, I patronized this business and purchased a differential for my 1995 Tahoe. It was an aftermarket part and the clerk wasn't 100% sure the part would fit my vehicle and assured me I could exchange it. I guess back then it wasn't as easy as typing in a VIN number to make sure the correct parts were being sold. I had the part installed by my mechanic and of course the part didn't fit properly. It was the wrong part and when I went back to the store to exchange it, they told me that it couldn't be exchanged because it was a special order. So not only was I supposed to know what part to order (isn't that their job?), but they have no word or ethics.

Hands down best experience I've had anywhere I've taken my truck. James provided exceptional customer service. Made sure all the parts I wanted fit my truck and to top it off, they installed everything in one day!!! 6 inch Rough Country Suspension lift, 20x9 Rockstar 2 rims and 35 inch Cooper Mud Terrains. Very impressed with their service. Left 4 Wheel Center feeling like family and I will definitely be back for everything else I plan to add to my 2012 F150.

I called to get a quote for this business to install a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks and some upper control arms (I already have the parts, just not the time to do it myself). First the man on the phone seemed bothered to take my call and almost combative. He asked for what type of truck and I told him 2019 Ram 1500 4x4. He put me on hold by setting the phone down and then came back with $700 + tax. That's some high labor rates they got there. This is a 2 maybe 3 hour job. The man never mentioned if this included the alignment but at that rate it wouldn't have mattered. If the man thought I was looking for a set of shocks and upper control arms and the $700 included the parts that's on him because I told him I already had the parts. He was just too bothered by my call to earn my business. I guess they are doing great during the pandemic and don't need any additional sales.

I wouldn't recommend going to this place at all. Too start off my husband and I have spent a couple thousand dollars here on our jeep. They installed the gears wrong and within a couple months we had to replaced them but they told us it was our fault. We have talked to multiple mechanics and they all told us that it sounds like installed the gears wrong. So we ended up having to pay another grand to get it fix. And when we had this done my husband talked to their manager Sonya because we wouldn't have the money until our checked cleared and she said that wouldn't be a problem because we are a repeat customer and that they would just hold on of our credit cards on file. Well when we went to go pick up the Jeep we were told that we had to pay the full amount right then and there and no one could get ahold of the manager at this time. We also paid extra money to have the parts shipped over night because we needed the vehicle by the weekend. So the next day he went back in and tried explaining the situation to them again and they told us that their manager never said that they would hold our cards. If they would've told us this from the beginning we would've waited until the check was cleared to get it fixed and since it was a holiday weekend all the banks were closed. This wasn't our only problem with them, about our week ago the compressor that they installed went out and now we are looking at having to get this replaced as well. They installed in underneath the jeep where water, mud and sand can get to it. We have talked to a couple other shops and they have told us that they would never install it there because you run into the risk of something getting into the compressor and it breaking, which is exactly what happened. Just from the few situations I've had at this shop it seems like they don't have any of their parts installed properly so you are constantly in there having the same parts replaced.

Unfortunately customer service is hit or miss every time I go in there. I often get the sense that I am bothering them with my questions and don't get much feed back. Other times they are great. I would most definitely use them more if I felt welcome there. I am ready to drop some big money for my vehicle but I am looking at other options for purchase and installation just because of the customer service variance.

Had a tow hitch installed on my Jeep for towing behind our RV. Very helpful staff (Jimmy) took the time to walk us through the process of connecting the tow hitch and preparing the Jeep to be towed. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

I purchased a lift kit from a very large reputable manufacturer of these items. The kit is specifically designed for my vehicle make and model. When I contacted 4Wheel Center about installing these items they stated that they had the experience with this type of work and it would be no issue. I was told there is a 30 day warranty on the installation. After a week (after the install by 4wheel center) of driving the vehicle I noticed a loud clunking noise from the front. Upon inspection I found that some of the hardware had come loose and some parts were missing from the vehicle sway bar system. I immediately drove the vehicle to the shop to have their mechanics inspect the vehicle. After two hours of waiting I was told that they were not responsible and it was because the kit didn't have a "locking washer" for the component (this component does not require a locking washer). Then I was told I would have the purchase the replacement part at a price of $47.00. I asked where the part was coming from and I was told from the local dealer of the vehicle. I chose not to purchase the part there and went to the dealer myself. I was quoted a price of $31.00. I also had a technician at the dealer look at the OEM component that was re-installed by 4Wheel Center. The 4Wheel Center techs installed the brackets backwards and did not torque the bolts correctly. This directly led to the bolts coming loose and because the bracket was installed backwards it completely fell off the vehicle. It is absolutely unacceptable to send someone out the door with this level of work. And then to deny warranty coverage of the items that need to be replaced because of the incorrect installation by 4Wheel Center s technicians. Also adding a $16.00 increase to the price of the items sold by the dealer is dishonest business.

Been buying from here for over a year now- Stationed at Ft Bliss. I can get the best deals With James (manager) than I can get anywhere else. Returns went easy- busted shocks a few times and they switched them out the same day. Cant say much else about the rest the shop as I only do buisness with James and refer all my Jeep guys to him also. So go Talk to James and see what he can do for you.

I was referred to this place by Dick Poe Jeep who stated they couldn't do an alignment on my Jeep because it has a 2.5" Rock Krawler Lift. The guy at the front counter was really nice and talked a little smack about the Jeep dealership because they can't handle a simple alignment. He stated we align all sorts of vehicles we even do up to 8" lifts and have never had a problem. They keep the Jeep for three hours while I go have lunch. I come back after lunch and the guy said he drove it and if feels fine. I asked if he aligned it. He did not. I explained the caster was off and to fix it he had to shorten the adjustable control arms. He stated it was outside of his ability. He was unable to loosen four bolts to adjust the arms in order to set the caster. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY TALK A GOOD GAME AND HAVE FLASHY TRUCKS OUT FRONT BUT THEY ARE NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS.

I recently got into an accident and had to get my rear bumper replaced for my 2008 4wd Jeep Wrangler. When I entered the store I let one of the sales rep know that I was on a tight budget and was looking for a smitty bilt rear bumper for under 200. The sales rep then got his manager and told him what my budget was. The manager laughed and told me that a bumper that cheap doesn't exist... I left immediatly and ordered one online from extreme terrain for 189.00 and i received it in less than a week :). This store is overpriced overrated and the customer service sucks. Please don't waste your time here I gave it a chance after hearing horrible reviews from friends, and I'll never make the same mistake again.

I called these guys for pricing two weeks ago and I got a fair price at that time so my suspension arrived two days ago and just called again to double check just to make sure before I take my truck and they gave almost double the price from two weeks ago. So I call another shop by Alameda and they charge me one third of the price. So there you go.

Great place and service!Took my F250 in after heard loud crashing noise when I was speeding up one night. I was certain the turbo was gone. When I called they explained that it may not be the turbo since I could still hear a whistling sound as I would rev up. They suggested that I look at the CAC tubes. They were right. As I sped up the pressure pushed one of the CAC tubes from the intercooler.I bought a new clamp from the dealer and all was great. They could have taken advantage of the situation and made money off of me. This place was more honest than any other I have been to and I really appreciate that from them. In fact, I had taken my truck in in the past for a diesel leak. In the process they broke the feed nipple on the top of the radiator. Without hesitation, they took responsibility and replaced the radiator.Businesses like this do not exist anymore and this is why appreciate them even more.

if I could give zero stars i would I Went there to get a light bar installed and it was done totally unprofessional the wires were just flapping on the side of my windshield. I could have done the same thing but I wanted it done professionally so it would look good However when I went back to address how in happy I was I was told " That's how they install them " and that there is nothing else they can do and was called a lier but the supervisor twice during this experience!! He told me "That they didn't make curved light bars for the Toyota tundra " and that there was no weather strip on my windshield!!! its a 2014 Toyota tundra come on really!!! He also scratched the ho0od of my truck as well when they installed the brackets and the rear tail gate don't know how that happened?? and when I called him out on this he copped an attitude with me and then proceeded to tell me "He was just like me" and that since "I'm upset I should go get my AK and shoot stuff up " Who says this???? I am going to sue this business for the money I was charged to do this install which anyone could have done better and I am going to write the owner and ask what kind of business is he running for if this is how he does business then I am going to have this establishment put on the military " Off limits list" so nobody else in the military can be treated this way !!!!

These guys were professional and very helpful. Everything in the store and service area is in good order. Everyone I talked to was efficient and took care of what I needed while I waited. Not sure why people in the past gave bad reviews. I had an overall good experience with the shop and would return if needed.

If I could put zero stars I would. To start off I had my gears and lockers done here in March 2017. By the end of may 2017 my gears were shot, the teeth were shreddered off and 4 wheel center told me it was due to shock impact. I had them replace again by them. About a week ago my gears went out again and this time I took it to a different shop when they opened up my differential they found that the gears were installed incorrectly. I went back to 4 wheel center with this information and the gears and Tim told me that the gears looked like they are installed correctly and that they broke due to our fault but he told us to contact Nitro. So my wife called Nitro and we told them the situation and had them inspect the gears and were told that they were installed incorrectly both time. We have pictures from the first time they went out. My wife called 4 wheel center and tried to talked to sonia but she wasn't there so she left her a message. We haven't heard back from them. All we want is out money back for both sets of the gears. On top of all this since they installed the front gears wrong we have to get the front lockers replaced because metal shaving went into the locker from the gears. I want my money back for the front lockers as well. Im paying to have it fixed by another shop but this is ridiculous. 4 wheel center doesn't do their work properly and blames their customers when it's actually their fault.

Took my truck in for an add a leaf and alignment.Mechanic lost two of my lugnuts and replaced them with completely different ones and didn t tell me. Then I went on a gravel road and hit a bump the alignment knocked way out of place and cambered a wheel. They refused to fix it even though their mechanic didn t do his job right.

I have had both good and bad experiences here... but I bought Rancho RS-9000 shocks here two years ago and have had to replace the front right twice. The shock failed again within 2 weeks the last time, along with the front left so I went back. I understand the Rancho warranty but I expected them to contact Rancho and let them know they had a defective product. Instead the owner copped an attitude and refused to check out my vehicle until I removed the shocks (how would I get around then?) and produced my original invoice. Since I had gone through this replacement twice before AND had produced the invoice to me this was a slap in the face. Neither time on my previous claims had I had to remove the shock... they checked it, made the claim and then replaced it when it arrived. My concern is that within the past two years Rancho and Tenneco have had production issues and are producing an inferior product. I felt contact from the 4 Wheel Center, especially considering that the strut in my previous shock had separated from the housing would help me to get satisfaction instead of constantly having to return and pay for shipping and installation but it appears that the owner there doesn't care about the customers.
