I had a truly pleasant experience at this dealership. From the first inquiry online all the way through drive out of the f250 I purchased. Donald was honest and transparent during the deal with absolutely no pressure. The final numbers were the same as discussed via email. No hidden fees or "dealer add-ons." Burke in finance was just a pleasant and transparent. Made me aware of available options with again absolutely no pressure during the signing process. The entire purchase process at the dealer was right under an hour from arrival, the test drive and finance. No waiting for hours on end like so many other dealerships do. I'll definitely make the 2+ hour drive again in the future to do business with this establishment.

This purchase is my family's second vehicle from VonDerAu, with the first being before Covid. I personally started working with this dealership and Mr. Donald Mauch in sales from Day 1 of the Bronco reservation process back in July of 2020. I converted my reservation to an order in November 2021, and received my '22 Bronco in August 2022.Donald was informative and available for questions throughout the entire process and regularly checked in and kept me up to date. Donald also invited me for a test drive as soon as a dealer example was available, which helped me make decisions before placing my own order. Most importantly, he and the GM Mr. John VonDerAu kept their word on our agreed-upon price at the time of ordering, did not add any surprise fees or services, and overall provided a stress-free-as-possible dealership experience. Donald even made sure a small problem was promptly corrected when an option I ordered was not yet sent from Ford at the time of delivery.Mr. Burke Wilkins in finance was also great to deal with - easy signing process, warranty purchase, and again, no surprise numbers on the sales sheet. I was also able to trade in my previous vehicle for a fair price.Also, the receptionist was always very nice and quick to help me during various calls I made -- I don't know her name, but thank you.I was impressed by the entire experience and all members of the VonDerAu team. I am very pleased with how my Bronco ordering and buying process went. Their quality of service and honesty deserve recognition.

Awesome experience!Wesley and Tommy were both very helpful. Handled most everything via email and text, when we got there on Saturday to pickup the car everything was ready, we were in and out in less than 30 mins. I've bought many cars in my life and never one in 30 mins. Thanks we will buy from them again.

My car has been in their hands for over a month! Still haven t been able to diagnostic the issue. Even after telling them my dashboard lights came on after brake issues. If their mechanics are not qualified to diagnose my vehicle they should have told me that hat first few weeks. Not ONCE have they reached out to me. I m the one calling!

VonDerAu Ford in El Campo is very customer oriented. The sales staff particularly at the used lot (also sell new vehicles there) is honest straightforward and fair. They make buying a vehicle gun and easy, satisfaction absolutely guaranteed. The service department is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They go out of their way to promptly fix any problems and do it with a fantastic friendly attitude. I highly recommend this dealership!

I cannot adequately say how much I appreciate this dealership! They make it so easy to purchase and trade a vehicle. The whole process took less than 45 minutes out of my day, from test drive to signing on the dotted line. I absolutely loved my Bronco Sport, but when I decided it didn't fit my lifestyle needs, they made me an insanely fair trade to move into my F-150. It truly pays to shop local and form a relationship with your dealership!

Always a great experience at VonDerAu. I have been searching for a car for awhile, and the salesmen there have been on the lookout for something that would suit my needs. When something finally came about, I got a phone call right away! The buying process was incredibly easy and I was able to pick up my new car with no hassle at all.

We just purchased a 2022 ford F350 from VonDerAu Ford and once again it was a very positive experience from start to finish. I contacted Wesley Smolik about a truck back in July when there were very few trucks availible anywhere. I picked the options I wanted, and he got back to me very quickly with pricing and ideas on possible delivery. We corresponded a few times by phone and email as delivery was determined.Picking up the truck was the same as ordering, smooth, seamless and painless. No unnecessary BS, out of there in less than an hour. I like being treated like a human being, not a number, and that is the kind of treatment you get at VonDerAu Ford. Being from out of the El Campo area, the initial truck I bought from them was in 1995 and they treated me the same way then, as a valued customer, same consistent treatment then as today.

In July 2022 we thought we found the perfect deal when we purchased a preowned 2019 F250 4WD with only 13k miles from this dealership. Within a few weeks while traveling on I-45 where the concrete isn t level, the truck went into the Ford SuperDuty Death Wobble . Later we discovered multiple lawsuits regarding this known and very dangerous steering/suspension flaw affecting 3/4 and 1 ton Ford trucks. It s difficult to describe how terrifying it was to be traveling at 70 mph with the truck shaking so violently that it felt I had no control over where the truck would bounce next or if I d be able to hold onto the steering wheel until it stopped. It was nothing short of a miracle that our family made it to the shoulder without being hit or run over. The dealership initially said they would repair it or refund our cash purchase. Their lead mechanic said this was a common problem and Ford had recently started using another manufacturer for the replacement steering stabilizer (I took that to mean problems with the former replacement part) and the dealership had ordered 3 steering stabilizers. We wanted to research and talk to some trusted mechanics before making a decision whether to have VonDerAu repair the truck or get our money back. We opted for the repair and let VonDerAu know. I incorrectly assumed that as soon as VonDerAu knew there was a dangerous issue with this truck they would order the steering stabilizer regardless of whether we kept it or they sold it to someone else but i was wrong. VonDerAu did not order the part until late August after we told them we would keep the truck. We waited patiently for a month for the part(s) to arrive without any updates from VonDerAu let alone an apology for the ordeal. My emails and calls requesting an update largely went unanswered. When Burke finally answered he said he didn t know when the part would be in and they could pick up the truck and issue a refund. The reviews for this dealership were so positive and I was very disappointed that they didn t do the right thing and order the part as soon as they knew the truck had a potentially deadly safety issue. Our purpose in sharing is to make buyers aware of the Ford Death Wobble/Ford Death Rattle issue and to let potential VonDerAu customers know this dealership may say they care about their customers but their actions certainly don t support that.

Easy buying process done most by phone and dealership dropped $700 off the price when i showed up for a test drive and vehicle already clean full of gas an all I had to do is sign paperwork . No pressure to buy extra items but I did ask for Gap coverage on the vehicle. Finance was a breeze and everyone at dealership made eye contact with a smile. I couldn't ask for a better buying experience.

The staff at VonDerAu Ford was extremely satisfying to work with. I made a call to them in search of a specific vehicle that had certain features. The General Manager (John) answered the phone and immediately took note of my wishes and said someone would be in contact soon. Within hours I had a call back from Wesley. We talked through my needs and he assessed availability of certain vehicles. He was very forthright and kept me informed over the next several days and identified the vehicle that met my needs. We discussed pricing and reached mutual agreement. At the dealership to pick up the vehicle, after the easy and efficient purchase process, Wesley spent time to show me the unique features of the vehicle and ensured all was suitable and the vehicle was ready to be delivered. Wesley made a follow up call to me about 5 days later to answer any questions I may have regarding features, technology in the vehicle or performance of the drive. I really appreciated his follow up. Went in for a oil leak covered by warranty but due to the previous owner doing a ccv delete they didn t want to perform the warranty work or the recalls that my 2018 f250 6.7 has which are all safety related . On top of that they are still charging me 100$ to tell me they can t do the job because of the ccv delete . Seriously only takes 1 min to be able to tell if that s done . But hey thanks for not doing the recalls

After identifying the car we wanted to purchase and sending that information to multiple Ford dealers, we purchased our new car from VonDerAu Ford. From our initial inquiry - by phone and email - VonDerAu was by far the most responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous of those dealerships. And they were ALL very good, it is just that John and Donald at VonDerAu were the BEST. They worked with us to locate the car we had speced and were patient and honest in answering our questions. We are very happy with the car and look forward to continuing our relationship with VonDerAu for service and future car purchases. In our 50 plus years of buying cars, this has been the most pleasant and satisfying experience we have ever had. Without hesitation, we would recommend VonDerAu Ford to family and friends!

Had a battery warning indicator light issue / problem and VonDerAu Ford squeezed me on Dec 26th and found and fixed the problem that day!!Major "Kudos" to the whole service team!! Highly recommend them!

We just bought our second vehicle this year from VonDerAu Ford, The service was excellent, i am still waiting for the owners manual and spare key for the last vehicle but am quite pleased with the price, delivery and treatment we received. The only glitch is when my wife went in to see the person she needed to see about the spare key they were not there at that time, she did ask that they call her to schedule a time but so far that has not happened. Wesley Smolik is very courteous and helpful and I enjoyed his assistance.

They had a Jeep I wanted advertised online. I used their online feature and we quickly agreed in principle on a price before I drove in from Houston. I was very skeptical, as the last couple of times I purchased a car from other dealerships, they tried to tack on erroneous equipment and fees. VanDerAu Ford was the complete opposite. They were down to earth with no sales pressure or underhanded tricks. Donald had the car I wanted ready to test drive when I arrived, it was as it appeared online, and we agreed upon a fair deal. My wife and I waited about 15 minutes while Burke put together the paperwork, and 10 minutes later we walked out with the key in hand. It was literally the best experience I have ever had buying a car, and I've purchased a lot of cars. This is what buying a car should be like. The next time I want a car, I will literally call them, tell them what I want and wait for them to find it. I will happily drive to El Campo to do business like this. The owners and management are doing business the right way. Thank you.

I had a great experience buying a new 2020 Edge Titanium from Wesley. I traded in my Fusion that I had for 5 years and never had a problem with it. I chose VonDerAu because of their local service department, loyalty cash and the value they gave me on my trade. All of the new safety features on the Edge also made our car insurance payment less. John, Wesley and Burke know how to do business.

This dealership is the best by far!! I found a car online, submitted my information, and by the next afternoon I drove it home! My salesman Mr. Donald Mauch and the finance department went above and beyond in helping me with my purchase. This was the quickest and easiest car buying experience I've ever had. This is a small town company who take pride in what they do and it shows!! Every employee we saw greeted us with a smile and was very polite. They don't try and give you the run around or sell you what they think they should. They make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. My family has purchased three vehicles from here and plan on returning to get more!

Customer Service is vastly improved. Courteous helpful front counter people who call you and keep you up to date on what is happening and promptly call you when your vehicle is ready. No waiting all day for a call back and still having to call to see if your car is ready. Quick fix and prompt calls. Loved it!

I took my new (used) Fusion to be checked out for a safety recall. Everyone was friendly and they worked quickly to get my car back to me. Definitely will take my car there again to be checked out if needed.
