I bought an RV down here. I Brought it in for a Service and some repairs, fuel leak, dash AC not working, alternator not working, headlight switch defective and got 2 new steer tires installed. RV is a Diesel pusher with a 400 ISL Cummins. I m from Canada and made the appointment before flying down. They were great to communicate with prior to arrival. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I was even more impressed when I dropped it off. Jorge, the owner, made sure they put covering over my floor so it didn t get dirty. He went over everything I wanted fixed. They completed all repairs, sourced out needed parts, even got my alternator rebuilt when they couldn t find a replacement. Did all of it in less than 2 days and then went over it with me when I picked it up. The office manager ensured I was satisfied with my repairs before I paid. The invoice was fair for the work done. They were all very friendly. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely use them again when in the area. Jorge even said as I left to stop in just to say hi next time and hoped I wouldn t need any repairs. Great people.**UPDATE**After leaving Edinburg, my engine batteries died near Corpus Christi. Long story short, the Alternator they had outsourced for rebuild was not charging. Had alternator replaced at a Rush Truck Centre. Jorge called me and said he was paying the bill at Rush as this shouldn t have happened. Again, great people to do business with. Jorge is a man of integrity. Still wouldn t hesitate to go back to US 281. Thanks

This is a great family business very professional.We showed up at the shop around 8:30 a.m. to get brakes on the trailer two axles and grease job on truck and trailer. We didn't have an appointment by 10:30 a.m. they were finish. We was able to make our pickup 4 hours ahead of pickup time . Great work US 281 Truck and Trailer service. Thanks for keeping us on the road and the wheels turning . The mechanics know what they're doing. And the labor rate is very reasonable .Thank you again William Endsley Trucking

FAST FAST FAST!I blew a front drive hub gasket about 4 miles from their north Edinburg location. Limped it on over and was in and out in 30 mins.1 hour minimum labor charge.Plenty of room to pull in with a big rig and comfy couches in the waiting area

This place is great! We always get our cars and our big motorhome inspected here. This time they fixed a problem on our bus that other shops were having a hard time figuring out. The office is always cheerful friendly and helpful. We like this place a lot!

There is no other place like US 281. I am always greeted with smiling faces and a family friendly atmosphere. Each time I go or contact them they are very professional and understand my needs. They are reliable and get the service done right. They have the touch to put my tensions to ease and leave very pleased and content. Thumbs Up!

These people are synonymous with excellence! They are very knowleadable, efficient, but above all, they are friendly and make the customer feel confident in the work they are performing. They have maintained and modified our trucks for the last 10 years And they never seize to amaze us with their innovative ideas. Gaby, who runs the place is always in a good mood, which is frankly refreshing! I highly recommend their services!

Truck had an oil leak, power steering leak, and a coolant leak. They got me in within an hour of calling. Fixed what was important, and I was back on the road. Price was good, people were great. I don't speak Spanish so I couldn't communicate with the mechanic. But the boss man and his daughter did a great job of translating and informing me of what they found will stop here if ever in the area again. Thanks a million.Baker

Been here twice and they always attend me quickly. I went in for an inspection for one of our fleet vehicles and another time to get a piece of equipment spot welded. Excellent service A+! Will visit you guys again in the future

Lucky enough to find this place when my power divider went out on the way to Brownsville. Dropped my trailer and pulled into the shop and they started working working on my truck in minutes. Ordered a rebuilt differential and the part came in the late the next day. Everything worked out great and I was on my way. Great work at a good price.

The mechanic named Mario was extremely knowledgeable and his level of customer service was beyond reproach. He took his time and explained everything until I was comfortable with all the information he had told me. He is head and shoulders above the competition and I m sure he is a priceless asset to his employer! Every business should have employees of his caliber!

Went back this year and still has great customer service even in this Valley heat they greeted me with a smile.Customer Service was great! I don't have a lot of time to run errands, the location is great and the service is fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable employees!

If you are looking for reliable and economic service this is the place to be! I have had the pleasure of doing business with this shop for over a year now. I can honestly say they get the job done, no other place has been more friendly and upfront than them. I would recommend this shop to a friend any time!

They are a very good and reliable shop, Jorge Lopez and his team are one of the best mechanic shops in the valley . Jorge has stretched 2 of my Peterbilt s and does very clean work . Highly recommend them !

I was in Donna Texas when my water pump started leaking. Called several shops and either they couldnt get me in or wanted to charge an outrages amount of money. I found US 281 on the internet and gave them a call. It was close to closing time but they listened to my problem and said if i woould be there first thing in the morning they would get me right in. I showed up at 730 and true to their word they got me in and started on my truck. Everyone was very nice and professional! Jorge was awesome! They did a good job and charged me a very reasonable labor rate! If I ever need anything done in the Texas valley agwin I will be going back to US 281! Keep up the awesome work!

The five star reviews are probably from the the staff or people who have not even made contact with this llc company or shop, shade tree truck shop is better said.in my opinion, the sellers need to be educated in professionalism and research prices on the trucks or equipment they sell. This place is as big rip off and made for people who don't know what they are buying they can get taken advantage of as a customer. If your buying here do research, I guarantee you that you will find a better deal and better equipment for your dollar.

We are Winter Texans. When it was time to return home this spring, we started our motorhome and threw a belt. We called US 281 Truck and Trailer Services LLC and Mario came out to our campground and checked it over and diagnosed our problem(s). He felt it would be best if it went to the shop for the work. He arranged towing for us and got it to his shop where we were greeted by him and his warm and professional family and staff. The work was done well and we were repaired and on our way later the same day. While breaking down is never a good thing they made it as pleasant and speedy as possible for us. We will not hesitate to recommend them in the future. Joan and Glenn

I have used this shop for years. They do very good reliable work at very reasonable prices. And they have never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. If you need anything from regular maintenance or repairs to custom fabrication, I would recommend this shop to anyone.

They have the best diesel mechanics and truck customization experts in all of South Texas. Of all the truck repair shops I have gotten my truck fixed , they are the most professional commercial truck and trailer repair shop I have ever been to.

This place is great conveniently located right off the expressway . The staff is knowledgeable Friendly and know what they are doing.I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has commercial vehicles. This is a one stop shop for all your needs from oil change bodywork paint overhaul and state inspections this place does it all !!!!!! Can t wait to visit you at your new location.

brought trailer in for a fuel tank replacement and 5 cross members which i provided the parts thank god or i would have been killed with their up charge , they are extremely overpriced. work was performed in one day and got charged over 1k for labor. I think they are seriously overpriced. but if money is not a concern i would recommend. basically would have been cheaper at the dealer.

These guys have the most professional, honest and hi tech diesel truck repair mechanics in Edinburg, Texas and the rest of the RGV. By far the best truck shop I have ever got my Kenworth repaired at.

I couldn't believe the great service I got. I had lost pressure to my trailer air bags,they backed me in right away, found the issue and was on my way in under an hour. Thanks again guys
