Updated 04/09/2024 at end.I ordered a Ranger Boat and options through Outdoor Specialties because I didn't want to deal with Cabela's. When it arrived and I went to pick it up (3 1/2 hour round trip) we took a 'test drive'. Prep work was great, no issues.About a year or two later I took it in for a fuel tank issue. Valve was replaced on the tank, issued fixed. I waited on it because it didn't take long.No problems with boat or motor, but want a 'routine' maintenance as a preventive measure. I called a couple of months ago, thinking that with warm weather and Covid they would be busy. They were. Waited until November to call back, made an appointment, and will be taking my boat to them this week. Unless something goes wrong with the motor, I'll be headed back home with it by lunch time. To make a short story long, excellent service and a great place to do business with.Update: I made my appointment for routine service, headed home 1 1/2 hours later.04/09/2024Conflict about repairs and improper battery installation. Called Hunter on 03/04/24 and spoke to him about my concerns. He said he would check on it the next day and get back with me.After nine days and not getting a call back, I called again on March 13. I was told he was with a customer and would be given a message to call me back.It is now April 9th and Hunter has still not called me back, so I guess I've gotten his message.

Bought a Hustler zero turn mower there. Very friendly and helpful staff. They also do the warranty work on them there in their shop. They also service and sell boats, motors, and parts.

Disappointed unfortunately. I spoke with Hunter roughly 3 times over the last month or so in regards to buying a new Ranger boat. Once I had my list down to the final 2 options I called to get an out the door price. Told him exactly what options I wanted on the boat and never heard back. I even called a second time and left a message with another gentleman to have Hunter give me a call and still nothing. Their lack of timeliness lost them a sale.

My 2018 Ranger 621 has been at Outdoor Specialties on two occasions for repair and warranty work. They are by far the best boat dealer I have dealt with. A reliable dealer is tough to find. The boat was purchased from a dealer in a different state but I am always treated as if I purchased the boat from them. They get it repaired in a timely fashion and the work is done right the first time. It is worth the 4 hour round trip for me to bring my 621 in for service. Check them out for your boating and repair needs. You will not be disappointed

Came to this place 2 years ago was told boat was ready drove 4 hrs to pick it up wasn't ready. So waited around 4 hrs for them to finish the job. They blamed it on a employee who they fired that week. Cost $830 they knocked 2 hrs off for my wasted time. Decided to try them again recently. Was told boat should be ready Friday called mid day when headed to the lake was told they didnt realize they would need a seal also and that it would be Monday before they finished. They call me Monday and say the boat is ready and ask me when I would be picking it up. I said this afternoon or the next day. Go to pick it up Tuesday and get there he said when he went to throw on spark plugs that morning he noticed reservoir was empty (which was one of the original problems we had with it) and that he would have to order the part. They end up deciding they had a kit that would work for it and that it would be done that evening or the next day. Go pick boat up the next day and they left old spark plugs and rope hanging from the back. The oil they drained from boat just left below motor didnt drain it. The safety hook at the front just clipped onto the hook from the boat trailer. The 5 hr job they quoted me for the bearing ended up being a 8.5hr job. So $1500 later it is safe to say they have forever lost my business.

The whole team was pleasant to work with during the purchase process. I will definately come back to them for future boating needs. Come here, then compare it to a Bass pro experience and you will know what I'm talking about.

took a bass boat in a year or so ago got it back with the same problems it came in with but a $600 charge for an impeller and water testing witch clearly didn t happen or they would ve known it wasn t fixed

Worst deal I've ever done. I bought a skeeter boat from them and was told it was lake ready well that was a lie. The first time out I didn't even make it past the no wake zone and water pump quit and they replaced it and I got it back and it barely runs and the lower unit just went out on the third trip so yeah really feel like I got screwed out of my money. Worst boat I've ever bought!!

I dropped my boat off for service and was told "it'll be done next week" for almost two months. I wouldn't have heard anything about my boat if I didn't call to ask for updates. Although the staff is nice, I did not feel that I was a priority. I would defiantly not reccomend Outdoor Specialties to anybody.

I just got a new Ranger from Terry and had a great experience. Cabela's was closer but I went to Terry on the advice of a friend. He went beyond the call of duty to get it rigged exactly as I wanted. Customer service is unbelievable and he makes himself easily available. Check him out before you go to Cabela's.

I can't praise Outdoor Specialties enough. Immediately after buying a used boat the motor went down & these guys went above and beyond in repairs saving me a lot of money. Most places wouldn't have done what these guys did. A huge thank you to OS.Terry BarteeBangs, Tx

Thay where nice at first looked at a boat and made a appointment for test drive a week in advance showed up and another customer wus looking at the same boat and thay took them out first .. and I wish lied to about how long thay had the boat I was looking at. Will never going back..

I want to put zero stars! Beware!!! Took in my boat over a month ago, all I get off the fun around. Finally pick it up today payed over a grand, and it's having the same problem it was having when I took it in!!! I will see them on civil court!
