We enjoyed our stay at Inez Springs River Resort, especially the spring fed swimming pool. Everyone was friendly and our spot backed up to a cliff that overlooks the pool. The spot wasn t quite level and I wish I had brought a board to help level the trailer some. We ll be back to enjoy the pool again.

Amazing campground. This is our second time camping here in a year and the kids have a blast each and every time. Even though there s no flushing bathrooms the porter potties are always clean unlike some places you go to, the owners take great care in their place. Arrive at the campsite and around the campsite is raked and cleaned with wood in the fire ring and a pile of wood to burn when you need more. The swimming hole has been redone since the last time we ve come but they now have a kiddie side where my little girls could play. They have a high jump and a rope swing. They have a river running next to the campground that goes to a beautiful lake with really cool cliffs. Dee and Sam do an amazing job and are super friendly and take care of their campers. Keep up the amazing work guys! We ll be camping here again.

This place is so wonderful. Lots of shade trees nestled next to the river. Picnic tables, BBQ grills, and hiking trails right by the pool. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be return customers. Outside the big city, so there's not a horde of people shoulder to shoulder everywhere. If you want to get-a-way and enjoy yourself and have a great day, this is the place. And the staff was so nice and respectful!! Can't give 6 stars, or I would!

Though shut down for the winter, Dee let me in to check out the campsites. WOW, we have driven on 20 past this GEM dozens of times. It s up for sale now, hopefully the new owners will keep it a Rec area and camping site.

I would love to go back when the pool was open and the river has more water. It looks like a great place to have a day outing with family/friends. The staff was very courteous.

As if $8/person entry wasnt ridiculous enough for this small town, they wanted to charge $10 for a "convenience fee" just to DROP OFF my injured mother and newborn down at the pool. But the whole situation was handled so badly. I just wanted to hurry in dropping them off so I could go back to free parking and walk. The man at the entry to the "convenience parking" started off so rude I was ready to get my money back before getting out of my car but decided to give the benefit of a doubt (my mistake.) After telling the man I wasn't about to have my mother walk, I unloaded her and the baby and I drove back to the free parking area. We sat in the water a while but immediately after my husband arrived & we were trying to enjoy the cool sping pool together on the 100 day- the owner SOUGHT US OUT to talk. And instead of just apologizing for all the misunderstanding and everyone going about their day. He just had to explain in justifying his pricing and making several smart remarks to us (guilty conscience for price gouging much.)All I wanted was to just cool down in the pool because I hadn't been in the water all summer (while pregnant.) But, I let him and his ego have the moment and when he left we stayed a little while longer to swim. It was just amazing that the owner felt he had to seek us out to justify his pricing instead of letting some customers maybe enjoy his property and later encourage others to go too. But you know what they say- a happy customer will tell a few people, an angry customer will tell the world.

I would have gave this RV park a 5 rating except for the owners barking dog that they will do nothing about, besides that it s a great park.

This place is a hidden gem!!Loves:- so many trees, well shaded, you will not need a canopy (like we thought) even the pool has shade. It was amazing- so much seating! They have a picnic area outside the pool area to eat and hang out with chairs. The pool has chair inside and out.- they provide tubes to float around in, and balls- mini slide for the Littles- rope swing for all ages- high diving platform- great family atmosphere- the owner or a manager was walking around checking on the guest, asking where everyone was from, he was nice.Area for improvement... I didn't see anywhere to put our trash. We had to carry it back, but seriously not a huge deal.I haven't camped in ages and they do have camp sites, but I can't tell you if the pricing is worth it or not. It didn't look like they had power hook ups, but they had lots of seating in the camp sites near the pool. Something we might look into doing.I can't wait to go back!

With this Texas weather this is the place to be!! The spring fed pool is a dream. Very shady most of the day and the surrounding area is beautiful. 10/10 with check in, the scenery and the drive. (We are from dfw) we have an 11mo old and the heat didn't affect him bc of the pool. I suggest campsite #21, has the most shade for an rv spot. But overall a beautiful place with respectful people.

Staff was friendly and attentive to their customers. Checked on us multiple times to ensure we didn't need anything. My family loves this place and we will definitely be back!PS maybe add camp site numbers so we can find our camp site easily!

The price was great! We went to a birthday party. The kids. Loved swimming while we hiked. I did have concerns about the color of the water. It was expressed they painted the pool area a green color which will be redo e after the season to a blue. I believe this will be better.

Aug 2022- Decided to take our family on a short afternoon trip this past weekend to Inez Springs to swim. The location is easy to find, the front building was easy to spot, and lots of white gravel. We were a bit shocked at the $8/person cost no matter age for the pool. One member of our family just had shoulder surgery and came with arm in sling and surgical tape around shoulder explained to the staff they were not able to swim. No concessions were made to price. Stating there were other things to do like hiking, kayaking, and so forth. When we explained the use of this persons arm would not allow for the listed activities it was stated the price is the price. There is a parking convenience fee of $10 to park down by the pool. We chose the free option to park and walk down. The walk down started by an old rusted 50 s Cadillac with a nice short staircase through a little cleft in the rocks along a well cut trail. The pool is heavily gated with one entrance surrounded by sand. The entrance has a little pool with water asking people to wash feet before entering. Which would be fine if it was clean water. The pool itself is large with areas of shade from the cedar trees. They have a small water slide for the littles, a rope swing and a homemade diving stand. There is no Lifeguard so all swimmers assume risk. The cold clear spring water gushes up from a pipe at the shallow end. The water in the pool was a murky greenish whiteish color. Which gave us pause, but there were a few others swimming and it was a hot day, so we decided to stay and all went swimming but 1.We stayed for 3hrs, kids swam, had a picnic and generally a nice time. We would have stayed longer but some other campers decided to bring a speaker and play music we didn t think our kids should be listening to.Passing out of the pool, the water in the feet washing station hadn t been changed since we d been there. I don t think that water was doing any good at this point, nor would I want to stick my feet in it.Maybe the camping experience is better. The camp sites did look very nice. However for a quick afternoon trip, the cost definitely gives us pause and cleanliness of pool area is questionable.Breakdown- 3hrs of time =$16/hr for our family of 6 to swim.

I have had a few times at the park to enjoy the atmosphere they have created. Each time I have gone to the park it has transformed into a different world. Sam and Dee are geniuses in finding peoples likes and infusing them into the park for everyone to enjoy. I only wish that I had taken a lot of before and after pics to post the progression of their place. Great job guys!

This is a new place that they are still working on and adding more ! It is open for business!! They have awesome camp sites a long the river bank with BBQ pit, a burn ring and the wood is already stacked there for you!! They have a large amazing swimming pool! We just checked the place out and fell in love! We will be camping there a lot!!Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be on a leash which is fine by me and of course you have to clean up after your dog!!Picnic area: They have an area for day picnics which is awesome!!

Drove 2 and half hours and Went this weekend and kids loved it! The camp spots are really small for the price and they dont have running water nor electricity.. But nice and clean... River was stagnant looking.... Water hole was really nice... No trash cans anywhere which i am glad we are true campers and had big trash bags for us...Big Dumpster at the entrance to throw when u go! People are nice in office... Oh if u wanna park its 10 extra on top of the 8 per person and additional 35 for camp spot.... We camp alot and for the price nah we wont be back! But Glad we checked it out...

Went there today not realizing that they were not open, my first time there. We drove down to the pool area thinking maybe the pool was open and you would pay there to get in. When we realized it was not open we drove out and was stopped by some a hole in a white suv that was rude as hell, I will never go back and I would not refer anyone there as they are rude and pool was green like algae and gross, probably catch some kind of fungus there, but only my opinion

This is a fantastic place to camp. The owners are lovely folks and the beauty of the scenery is unparalleled. I've tent camped cross country more times than I can keep track of and this is by far my new favorite campground.
