I never had a problem with this place when it was City Garage however recently since the change the quality of service seems to have dropped. Regardless, We took our vehicles here to get inspected and a few odd things occurred, first: one vehicle which never had a check engine light somehow ended up with it on and it wouldn t pass inspection so we proceeded to obtain a diagnostic of our vehicle, but the crazy part was when we paid over the phone for work that was done, we got a phone call shortly afterwards from the bank that we had a charge on our account for footlocker in NY, and Brakes Plus was the only place we used our card that day. I m not sure if their system has a data leak or a hacker or what but it was very disconcerting, and had me wary to do anymore business here just to be on the safe side.

Scott and Keisha was very professional and helpful. They are definitely #1 in Customer Service and fixing cars. I really appreciated the promptness in addressing the issue that was wrong with my vehicle! They take great care of all of our vehicles. They re all about quality and teamwork and it shows.

The staff are very welcoming and professional. Very knowledgeable. They do quick turnarounds and quality work. I've had many repairs done here on different cars. Mark, the manager is very helpful and gives good analysis of your cars diagnostic so you can make the best decision.

Awesome job, had brakes lock up when we got into state park. Traveling in RV and towing, so great to find a reliable place at a good price. Mark and the crew very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I have been going to this Brakes Plus location before they were Brakes Plus. Mark and his team have taken great care of my vehicles. I appreciate they don't try to add on services I don't need or are not immediate. This style of service increases my trust in their repair/maintenance recommendations.

My fianc� received excellent service at this location. Mark and the others were very helpful and efficient in servicing the vehicle. My fianc� was able to walk in, get his car diagnosed and fixed all in the same day. We will definitely use this location going forward because they made us feel priority as customers and were very trustworthy.

I found this place on a Google search because of an awful noise my brakes were making. Went into the shop and was helped by Scott, who provided excellent service. I got a free brake inspection, oil change, new brake pads and brake flush. Great price and same day service! Thank you for your help! I would recommend.

Thank you all so much at Brakes plus in Duncanville, you know your stuff!! Mark, general manager, took excellent care of me and my problem. I have an infiniti and after going to 2 other places I wasn't confident they could help me, but they did and the service was excellent. I would 100% recommend them.

I cannot express my sincere Gratitude for Isiah and Mark at Brakes Plus they were incredible. Put my safety first, were extremely efficient and made sure that my car was back running in tip top shape. If you need brakes or anything done with your car I highly recommend you stop here.

Isaiah and Mark (manager) took great care of me. Great customer service with me and everyone else that came in or called that I witnessed. Clear explanation and gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car. Got it back to me the same day. Been coming to them for awhile and plan to continue

I probably own 1 of the last of the F150's/2001 moving around this 'Metroplex...I enjoy it for so many reasons.I needed radiator hoses replaced, and I chose this shop because I had work done here at a previous time when the shop was known as 'City Garage.My truck needed hoses replaced, and a lot more....I know what you're thinking....but my truck needed more work than the radiator hoses replaced. For each step taken to resolve my truck's problem , I was shown, and given an explanation for the problem, and I was not coerced/swayed to make a decision. I was also given a price of what the cost would be for each resolution. The biggest dilemma was finding the parts for my truck/2001, and they truly worked at getting what was needed to complete the task.I am pleased with the work, and especially pleased with the demeanor of the employees, and the appearance of the shop...employees are professional and courteous, and the shop is clean.One very important gesture was being able to get home, and returning to the shop, when the work was completed because I did not have transportation. There is an 'Uber lift provided...very nice/convenient.Hats off to 'Mark'....awesome....you can trust all he says...his word is good.......I would recommend this shop . "'You get what you pay for"Thank You

Mark is an EXCELLENT mechanic. We have gone to him over the past few years. He is FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and QUICK to solve your problems plus he has a GREAT personality making him so pleasant to deal with.. Again I recommend Mark to anybody who has any car issue.

My husband and I are so thankful for this honest business. The Cooley VW dealership told us that our brake pads were in the red and needed to be replaced for almost $1,500. We wanted to shop around because that was a lot for our pocket so we took it to City Garage. The mechanic called us a half hour later stating that our brakes had 60% left of usage. We were so thankful that they were honest. We will forever go to this mechanic and spend our money here. Honest businesses are rare so I wanted to spread the word. Thank you, City Garage! We will send our friends to you.

if you're looking for a friendly, professional, and honest full-service auto repair shop, well Mark Bank. Steven and Sam, it is the place to go I went in on January 1, 2024, because I saw some oil in the garage where the car was parked I was concerned I didn't know what was going on with the car So I called and ask if I could bring the car in sam said yes they look at the car and said what they did for it I was at ease after they got finished Steve told me if you see any more oil bring the car back in I said okay I am telling you if you need your car work on go to brakes plus I highly recommend their place thank y'all so much I will take the car back if I need them thanks again

Took my vehicle here for a state inspection and the service was fair as well as the wait time (in and out in about 30 minutes). However, I was failed due to "torn wiper blades" and charged an additional $40 to replace 2 wipers on my vehicle. I've never paid this much for wiper blades & definitely would recommend replacing the blades yourself if necessary before bringing your vehicle here for an inspection.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation

I recently had my front brakes serviced at the Duncanville location. Mark, the manager here, helped a lot and was transparent about each stage(diagnosis, repairs needed, timing on repairs). I appreciate that kind of service and I m more likely to bring more cars here as they need brake work.

Very honest about the condition of my brakes especially being a woman a lot of car shops take advantage and try to make something out of nothing. But they didn t do that :) they were completely honest with me and talked to me throughly about my brakes. Thanks so much for being honest in this economy.
