I have been to many shops where they just slap a muffler on and send you on your way... Not this place... He was so meticulous and exacting as if it was his own car he was working on... He even did a little extra that was asked for and it didn't change his original quote. I can't be happier and I will not take my cars anywhere else from this day forward.... We did not like the process of getting our truck back and how our old catalytic converter was given back to us.We brought our truck in for service to change out 1 catalytic converter for $1,300. When we dropped the truck off at 1:30pm, Vince(husband) offered to pay before we left, but Efrain said to pay later, and pick it up at 5 pm. When we came back to pick the truck up (at 4:45pm), we were told we couldn't pay by credit card because the credit card system was down due to an internet outage, and he could only accept cash. That should have been communicated to us BEFORE we drove back over there to get our truck! We don't walk around with $1,300 in cash. A simple phone call letting us know that the credit card machine was down, and to bring another form of payment would have been appreciated, but instead we drove down there not knowing this, and having no back up form of paymentbecause the bank was not nearby, and closing in 15 minutes at 5pm!We just wanted to pay the cost, and have our truck back, so Vince offered to write a check. He said 'no because the check could bounce'. Then he offered to leave our credit card so the store could charge it when the credit card machine was back online, but he said 'no because we could cancel the credit card and never see us again.' This left no other options for us, so he insited that he has to keep our truck there and for us to come back the next day to pay and pick it up! We left there feeling like we were being viewed as potential criminals and was being punished! We were NOT happy with this since this could have been handled by a quick 'our machine is down, bring cash' phone call!The last part to this was that Vince told him that he wanted the old catalytic converter back once it is replaced with the new one so we could send it back, it was still under warranty, and when he gave it back, it was cut in several places! It was upsetting because cutting it in pieces voids the warranty because they shipped it to us in one piece, so we were going to send it back in one piece, not several! It could have just been unbolted and not cut.Looking under the truck, the newly installed catalytic converter was also not lined up matching the original configuration.Overall, having better communication with us would have been a plus!

This my second interaction for repair or modifications that were requested for two of my vehicles, and I must say the level of service is second to none! The type of service is more the exceptions than the rule! I highly recommend this shop and its owner! I live in a suburb north of Dallas.. Big brother is in a suburb south of Dallas! I make that drive to have work done here! Efrain speaks integrity, and he takes pride in his work! There is NO..."That's good enough " in his dictionary. He does it right, or he doesn't do it at all. There is no in between. As stated.....I make the drive passing 40 other muffler shops in the process.. nothing else needs to be said.

Amazing work I had went to a nearby muffler shop by them and asked if they could delete my resonators and they said bring it back another day so I just left and drove to these guys and when I entered it looked promising with all the exhaust parts they got I knew they knew what they were doing and I asked them the same question could you delete my resonators? And they said yes they can today and I watched them work on my car making sure everything fit properly and also realigning my exhaust to be level and spaced evenly since most cars from the dealer don t even take the time to do that! after they were finished welding he listened for exhaust leaks which I greatly appreciate since other shops I ve been to with past cars didn t even do that and the end result was phenomenal the exhaust sounded so much better and charged way less than if I would do it by myself and am really satisfied with these guys!Service: Exhaust

I ve been to this muffler shop twice with two different vehicles and they have done a great job both times on my exhaust. The owner and his employee are good honest guys, highly recommended.

Edit: 2/24Front brakes fixed, fast & reasonable.6/22Where should I start?Honest car repair; you thought that was an oxymoron, right?! Nope!!This truly is like my Big Brother taking care of my car fairly, honestly, and accurately.I was having overheating problems on a 20 year old Toyota. We replaced just about everything we could, and afyer I took it home, it overheated again. Fortunately, they're open on Saturdays and they discovered there was one more thing which needed replacing. They were able to get it done while I hung out on the VERY comfy couch in the clean waiting area.Brakes, radiators, struts, suspension, mufflers & catalytic converters. This is THE place to go!!

Thank you so much Big Brothers for your quick & thorough job repairing what another mechanic couldn't. Efrain replaced our Toyota Tundra catalytic converters and had to redo all of the work from our original mechanic who replaced the converters twice and it still wouldn't pass inspection. We finally got it fixed right! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

I had my catalytic converter replaced about two weeks ago and the service was absolutely first class ! Honest, fast yet professional service close to home. I most definitely recommend anyone needing muffler or radiator services, etc. to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

So pleased with the customer service here at Big Brother Muffler. Very friendly, same day repair and very fair prices.Had to have my Catalytic converter and sensor replaced after a theif stole them.I will definitely be returning to this repair shop whenever the need arises. If a dual exhaust on my 87 Chevrolet pickup I love it sounds great good job all new piping from the manifolds back couldn't be more pleased with it.

I went into this shop 9-24-21 to get catalytic converters replaced on my 2005 Silverado. I went ahead and had them install dual exhaust with a flow master kit. Very happy with the final product. Work is warranted for a year also.The owner and his coworker are friendly.Good service good product friendly staff reasonable prices. Great work, great staff and great prices! Spent about a couple days looking for a Series 50 flowmaster, which no one had. Called this shop and had it. Gave me a reasonable price and got the privilege to see the work done to my car first hand. Grade A service+++ and they do their bending of pipes their on location. Great work great price, they won a loyal customer. Thank you! Definitely recommend!

Owner was great fixed my diesel exhaust right away , he pulled a truck out that was dropped off all day and got mine in there asap since I lived over an hour away. I went to the other Brothers and regretted the decision. When I went to Big Brother he recalled me calling asking for a quote and told me he would honor that price to redo my MBRP system. This shop is top notch! We had to bring my daughter's car after being taken advantage of at another shop. The owner was friendly and our car was ready the next day after being at another shop for weeks. We have already been back. It's hard to find an honest mechanic. This is the first exhaust system I ever had put on a truck. He helped me understand the best option for my vehicle and had it done in about 3 hours. Also he was 100 to 150 dollars cheaper than everyone else. Plus he gave me some sweet looking chrome tips for free. I highly recommend this shop.

I took my auto in get two oxygen sensors Replaced on my vehicle. The auto specialist had my Jeep Grand Cherokee services done in no time. I do appreciate the professionalism and also the expertise and stellar auto service. After reading over folks reviews I was happy to drive all the way from Mansfield Texas to Duncanville to have the service done and I feel comfortable that they would do it good job and they did I will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you sir both of you for the work that you did on my car.

Love Big Brother Muffler! Efrain is awesome! Very friendly. Very quick service and they don't charge for unnecessary services. Had an issue with my car and it turned out to be something ridiculously simple. They fixed it for no charge. Would highly recommend Big Brother and will always take my care there.

This place is a life saver! Something hit underneath my car causing exhaust to escape from burst pipes. Big Brother is truly a big brother, giving me an estimate of time I could wait or decide to leave vehicle. I waited and they were more prompt than I expected. They diagnosed my needs and gave me a great price and backed it up with a quality job on my vehicle. I went up to them on a Friday afternoon around 2:30 & asked how much he would charge to install a Catalytic converter on my Honda Pilot. He gave me a price that was alot cheaper than me buying the part myself & then having them install it.Efrain is a very nice person & very honest also!!!!I will for sure go back to him for other things that I need done to my vehiclesYou can Trust Big Brother's 100% to do the work on your vehicle!!!!Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic

Haven't been in Texas long, needed a muffler, looked online and Big Brother was right there. Good reviews, I called talked to Efrain, he told me to bring it in and from there he has a new customer who will refer him. Excellent service, reasonable prices, courteous, clean establishment.

I got my catalytic converter replaced at this place and the services was awesome. The guys there was very friendly and took great care of my car. i was in and out in about 45 mins and not only that, the prices was really really affordable. so affordable that i was kinda shocked when he told me the prices. I will be going back soon to get more work done to my car. and i would recommend this place to everyone. Its a great place to get breaks, shocks, and all sorts of things done to your car at very great price.

I recently had my catalytic converters replaced on my Buick Lacrosse at the Big Brother Muffler and Radiator shop, they did a great job!! My engine light came off and I my car passed inspection with no problem. Pricing is fantastic, his work is impeccable and they are very professional. No need to shop anywhere else.

Efrain (the owner) is very helpful, friendly and gives good prices. He doesn't charge for unnecessary parts. If he can patch it up without having to replace the part he will, without sacrificing the quality of service. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone.
