These people were a literal God-send! (I went down the road and they quoted me over $2000to repair a simple pulley on my Sprinter van! ) I had them tow me to PHOENIX AUTO...They quoted me around $500...when they finished the job ,they said it did not need one of the parts that I thought might need repair,and charged me LESS than the quote- GOD BLESS THIS BUSINESS...THEY ARE HONEST FOLKS!!! please send all your friends! They are polite and FAST!

Gave me a great price!! Couldn t have asked for friendlier service. They were so great replacing my alternator my roommate got his breaks and rotors done with them also. Don t waste you time with other shops. Just get your quote from here!!

Brought my car in for brakes in the morning and they had them done by that afternoon. They even gave me a lift home and came and picked me up when the car was ready rather than letting me take an Uber. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

We had a friend that was on his way from Quebec to Nicaragua and needed a fix on his truck.They did a wonderful job and he posted about it on social media.I ve called the garage to have some parts as well for my truck in Nicaragua and got my friends to bring them to me.They were above and beyond any expectations or services I ever received on the phone. I was sick and coughing the entire call and they were so so patient with me and even proposed me a part that I would have needed and the garage here never told me about.Amazing services above anything I ever experienced in Canada or here in Nicaragua.A particular thanks to Gage.

If you live in the Dickinson/League City area, Phoenix Auto is the easy choice for full service auto repairs. They really impressed me with their quick and affordable work. Brakes went out & most places only want to do the rubber, or charge $500+ and 3 days for metal brake lines. The man that owns this shop is a childhood friend of my dads, he is an awesome person that does great work, he brought my 96 gmc yukon back to life after it has sat for 2 yrs I recommend this man and his honest work.

Daryl was great and showed he really cares about his customers. Phoenix checked my car out and repaired what was needed. Daryl did suggest coming back in a few months for other maintenance work for my 100,000 mile service. He checked all my brakes and said the front brakes were good and that we only needed rear brakes. Many repair shops will automatically charge for all brakes. He also told me how they clean the calipers. He personally test drove my vehicle to ensure the work was satisfactory. Thanks Daryl, see you in a few months for fluid flush and spark plug replacement!

My experience with Daryl at Phoenix Auto Repair has been great. I have had several cars in for different repairs. Each time has been to my satisfaction. He is knowledgeable, direct, competent and timely. All of which ensures that I will bring him work again in the future. I give 5 stars; I have had zero issues.

Had an error code for Bank 1 too lean. Spent about $1,000 for a diagnosis,replacement of downstream O2 sensor, and catalytic converter. Had to go back a second time because I continued getting the same error code and spent another approximately $300 to replace the upstream O2 sensor. That didn't fix the problem either. I didn't go back a third time as that would be insanity. I went ahead and ordered new spark plugs, intake manifold and throttle body gaskets, fuel injector seals and replaced them all myself as well as cleaned the fuel injectors. Spent $85 on parts and no further error codes. Frustrating and somewhat infuriating.

My vehicle was overheating and my trusted mechanic is in Houston. I knew I would not be able to make it to his shop. Having bad luck with mechanics on this side of town I searched and found Phoenix Auto Repair. They had great reviews and the owner actually reads them and responds. That shows a level of care not many businesses these days have. I took my vehicle there and it was ready the same day and at a very reasonable price. To top of the already exceptional service he came in on Christmas Eve so that I could pick it up. I now have a trusted mechanic on my side of town.If you are looking for a mechanic that does trusted work at a fair price look no further.

I called around multiple shops looking for an estimate and Darryl gave me the best price knowing that he was competing for my business. However, when I took my car in he told me the original shop that informed me what was wrong was full of it and the issue would be even cheaper than originally quoted job. I took my car in on Friday and Monday afternoon it was ready, considering closed on weekend it was a quick turn around. A few days later I felt the same issue and was told to bring it back. Darryl fixed the issue again within the same day and apologized for me having to bring it back. Because he guarantees his work he did not charge me, nor did he try to tell me there was a new problem as I've had others do in the past.My car has over 100,000 miles and I asked for a quote for a tune up. When I told him I needed to save money he didn't try to pressure me saying I would be sorry or it was time sensitive. He understood I needed to be able to get the money and simply asked I call him when I'm ready.I feel confident this shop is very honest and straight forward. I will continue to get any work done at Phoenix.

Have to agree with another review on here about how busy this place can get, but everything done is solid. With that said, calling ahead would be best especially if you can't be without the vehicle for more than day. And a personal plus, Darryl is an f-body enthusiast so don't hesitate bringing those models in if you don't already have a trusted mechanic shop in the area.

Phoenix Auto Repair, Daryl and crew did a great job on the front end my truck, upper and lower control arms, ball joints and bushings. They are awesome in making sure not to overcharge you or do more than what you really need. Honest people, and I recommended Phoenix Auto Repair!

Daryl at Phoenix Automotive has been extremely helpful with my old SUV - almost at 200,000 miles. He has worked on my car several times, and because we live close, he's dropped me off at home when my ride couldn't come til later and he didn't want me walking home. He has helped explain the importance of getting certain things fixed and when not to wait as it'd cause more damage to my car if I did. I would highly recommend Phoenix Automotive for any of your car/maintenance issues.

Darryl saved my car. After burning out my 2006 Saturn Vue while fishing on the Island last month, he found a used replacement engine at an affordable price with relatively fewer miles than the original. He completed the repair quickly and efficiently with great care and precision. Darryl is an excellent mechanic with extensive expertise, but above all he is a good man who does honest business. I really appreciate his help with this "major surgery". He has definitely earned my endorsement, thank you very much!!

I am new to the South Houston area and I met Darryl Corse in our Networking group. I am always a little nervous trying to find a new mechanic, but my truck really need to be serviced bad. Darryl took the time and listened to everything I had to say about my vehicle. I probably sounded like and idiot but he took it for what it was worth. Then he took my vehicle in for a free test to find out exactly what was wrong with it. Called me back about a hour later gave me the price and how long it wold take to fix the vehicle. I told him it was good to go because that truck is how I make my living. I ended up having to work early the next day. I called and explained that to Darryl and he worked through the night to fix my vehicle. I have never met a mechanic that would work that hard for their customers.Oh to put the icing on the cake, he even washed my dirty truck. If you need any type of repair or general maintenance please go to him. He will take care of you.

I called PAR on Thursday the 19th for an appointment on Tuesday the 3rd. I called on the day of the appointment to confirm the time. The employee said they are working with a skeleton crew and tomorrow the 4th would be better. I made my second appointment for the Wednesday the 4th at 1p. On the 4th from 9a-noon I called three times to confirm my appointment but the phone was never answered. I arrived on time for my 1p appointment on Wednesday and all the doors were closed, nobody was around and the gate to access the office was padlocked.

I'd definitely recommend Darryl Corse to anyone I know. I have taken my '98 Isuzu Rodeo to him countless times and always gives me a fair price, I am always nervous being a female going to get mechanical work done, but he is very friendly and straight forward with the diagnosis of the problem and the price is always fair. I don't feel like he would try to up-charge me or anything like that. Anytime someone I know asks for a mechanic, I always recommend Darryl at Phoenix Auto.

They did a great job replacing the transmission temp sensor on my F250 diesel. Great work, quick turnaround and a fair price. I will be using them for any of my future mechanic work.
